Trouble Starts

 

Kai groaned the closer people were to them the harder it was to erase the memories from their minds. It wasn't long before Kai slowly begin to fall into unconscious.

Kai thoughts: Oh great, now? Yuki, Umi why did you have to ask that guy about the ramen? He was only trying to read a newspaper. The bond is strong it's hard to erase.

Kai heard a crash from far away.

Kai: Great now I'm going to miss something.

Kara jumped onto a tree branch unsure if she was being followed or not. She saw a dark shadow fall over her. A familiar voice said her name.

Kai slowly opened her eyes.

Kai thoughts: Wait a second; I fell asleep in a chair not on the floor.

Yuki: Kai you're up.

Kai: Uh, what happened? Where are we?

Yuki: In a cave. Apparently Orochimaru was quite desperate to find Ginsora, he attacked all of Kohona.

Kai: Where is everyone?

Yuki: Ginsora and Umi are scouting the area. I'm not sure where Kara went and Kyomi's just outside the cave.

 

It wasn't long before Umi returned.

Umi: There doesn't seem to be anyone around but, Ginsora's checking again to be sure.

Yuki: Do you know where Kara went?

Umi: No, I haven't seen her.

At that moment someone took a step into the cave.

Yuki: Kara! Huh, what are you?

Kara stumbled in carrying something on her back. Wait, not just something, someone.

Umi looked and knew instantly who it was.

Umi: Kara, are you mad?

Yuki: Don't call her mad.

Umi: I'm not; I'm just asking if she is.

Kara: I went back to the village to make sure Orochimaru had left but then Kiba saw and followed me. Then, we ran into sound ninja.

Kara took Kiba off her back and laid him on the cave floor.

Yuki: Where's Akamaru?

Kara: I don't know.

Kai: Kara, Ginsora isn't going to like this.

Kara: I could care less what she thinks.

Ginsora: And what do I think?

Everyone turned to the cave mouth. Ginsora stood there with Kyomi beside her.

Kara: Please Ginsora, I couldn't leave him.

Ginsora made her way to Kiba as Kara continued her plead.

Kara: We were attacked and I didn't know what else to do. I couldn't take him back to the village or they'd catch me and I couldn't leave him in the middle of the forest with the possibility of sound ninja being around.

Ginsora mostly ignored Kara's protest. She looked at Kiba and sat down next to him, for a second, she saw his dark brown hair and thought of her childhood friend.

Ginsora: Umi, Kyomi get some cold water. Yuki look in that bag and get me a blanket and a towel. Kai, you start a fire, Kara go with Kai to get wood.

Everyone did as they were told.

It wasn't long before Kiba woke up.

 

Kai: I'll erase his memories.

Kara: No!

Kai: Kara, get out of my way!

Kara: No you can't erase his memories!

Kiba: What are you talking about?

Kai: Oh thanks for spilling the secret Kara!

Kara: Hey, it isn't as big of a secret as Ginsora's past was!

Kai: You told me to tell everyone, baka!

Kara: So you're saying all this is my fault!?

Kai: Oh, why not, if it was up to me we would've left a week ago. We wouldn't have to pull Kiba into this!

Kara: Well excuse me for caring!

Kai: You care too much! I don't know why you're still here; you should've left years ago!

Kara: Why don't you leave you're rude, and always depressed do you ever smile!?

Kai: At least I don't pull someone into my problems.

Kara: You don't need to; you're a big enough problem yourself with your life sucks attitude! I don't get how people put up with you!

Kai: At least if my mother was alive I wouldn't pretend she didn't exist

Kara: How would you know!? At least your parents were alive long enough for you to know them!

Kai: Oh, how lucky am I? I only got to see them murdered in front of me! At least you had someone to look after you! You can't stand up fully without someone to lean on! You were only on your own for a few hours before we decided to take you in!

Kara: I never asked anyone to!

Kai: We only took you in because we felt sorry for you!

Ginsora: That's it!!! Stop!!!

Yuki pulled back Kai and Umi pulled back Kara before they could start throwing punches at each other.

Ginsora: We just recently visited everyone's past. We don't need to debate them.

Kara and Kai glared at each other and sat on opposite sides of the cave.

Ginsora looked outside the cave as rain began to fall.

Ginsora: We can't do anything until tomorrow. I suggest everyone enjoy sleeping in this cave tonight.

Lee: I demand that I be allowed to find them.

Tsunade: Lee, I understand you're under stress, everyone is but we're dealing with three of the legendary tailed beasts along with one of them being the daughter of Orochimaru. I've sent all the Jonin, Shino, Neji, and Shikamaru to find them. They'll be able to find them.

Lee: Tsunade please, I must find her.

Tsunade sighed.

Tsunade: I know I'll regret this later but, go.

Ginsora thoughts: Great another vision.

 

Yuki sneezed as dirt flew into her nose. She hadn't been able to sleep. Everyone had a bad past and Kara's and Kai's fight had shaken her quite a bit. She laid in silence until she heard someone move. Yuki looked at the cave mouth to see by the little light from the moon that Ginsora was walking out.

Yuki thoughts: Probably to train. I wonder if she'll tell me now.

Yuki got up as quickly and quietly as possible. She went outside to see Ginsora walking into the forest. Yuki ran after her knowing something was wrong.

Yuki: Ginsora?

Yuki ran in front of Ginsora and found her eyes glowing orange.

Yuki: Ginsora?

Yuki reached up and before she could blink Ginsora grabbed her arm.

Ginsora: Look at my eyes Yuki.

Yuki looked and scene after scene of her own past played through Ginsora's Tyokogohn into her mind. Yuki lost the feeling in her body and fell to the ground in shock.

Yuki thoughts: He-he did that?

Yuki lay on the ground and shook as the images came back to her every second, each one becoming clearer. Ginsora didn't even look down at Yuki. She stepped around her shaking body and continued on to where the Tyokogohn was leading her.

Shikamaru: See anything?

Neji: No.

Shino: My insects haven't found anything either.

Neji turned off his Byakugan as Shino's insects retreated.

Gai: I have found her!

The three boys looked up into the trees where Gai stood on a branch.

Shikamaru: Let's go.

Asuma: She looks like she's heading back to Kohona.

Neji: That's what it looks like. Byakugan!

A few moments of silence ticked by.

Neji: She's heading for an open field and, oh no.

Kaskashi: Oh, no what?

Neji didn't answer he ran before anyone could ask any more.

All the jonin, Shikamaru and Shino ran after him.

Shikamaru: Hmm, the sun's just now rising. This is troublesome I want to watch the clouds and sleep.

His train of thought atomatically stopped when they reached the field. They couldn't believe what they saw…..

(Me: I wonder what they saw. Oh wait, I already know. ^_^ )

Kai sprang through the forest with the team racing at full speed to an open field where Kai knew the ghost vision Ginsora had shown her was coming true. Kai was carrying Yuki on her back.

Kai: Yuki?

Yuki: Yes Kai?

Kai: No matter what you think of your past now, never and I mean never think death is the answer. Promise me that.

Yuki: I-I promise.

Kai thoughts: You better keep your word Yuki.

The team stopped behind a row of trees and looked through the leaves at the scene unfolding.

Umi looked to the side of the field and saw all the Jonin, Neji, Shino, and Shikamaru hiding behind a group of trees.

Kai thoughts: I hate when the Tyokogohn is right.
