Sasuke laid down in his room, looking at the ceiling, thinking, did he just kissed Kari? What in the world made him do that? He never made contact with a girl like that.

With these thoughts in mind, he fell into a deep sleep, still picturing Kari's moonlit face.

It was already 8 o'clock in the morning when Kari woke up, she felt her Tenfuuin and tears begun stinging her mint orbs, how could she be so weak?!

"You're weaker than you think…."

"Who's there!" Kari asked no one in particular. Great! Just great, a voice when im in bed, weak, no chance against fighting! She thought.

"You'll meet me soon enough, for im coming for you…I know everything about you, I've been watching you…

"Leave me alone!!!" She shouted, tears flowing freely from her eyes, her bandaged body shaking badly.

Sasuke appeared by the door, "Kari?! What's happening?"

"Voices, I hear voices…" then suddenly Kari broke down, uncontrollably shaking "Im scared, Sasuke-kun…"

"I think you should tell Hokage-sama about this."

"But…"

"Its for your own good not mine! But if you don't want to, then practice yourself getting used hearing those voices, and don't you ever come to me crying about it!" Sasuke finally shouted, unable to keep it all inside. He heard Kari gasped, eyes opened wide.

"It…was…just…" Kari bowed her head, making Sasuke unable to hear her last words.

You're weaker than you think…

Kari suddenly gripped her head, crying on her pillow.

Sasuke slowly walked towards Kari, "Im…sorry, I should've considered you're condition, I didn't mean to shout and…" He was cut off when Kari hugged him.

===KARI'S POV===

I heard him gasp, I knew he was surprised by my actions, well I was too. I don't know why, but the feeling feels really familiar. I could feel his body tense, then moments later he relaxed, soon enough, I could feel his hands surround me, supporting me, protecting me. I closed my eyes, and felt his warmth. I let my tears pour down my cheeks when he hugged me harder, as if he doesn't want to let go. I felt at peace, for I know im safe when im with him. I don't know why, but it seems like we've known each other before. But I know its impossible, because not once have I left my village before the tragedy. Then my eyes shot open, yes, there was a time I left my village. Then memories began flooding my thoughts…

~~ 6 years ago ~~

"Kari, will you please look for herbs? Im afraid that your mother's fever wont subside until we got those herbs"

"Hai, father!"

"Run along now, and be careful"

The seven-year-old Kari smiled at her father then ran out of the house. When she reached the forest, she came to a clearing. There was a boy there, just about her age, she smiled at him, but he ignored her. When the boy looked back at her, his eyes narrowed. She wondered why, then suddenly the boy ran to her and lifted her from the ground then landed on a tree branch, as soon as the boy picked her up, a couple of shurikens landed on where she was standing just moments ago. Her eyes widened, the boy put her down and walked to where the shurikens are.

"Their tips are dipped in poison." The boy finally spoke, then he turned his back to leave. As he did this, Kari noticed the symbol on his shirt. It was the Uchiha Fan.

"Thanks for saving me Uchiha-san!" Kari shouted.

"My name is Sasuke, and I only saved you because I don't want to be blamed if someone sees me with your dead body." He answered irritatingly.

"Oh, but thanks anyway!"

Sasuke turned around, surprised. She's still thanking me after what I said? His lips curved into a small smile, more like a smirk. "Whatever, I think it's quite rude when I told you my name and you didn't tell me yours." He said, sitting under the shade of a tree.

"Im Kari, Kari Akegata."

"Nice meeting you, Kari-chan."

"The same here Sasuke-kun"
