Sakura could not concentrate at all at work. She kept zoning out and trying to think of a way to get enough money for her mom's surgery. Finally, Sasuke came over to her cubicle and sat on the chair beside her's. He looked at her before asking:

 

-“Sakura? You've been acting weird today. Is something wrong? You know you can tell me...” He put a caring hand on her shoulder. Sakura slowly turned her head and looked at him.

 

-“My mom.....has a brain tumor and there's (sob)...there's nothing I can do to help!” she sobbed

 

Sasuke took his hand back, shocked. He knew something was bothering her but not something so serious. Sakura then started crying. Sasuke was gonna say something but before he could, he was pulled out of her cubicle, chair and all (the chair's on wheels).

 

-“What do you think you're doing!?” Rikka angrily whispered to him.

 

-“I didn't know! I just wanted to know why she's been sulking all day!”

 

-“Well now that you know can you just leave her alone to think?!” Rikka whispered. Sasuke nodded and looked over to where Sakura was sitting. She was banging her head against her desk. Sasuke looked back at Rikka.

 

-“Is there anything I can do to help her out?” Sasuke whispered softly.

 

-“I honestly don't know.” Rikka sighed. “I don't even know what I can do to help...”

 

-“Okay. When she's feeling better, tell her I'm sorry.” Sasuke whispered and went back to his own cubicle.

 

 

 

Later, Sakura was back at her complex, sitting on her couch, counting money on her coffee table.

 

-“598, 599, 600...” she counted while putting another dollar on the table. “600$ down, 5,400$ to go.” she grumbled miserably. *What do I do now?* she wondered as she slumped back into her chair. *Maybe if I close my eyes, all my problems will just disappear..* she thought. “Yeah right, like that'll ever happen.” she mumbled and closed her eyes. Just then, her doorbell rang. *Go Away!* she mentally screamed and got up to get the door. The doorbell rang again just as she was reaching out for the doorknob. “I'm coming!” she called and opened the door.

 

-“Sakura!” she heard someone say and felt someone hugging her.

 

-“What?” she gasped, having no idea what was going on.

 

-“Sasuke told me about your mom....” he whispered in her ear.

 

-“Naruto?” Sakura said softly, starting to blush. Naruto let go of her and looked into her eyes.

 

-“Are you okay?” he asked worriedly.

 

*Why do I feel so good when Naruto's around?* “I'm fine” she said softly

 

-“Really? `Cuz you know you can tell me anything, right?” he asked putting a hand on one of her shoulders. Sakura put his words into consideration and started to cry softly.

 

-“Oh Naruto!” she cried and lunged forward, giving him a hug. “I just don't know what to do!” she cried into his chest. Naruto was sorta shocked. She seemed fine a second ago and now she was having a total meltdown. Naruto hugged her back.

 

-“It's okay. Common', let's go sit down and you can tell me everything.” he said softly.

 

-“Kay”she said and let him go. *Why did I hug him like that? And why did I enjoy it so much?* she wondered as she walked to her living room, Naruto close behind.
