Chapter two:14 to 15 years later, a brand new friendly face in the leaf

~14 to 15 years later~

"What do you mean you don't want to challenge me again!? What are you chicken or something Uchihia!!!!"

Everyone covered their ears as 14 year old Naruto Uzumaki shouted out in his arch rival’s ear, 15 year old Sasuke Uchiha. He and their friends were at the Training grounds in the Village hidden in the leaves to enjoy another warm and peaceful day just like everyone else here.

"Naruto, will please shut up and sit back down? I told you before. Unless you get better than me...there is no way you're going to beat me in a fight."Sasuke said, looking irritated at how Naruto acts. Naruto glared right back at sasuke's face and the two had a long angry stair down. Sakura Haruno sighed as she got up to walk over to them.

"Come on guys, we are suppose to enjoy this day. Not start fights again like you would normally do."She said to the two, getting a nod from Ino Yamanaka, Hinata hyuga, and Tenten that was there as well. Sasuke and Naruto looked at each other for a little longer then looked away with their arms crossed over their chests.

"I don't get why you and Sasuke always have to start things, even on this calm day."Neji hyuga said, glaring at the two annoyed. Mostly, he hated it when they always start something and that also involves pointless fighting or arguing.

'You don't know him like I do, Neji! If you had to keep hearing stupid fighting request each and every day, Then maybe you might get why I hate him doing that kind of stupid crap."Sasuke said, looking over at the Hyuga that looked like he didn't care and he really didn't.

"Guys...p..please don't be angry with each other. I mean, naruto is just trying t..to prove his str..Strength to everyone. Is that a b...bad thing?"Hinata asked, a light pink blush appearing a little on her face to hear some of the girl giggling at that.

"See? At least hinata is alright with me doing what I have to do to get strong."Naruto said, smiling while seeing sasuke ignoring him as usual.

"Anyway, what else can we all do today? There is nothing much to do except hear from the two arguing once more which is getting annoying."Sasuke said, ignoring naruto that was still trying to get him to get another challenge from him again. Before anyone could say, Kiba Inuzuka came over tried and out of breath from running so far. Akamaru shook his head but was right next to him.

"Guys, guys! Guess what?"Kiba said, looking at the group that looked confused at him. Kiba blinked once then sighed, shaking his head with his hand on his head.

"You mean you guys don't know about today? It's something very cool and junk! Mostly, everyone knows about-"

"Kiba, just stop and tell us. You’re not making any sense."Naruto said, looking at him while the other guys had the same answer.

"Oh, right. Well, today I just went to talk to someone others and someone told me that this new ninja's coming to the leaf village today."

Everyone looked quiet at the news and before someone could speak, sasuke did it first.
"Let me get this straight; you came all this way just to tell us someone new is coming to live here. That's not really big like news you know, dog boy."He said, looking bored at him.

"Hey! I'm not dog boy and I knew you wouldn't care if this she was coming to live here. Besides, I'm just spreading the news around."

"So, this is a girl that's coming to live here? Do you know if she's shy or anything?"Sakura said excited and the same for the other girls as well. The guys looked at them then at sasuke, which looked even more irritated. Mostly, female ninjas in the leaf or some of them would act like fan girls to him and he's just thinking this one will be the same.

"So, when is she going to arrive?"Hinata asked her teammate, looking at him with a small smile. Kiba looked at her then thought about that.

"I think she's on her way here already. So, this girl should be here in a little while so you all will get a chance to meet her."He told her, seeing the girls’ getting more excited that was enough for sasuke. He got up, glaring at the others with a mad look on his face.

"Guys, give it a rest. I mean, sure this is a new girl that's coming to the leaf so what?!? That is how others would react and stuff. It's just annoying!"He shouted out, seeing the rest looking at him like he would always spoil the good moments and just spoiled this one.

"Sasuke, it's not nice to talk about new a person that comes to live here. We want to make this a good impression for this girl. Not to make her think this is a terrible mean place to come to."Sakura said, looking at him. Sasuke sighed, rubbing the back of his head.

"Whatever, Sakura cuz I really don't care about all of this anyway. So, you know what? You guys can go and say hi to this girl whenever she comes. I, on the other hand, is going home for a bit and coming back out for some training."He said, looking at the others. Before he could leave the area, he turned around and bumped into another person.

Both him and the other landed on the ground at the same time to make the others look quiet then laugh a little bit to see how funny it was. Sasuke quickly sat up but he was mad that this person wasn't looking where they were going and got him knocked down into the ground as well.

"HEY! Will you watch where you’re going! You are lucky I'm not in the mood to punish you for doing this to me whoever you are!"He shouted out, seeing the guys going to him while the girls did the same to see if sasuke was alright.

