Ok, so I have started to enjoy the high school fanfics, so I decided I'd make my own. I figured I'd use the Naruto characters seeing as they fit so well into the genre, but I also wanted to add some Skies of Arcadia characters, just cause they're bad ass. And that's what I'm all about, bein bad ass. There are also I few original characters, actually they're one of the main. This will contain strong language I will sensor myself where I see fit, I imagine some allegory, cause I do love me some Salinger and other works of literature, and music, I'll mention some of that too. Oh, and this IS my first fanfic, just an FYI.
Also, I do not, in any way, shape, or form, own Naruto OR Skies of Arcadia

Prologue:
INTRODUCTIONS
" Gah, school's too troublesome" Shikamaru said with a yawn
"But it just staaaaarted" Temari commented, clinging to his arm "you can't start complaining yet. Besides, we get some new students today, from 'Arcadia High,' or somethin like that."
At this point school had been going for about a week. Shika is just a grumpy old man in a kid's body.
"Hey, what're you two love-birds doing?" Sakura chimed in with from the seat behind Temari.
"Oh, Shiki's just bitchin about school."
"Already?"
"QUITE DOWN CLASS!" Iruka yelled over the several conversations going about the room. The room quieted down, all the lovers and friends stopped talking, as well as the "enemies" stopped their arguments. Now, this would've happened anyways, but it seems like it happened just a bit faster than usual, due to the 2 cute girls, and 1 handsome guy standing next to the teacher. But we'll get into all that later.
What needs to be addressed in this Prologue most, is the set up of where the main characters are, both in the social order and physically. Naruto is sitting by the back window on the right side of the room when you walk in. Kiba sits in front of Naruto, with a seat in between them cause they tend to be too loud. Hinata sits to Naruto's right, you might say they have something goin on, although it is unspoken. In front of Hinata and to the right of Kiba is Sakura, again, her and Kiba kinda have an unspoken deal goin, everyone thinks it, no one says it. In front of Sakura is Temari, and to Temari's right is Shikamaru, they, as opposed to the other "couples" are announced, it's official, they're makin on each other. The seat in front of Kiba is empty, Kankuro was transfered to another school on account of fuckin shit up. In front of THAT seat sits Gaara, keeps to himself mostly. The seat to the right of Sakura is empty, as are the 2 seats behind that (convenient, right?). In front of Shikamaru is Choji. On the other side of the room sits the "popular crowd." Ino, and her crew. Sasuke and Shino sit over their too, but they don't really socialize much, although, they seem to be the talk of all the ladies, what with their mysterious nature and acceptable appearance, I'm not sayin that they're hot, cause they're really not, they're just good looking among the average that seems to inhabits the school. The rest of the seats are filled with the trivial characters that either won't be mentioned, or you don't need to know about yet.
All aforementioned characters are sophomores, some juniors are in this class, but not many. Rock Lee and Hinata's brother Neji were in this class, but got a schedule changes, being crazy athletes they wanted more gym activity, and this class isn't exactly what you'd call "important." Really it isn't more than a glorified home room. Tenten doesn't have to come to school till second hour, cause she's an upperclassmen and has a sufficient stockpile of credits (lots of extracurrics and good grades). I'll take this time to mention that Lee is all lonely and single, but Neji is makin on Tenten, that relationship is announced.
Ok, if you can remember back I mentioned that there was a quick hush over the room, yah, that didn't last all that long, shortly after seeing the relatively attractive new students the room began to whisper quite enthusiastically, many of the hushed conversations were borderline harassment, so, I'll spare you the details.
"Please introduce yourselves to the class, then go sit in the 3 chairs over there" Iruka said pointing to the empty seats by Sakura
So that's exactly what they did, starting with the guy, "Hi, my name's Vyse, um, there isn't much about me, so, I won't bore you with a lot of stuff." Vyse had messy brown hair and a scar under his left eye, from who-knows what, and his eyes were an auuuuburn color [AN: I just threw that in cause every fanfic of SoA I've read says it, honestly, I couldn't care less about the eyes of Vyse, or anyone else for that matter, but I'm still gonna talk about these three's eyes, so fuck you] then he took his seat behind Shikamaru and next to Sakura. The next to speak was the girl with long red hair [AN: down, cause she looks fucked up when it's in the pony tail things] "HEY! I'm Aika, and I don't really know what to say either, umm... oh, I love making new friends, so if you wanna get to know me, I'm here anytime!" she said with a wink, then took her seat behind Vyse. The last to speak was a timid girl with blonde hair and green eyes "umm.. hi," she said with a small wave, "I'm Fina, and there isn't anything to say about me either, so I'll just go sit down" with that she quickly walked over and sat behind Aika, and next to Hinata, blushing.
"PST! Hey" Naruto whispered past Hinata go Fina, "I just thought I'd welcome you to Konoha High, and just thought we could all get to know each other more. Like, are you all in 10th grade, like us?"
"Thank you, and no, I'm in 11th, Aika, my sister, and Vyse are both in 10th, though." Fina whispered back timidly. Hearing their names, Vyse and Aika turned around and pulled a "Huh?" simultaneously. Fina answered saying "Nothing, I was just telling them a little about us."
And that is how the introductions began. By the end of the class Vyse and Aika were talking jovially with everyone, cept maybe Hinata, what with her shy demeanor, which was the same reason Fina wasn't conversing much. The two of them were talking a little bit though, just not as audible as the others.
