-“What did I say?!”she exclaimed, sitting down beside Sakura. Sakura whipped her eyes and looked at Rikka.

 

-“Rikka, have you ever met my mom?” Rikka thought for a minute.

 

-“I don't think so....I met your dad once before the car accident....” Rikka trailed off, knowing how hard it was on Sakura.

 

-“Well, last night, the hospital called and told me that ,..........my mom has a.......a brain tumor...”Sakura put her head down and started sobbing again. It took a second for the info to sink in. Then Rikka gasped and put her arm around her friend's shoulders.

 

-“Are they gonna operate on it?” Rikka asked softly.

 

-“Yeah, but they need 6,000 bucks before they can start.” Sakura sobbed.

 

-“6,000 dollars?!?!” Rikka exclaimed, sitting up straight. “How the hell are you supposed to get that much money so soon?!”