"Ouch..t….that hurt...I knew r..rushing was a b..bad idea..also...I...I'm so sorry about knocking you down. I was..wasn't looking where I was going..."Said a soft and shy quiet voice in front of him, sounding like a female. Sasuke and the guys stopped doing what they were doing then slowly looked in front of them and was shocked. Right in front of them was indeed a girl that sasuke must have bumped into before he could leave but it seemed she looked rather cute for herself or somehow lost in the leaf. This girl had dark black eyes, long silky black hair that was long enough to reach her lower back and tied into a high ponytail with a light blue piece of string with a special yin/yang rose hairclip at where the string was. She also had another one but that one was silver and on the side of her head. Her skin was a milky honey like color but a bit pale that also made her glow a little bit from the sun with light pink color cheeks and the same for her lips that almost looked like any guy would want to kiss her at any time.

This girl also seemed to like the color blue dew to wearing a blue top shirt and bottom and some black shorts that was long enough to go down to her knees. Elbow sleeves that were also blue like the rest of her outfit and black sandals to finish it off. She also had two bracelets on each of her wrists with a white pearl on one and a black one on the other one and the same for her ankles. Lastly, she wore a special yin/yang necklace with a rose outprint in the middle of it that shined from the sunlight around her neck. Mostly, the guys were speechless when they looked at her, even sasuke was shocked to see this girl but Neji was even more shocked see her. As for the girls, they quickly went to check on the girl to see if she was alright and she was while getting up and brushing the dirt off her clothes.

"Are you sure you’re alright? Our friend didn't mean to bump into you even if he's in one of his moods again."Sakura said, looking at the girl while the others around her kept quiet while looking at her. The girl looked back at sakura then gently smiled a bit.

"I...I'm fine. It was my fault that I wasn't looking where I was going but I hope your friend is alright and will forgive me for knocking into him."She said, bowing a bit to show them she was sorry. The guys looked at her then they looked at Sasuke that was still speechless but shook his head to come back to reality.

"Uh, whatever. Just make sure you look out where your going next time."He said, looking at her and she nods quickly while looking at him for a second.

"Thank you very much for accepting my sorry. Also, I'm kind of in a little rush and well I kinda got lost when I was doing that. Silly, huh?"She said, looking at him. The girls looked quiet at her then Ino figured it out and looked at her.

"Hold on a second, I have a question for you really quick. If you got lost or just in a big rush, does that mean you just arrive here in the leaf?

"Well, yeah. I'm moving here in the leaf village today since I left my old hometown and they told me about this palace so I decided to come and live here."She said, looking at ino happily. Everyone looked quiet while looking at each other then slowly back at the unknown girl in front of them and that's when it hit them. This has to be the new girl that kiba was talking about today. Everyone kept looking at the girl, seeing her looking confused about why they were just staring at her without saying anything.

"Um....are all of you alright? It's like your j...just lost in t..thought or something."She said, looking at them with a confused look on her face. Quickly, the girls and guys nods and Sakura walked over to her and grabbed her hand to shake it that got her even more confused of the group. When Sakura kept shaking it for a few more seconds, she lets go to look at her.

"Naw, all of us are fine. We’re just happy to meet a new face in the hidden leaf village. We mostly would get lots of new people to live here and you’re the new one for the day."

"Okay, I think? It's very nice to meet new faces here but I'm still getting used to this place."She said, looking at Sakura with a little shy look on her face. This girl has a big shy problem when it comes to big crowds and some were doing their best to help her get used to that and it's improved over the years.

"Oh, don't worry. If you like, me and my friends can help you get used to the hidden leaf village and you will know everything you want to know."She said while looking at the girl. She looked quiet then slowly smiled happily.

"You will? Oh, thank you! I'm very grateful that you would help me cuz I've been getting lost around this place for some time now."She said, hugging her really quickly then let’s go.

"You’re welcome. By the way, we never told you who we all are. I'm Sakura haruno and these are my friends. The one with her hair in two buns is Tenten. She's mostly the best target hitter and never misses a target."She said, seeing Tenten waving happily to the girl.

"Alright, next one is named Hinata hyuga. She's mostly shy all the time but also a brave girl to try her best at something she wants to learn."She said, seeing hinata walking over and shook hands with the girl with a happy smile and a saying of 'hope you love it here' then let’s go of her hand.

"Right. Next is my friend and arch rival Ino yamanaka but she's still a Ino-pig to me."She said, glaring at Ino now and she did the same thing.

"Didn't I tell you not to call me that, forehead girl!! You’re lucky I'm In a good mood today or you would have been asking for it!"She shouted out, seeing sakura giving her a stair down again and both got into it again. The girl giggled while thinking it was funny then looked right back at Sakura once more. The guys looked at the two still then saw Naruto walking over to the girl, grabbing her hand and shaking it.

