Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Love ❯ cave ( Chapter 9 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.
--Normal POV--
I looked around. Maybe no one heard me. 'That was some freaky dream.' I don't even want to think about it anymore. How could no one hear me? I said that pretty loud. I never curse. 'Well at least not aloud.'
“Did you have a bad dream?” A voice to my right said. I jumped.
“I take that as a yes.” He said sarcastically. I turned around. A smirk was on Sasuke's face but he did look concerned.
“A creepy and hopefully untrue nightmare.” I said quietly.
“That bad, huh?” I nodded. Snore. Burp. Snore. Snore. I looked around again. A look of distaste appeared on my face. Naruto was the owner of the sound effects.
“What was it about?” Sasuke asked. My attention turned back to him.
“Sakura...Naruto....Neji....and....you.” I slowly said.
“What happened?” Sasuke asked. A unnoticed tear slide down my cheek.
“I came back from a long term mission. Sakura was 8 months pregnant with....your child. She said that you and her were married. My body like stopped functioning. I didn't know what was happening to me. Then I saw...you. You didn't look that much different just your hair was longer. That thing that was the saddest was...what you said to me.” I said. Sasuke frowned when I mentioned about Sakura and him being together.
“What...what did I say?” He cautiously asked. Almost like he didn't want to know.
“Horrible things...like that you didn't love me.” I whispered. He moved closer and gave me a hug.
“I hope you don't think thats true. I would never say something like that.” Sasuke said.
--Sakura POV--
Sasuke still doesn't want me. I try and try. But it doesn't work. I'm starting to get a little mad with him. Of course I don't show it. The whole thing is Hinata's fault. If she wasn't his friend, I bet with could be together by now. I use Naruto until Sasuke comes around. Then I'll drop him like a hot potato. I have to admit, Naruto is good. But I bet Sasuke is better. I almost fainted imagining Sasuke and me. Good thing I didn't because I got to hear his conversation.
“You know I love you. And I never would end up with Sakura. Tch. I rather kill her.” He said to Hinata. Damn her. She has Sasuke wrapped around her finger. I guess its also my fault. I shouldn't have took Naruto away from her. Now she turns to Sasuke. Stupid move. But in the end, I will be the prevail. Shit. I'm doubting myself.
“I will prevail!” I said. Now I feel better. I have more faith in myself and of course Sasuke.
“Prove it.” She said. Then Hinata started looking around. I hid under my covers. I'm such a idiot. I said that out loud.
“How?” He asked.
“I don't know. Just do it.” Hinata said. What are they talking about at...2 in the morning? Whatever. It isn't important. I'll interrupt their little discussion and invite myself. I walked over to Sasuke's sleeping bag, pushed Hinata out the way, and sat in Sasuke's lap.
“Hi Sasuke-kun! Its late ,but it doesn't matter as long as I get to see you.” I said rather loud.
“Get. Out. Of. My. Lap. Now.” He said. Hinata frowned at me. I stuck my tongue out.
“Sasuke-kun, its okay. You can admit your love for me because I love you, too!” I said. Then out of nowhere, he pushed me out of his lap.
“Shut up....I thought you loved Naruto.” He said. I frowned. Noises are being made in the cave.
“I love you. I don't love Naruto.” I said truthfully.
“Say the last part louder.” He demanded.
“I don't love Naruto!” I yelled.
“Now do you want me, Sasuke-kun?” I asked excitedly. A big smile appeared on my face. 'I have a chance! Say yes, say yes!'
“Sakura...how could you?” Naruto asked. My smile turned into a fake smile.
“W-what are you talking about?” I said in a my “you're crazy” voice.
“I...just heard you. You said I don't love Naruto. How could you? Sakura, you always said you loved me. Are you saying it was a lie? So you're still in love with Sasuke? And you say, Hinata is trying to seduce Sasuke.” Naruto said angrily. I sat there trying to look innocent. Maybe he'll go easy on me. No he didn't. He left in a rush. I didn't even get to deny his accusations again. Oh well. Thats a lost cause. But as long as Sasuke is faithful to me.
“I did what you said. Will yo-” I started to say.
“No.” He said and actually pushed me on his sleeping bag. My mouth was wide open. I gave up Naruto's loving for a big fat no. This is wrong. I deserve to have someone that loves me back. Shit. I need to make a plan.
---Kakashi POV---
This kids to know how to shut the hell up. Its talk this and talk that. I'm trying to read some good porn in peace. But no, Hinata and Sasuke has to whisper. Then good for nothing Sakura has to bother the two lovers. Well at least thats what Sasuke wants. Naruto just ran out of the cave because of what Sakura said. Is he really that blind? Couldn't he see Sakura's devious ways? I could even tell that. And I be busy reading my educational books. I wish Sakura can just get a life and stay out of peoples' lives. Naruto should have figured out who Sasuke liked months ago. When he started dating Hinata and the same time Sasuke became slightly depressed. We should be getting some sleep.
“Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura. Go to sleep. Its 3 am and I'm waking you guys at 7 am. 'Night.” I informed them.
“Time to wake up!” I said.
“Shit. I'm tired.” Sasuke complained. Sakura glanced at him and then starting looking around.
“Hey sensei, where's Naruto?” She asked.
“I don't know.” I responded. Sakura went outside to look. Gaara stood there glaring at everyone except Hinata.
“Sasuke, prove it.” Hinata demanded.
“How? Tell me how.” Sasuke asked.
“You figure it out.” Hinata said. Sasuke sighed.
__Sasuke POV__
Hinata keeps telling me to prove it. I have many ideas to prove that I do indeed love her. Most of them make me blush. The one I'm going to use will work. Hopefully. As long as she doesn't hate it.
“Here's Naruto.” She said. Behind her stood a tired unhappy looking pissed off Naruto.
“Good morning, Mr. Uzumaki.” Kakashi said with that stupid grin on his face.
“I hate you.” My unhappy teammate said.
“So...how are you Naruto?” Sakura asked using her cheerful annoying voice. Naruto glared at her.
“So are you ready, kiddies?” Kakashi asked. Yes that grin is still on his face. No answered. So we packed everything up and left the cave.
“Sasuke....prove....it...please.” She said.
“Okay. Drop your stuff.” I said. She followed my directions. I pulled her close to me, leaned in, and put my lips on hers.
