VIXYPIXY_NO9: Hello again every one! Sorry I haven't written in quite some time but today I have Sausuke here in the Authors World. Say Hi.

SASUKE: Forget it.

VIXYPIXY_NO9: Oh Sasuke, be nice for once. *sweat drops*

SASUKE: N-O no.

VIXYPIXY_NO9: Why not? I'm gonna give you a really good part. *waves finger*
SASUKE: What you mean when you- MMPH!

VIXYPIXY_NO9: -__-; Okay Sasuke *covers his mouth* don't want to give away the next chappie okay?!

SASUKE: *flailing arms about* MFET FO FAMV FAF FOF FE!!!!

VIXYPIXY_NO9: Sorry dude, can't have you ruin the story now!

SASUKE: *grabs kunai* FI FOFO FI FU!!!! (Translation: I'm gonna kill you!!!!)

VIXYPIXY_NO9: O_O; EEEEEP!!!! I'M SO OUTTA HERE! ON WITH THE STORY!!!! *runs away leaving a cloud of dust* AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

 

 

CHAPTER 3 THE KUNAI KNIVES AND THE PRINCESS

“Kakashi-sensei, are we there yet?” Naruto said, dragging his feet along the dirt path. “No Naruto, would you hold on a few more minutes?” Kakashi asked, almost an eager plead in his voice. Sakura shot Naruto a death glare as this was the 5th time in an hour he had asked. “GOD NARUTO, DO YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A COMPLETE IDIOT?! `CHA!!! HE'S SO ANNOYING' That's right, completely annoying but…he still has a nice ass. `WHAT THE HELL, SAKURA?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO INSULT HIM NOT DROOL OVER HIM!!'”

 

 

Sasuke looked very confused at Sakura, unaware that she was having one of those wars with her inner self again. “For the love of God! How many times must Naruto ask that?! It's really starting to piss me off…” “Would you shut up dobe, your starting to tick me off” Sasuke stated smugly while crossing his arms to his chest. “You can't keep your mouth shut for two seconds can you?” “What was that Sasuke-bastard? You wanna fight?!” Naruto yelled, jumping into a fighting stance. Oh my, here we go again…

 

 

“WOULD YOU TWO JUST GIVE IT A REST?! YOUR GIVING ME A HEADACHE!!!!!” Sakura was definitely not in a good mood and when she's not in a good mood…well….things break, most likely bones. “GOD YOU TWO BETTER SHUT THE HELL UP BEFORE I DO IT MYSELF!!! AAAAARRG!!!” Sakura screamed, her chest heaving up and down, her face contorted into an angry snarl coupled with the red tint to her face. She was not happy. After all, her scream had just scared off any bird and wild animal within a ten mile radius of them. “Jeez, Sakura, you don't have to yell. Oh I know why you're mad,” Naruto placed his hands behind his head as Sakura's flaming eyes softened “you're just mad `cause I accidentally saw you butt naked in that river while you were bathing.” Wrong answer. Sakura was now fuming and she looked somewhat… demonic with that blank look in her eyes.

 

 

“Oh Naruto…” Sakura began to crack her knuckles “YOUR GONNA PAY!!! `CHA!! I'LL BEAT YOU TO A BLOODY LIFELESS PULP!!!'”

 

“Umm, Sakura…what are you doing?! I don't like that look in your eyes…” Naruto began to sweat profusely “…oh GOD! SAKURA, DON'T…AH!!” Too late. Sakura already had his head in a death lock and was about to pulverize him when… “GUYS GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!” Sasuke yelled frantically causing the entire team to jump out of the way. “What the…Sakura, behind you!” Kakashi yelled as four kunai shot out of the sky towards the tree Sakura and Naruto where perched in. As they where about to jump away, a barrage of shuriken bombarded them and two managed to lodge themselves in Naruto's back, sending him face first into the ground, knocking him unconscious. Kakashi revealed his sharingan eye and was desperately searching for the origin of the renegade weapons. Yet, he could no find anything visible and couldn't feel any chakra. Neither could Sasuke as both his sharingan activated.

 

 

He was well hidden beneath the vast canopy, shading him from any foreign nins view, giving him a top vantage point from which to attack. But something was not right. Fog began to roll into the area from all around. An eerie presence loomed around him and he could feel it, straight through his bones. He turned his head to the right and to the left, searching for the area from which the ominous presence came. But still he could not feel it. It was almost like the haze of insanity was clouding his mind and suffocating him. The power was overwhelming but it wasn't chakra. As he was searching Naruto still lay on the ground, bleeding and unable to move. Sakura, who had enabled a defensive genjutsu to protect her and an unconscious Naruto, was also sensing the ominous presence. The hairs on the back of her neck were standing up on end and her emerald eyes were wide open with fear as she frantically searched, trying to see through the fog that was clouding her vision. She was terrified and for reasons all the rest of the team were on guard, no chakra. They all knew it was an ambush but by who? There was not a trace of foreign chakra so what in the world was going on? As Sakura hovered over a wounded Naruto, she noticed the shuriken had hit pressure points on his back, putting him into a temporary coma.

 

 

Only a well trained medic nin or an ANBU could do such a thing. Who were these nin? These questions were soon answered as the three conscious members of team 7 noticed a shadow moving along the ground, and it was headed straight for Sakura. But she had enabled an extremely advanced genjutsu, how could they see right through it? She couldn't breathe and her mind and body froze with fear and pure terror. Trembling with tears flowing from her eyes she saw it- the shadow taking shape as it rose of the ground before her into the now dense fog. It was…it was…a demon?!

 

 

That was impossible for all the most powerful demons where sealed away in vessels, one of which, Sakura was right next to. Kakashi saw the shadow demon rising off the ground so he took action. Performing a few complex hand signs a bright light began to emanate from his right hand. It was glowing! He was using the lightning blade technique they had only seen once before! The power was awesome as it resonated throughout the forest. Striking with a force only known to the gods, a strong lash of energy racked the earth beneath the team, knocking Sakura onto her back. Sasuke, however, barely managed to cling to the tree he was in with a chakra control technique. A thick cloud of dust rose from the area mixing in and creating a thick smog, but when it cleared, nothing had happened for the exception of a large crater in the ground. Finally as the last of the dust cleared, there was silence. An eerie silence, then laughing. It echoed around them, encircling the clearing, camouflaging the female nin who was hidden somewhere around them. They couldn't tell where it originated from until the source exposed herself. It was a ….girl?!

She was tall and slender with long graceful legs exposed under a flowing white garment. Her legs were enveloped in vine-like tattoos that encircled the entire length of them. She was clothed in what appeared to be a spirit's cloak, like the one's you see in a shrines legend. It wrapped itself tight around her waist and breasts and flowed down below her feet, which rested on a pedestal made of flowers. On part of her neck and chest, there was a seal of an unknown language written in dark green ink accented with woodland designs. Most were covered by her long, wavy, dark auburn hair which flowed as long as her robes and framed her face. She looked nothing like a ninja as Sakura looked her straight in her light jade eyes. She was too…pretty. As Sakura stared at her, Sasuke jumped out with a large kunai aimed directly towards the woman. Before Sakura could tell him to stop, though, he hit some sort of barrier made of wood vines. He ricocheted off the barrier to land kneeling on his legs, however, without the kunai for it had been lodged in the barrier. Kakashi, though, was still well hidden in the shadows, most likely using the head hunter jutsu.

 

 

Sasuke attempted to get up but then realized he was shackled down by something. Vines had wrapped themselves around his ankles and where growing up his legs, swallowing up his form. Just what kind of jutsu was this? He tried to grab another kunai from his pouch but was again confronted with more vines striving to devour him but, they stopped. Then the woman spoke. “What business do you have here ninja? I forbid you from going any further unless you explain what your reasons are for being here” she said in a stern, lingering voice. Kakashi then revealed himself from the earth beneath, making the woman's emotionless face flinch. “We are ninja from Konoha, sent here by the Godaime Hokage herself, Lady Tsunade to protect the Village Hidden in the Fog's Princess, Satsuka.” He said to her bowing before her, one hand to his chest the other to his back. She looked at him with satisfied eyes, a small smile crossing her face as the other members of team 7 gazed at her. Naruto was finally starting to wake up as Sasuke approached Sakura with a worried look on his face. The woman looked at them and said “I see” as she closed her eyes. Then a wind began to blow and formed a small twister around her, leaves concealing her from their eyes.

 

 

As the leaves fell their eyes opened wide to see the woman that was once there had changed into a girl within the teams age. Her hair was also brown, but straight and shorter than the previous image. And those markings, they were all gone. The girl opened her eyes and they were not light piercing green but chocolate brown. Lastly, she no longer possessed those celestial garments like before, instead a practical kunoichi armorment complete with steel gauntlets and a steel breastplate. “What the…? Kakashi-sensei, who is she? What is she?” Sakura asked clearly confused as to what was going on. Kakashi gave the typical anime eye as he lowered his forehead protector over his mismatched eye and said “Why don't you ask her, Sakura?” Sakura's gaze returned over to the kunoichi in front of her and asked her as Kakashi had suggested. Sasuke simply sat there, waiting for her reply with a serious look on his face, typical Sasuke. The girl smiled, taking a few steps towards them, and said rather militantly “I'm Satsuka Chihari, Princess of the Chihari royal bloodline and heir to the throne. I welcome you graciously to the Village hidden in the Fog.” Just then a genjutsu none of the team had noticed was dispelled as she raised her hands and the dense fog quickly dispersed and behind them… was the most amazing sight perched upon the mountain side and cliff- the Village Hidden in the Fog.