"While they are busy, we can introduce ourselves now. I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm trying to do what I can for my friends here and still trying to finish my dream and becoming the next hokage for the village hidden in the leaves. Believe it!"

"Wow, sounds like you sure a..are all excited to do what you can to get t..to that goal. So, I w..wish you good luck on that."She said, smiling right back at Naruto. He backed off so the next one could go and say hi to her.

"Hello there! The Names rock lee and it's very youthful to meet a new face today."He said, doing a nice guy pose and saw the girl smile right back at him.

"It's great to meet you, lee. Also, thanks again for the big thanks or the big welcome."

Lee nods to show her his thanks and moves back so the others could say hi to her. Kiba went up next with Akamaru next to him.

"Hi. The names Kiba Inuzuka and this is my partner and pal Akamaru. We both hope you enjoy living here."He said, holding a hand out to her, seeing her taking it and shaking it.

"Thank you, Kiba and Akamaru."She said to the two, smiling again at them and reaches to pet Akamaru on his head. He lowered his head to let her pet him and she could feel how soft his fun was. That mostly told her that Kiba was a very good owner for his awesome friend and pet. The two nods and backs off so now they saw Neji sasuke the last ones to say hi to her. Sasuke decided to go next and looked at the girl right in her eyes.

"It's nice to meet you. The names Sasuke Uchiha and as you can see...I'm mostly doing what I can to live out my ninja dream and.......to also defeat the one I hate the most for what he has done in the past but I need to get stronger to do such a thing."He said, looking at the girl to see her a bit nervous around what he had just said to her. Neji sighed while shaking his head then went to say his hi to the girl while sasuke turned to leave or move for him.

Neji looked at the girl then she did the same for him as well.
"Hello, the names Neji hyuga and it's very sweet to meet you. Also, I hope you will enjoy living here in the village and would mostly have fun."He said, looking at her once more to see her. The girl looked at everyone; still being happy and friendly about this cuz most would play a prank on her due to a few guys that's still no good luck.

"It's very nice to meet you and the rest of your friends. I Hope we all can be great friends from here on out."She said, bowing once more to them. The rest of the others were glad they could tell the girl some nice hello's and intros That's when most of them looked into the sky to show a bright light blue color that even made the girl looked up as well. She could see why they wanted her to come live here cuz of the peace and quiet and that worked for her anytime. After some time, the girl sighed then looked at the others since she was a bit tired from running around the whole place dew to her being late trying to find her way.

"Anyway, I think I have to be going now. I have to find the hokage tower and tell Um...I think her name was Lady Tsuande about my arrival but I don't want to get lost again."She said, looking worried while looking at her new friends. Sakura and the girls looked at each other then looked back at her with a smile on their faces.

"Don't worry. We know where that is and if you like, we can take you there."Sakura said, seeing the girl's mood change from worried to happy.

"Thank you once more, Sakura. That would be very nice for you to do and helpful for me too."

"No problem. Oh, by the way. Before we leave, we didn't catch your name so can you tell us who you are?"She asked her, seeing the girl looking quiet then looked at Sakura happy.

"Well, if you want to know...My name is Melli rose."

"Rose? Is that your last name? It sounds very pretty to be a last name."Ino said, knowing how it is with flowers since she and her father runs a flower shop here in the leaf.

"Well, that is true but this isn't my last name. Rose is my middle name."She told her, seeing Ino looking confused at this.

"Hold on. How could rose is your middle name and not your last name?"Tenten asked, looking at the girl confused. She looked at Tenten but slowly sighed, rubbing the back of her head.

"Cuz....I don't know my last name. Mostly, I don't remember anything of my last name and I'm hoping to find out how I can know."She said, looking at the others sadly while, for the first time, Neji went over to the girl and places and gentle hand on her shoulder.

"You shouldn't worry. I'm sure you will find out about your last name sooner or later."He told her, seeing the tears falling from her face a bit. The other girls looked at the girl, seeing her small tears falling down her cheeks and she noticed them staring at her so she wiped them away.

"Thanks, if it's not too much trouble. Could you help me find Lady tsuande's place or the hokage tower?"She asked nicely, looking at the group. Everyone smiles then they lead their new friend Melli to the hokage tower to see Lady Tsuande but mostly, they were hoping to know more of this girl and to show her that living here was going to be alright. As they were walking to the Hokage tower, Melli looked quiet as she took her gaze up into the sky, messing with her necklace around her neck.

‘I really hope I get used to living here…….and to mostly make as many friends as possible. Also, if I’m lucky…maybe they can help me solve this mystery of my past…and to find out more about me…’

With that in her mind, she really had her hopes us for this as she followed after Naruto and his friends to see the hokage. Also, to hope of doing what she dreams while living in her new home.

Lucy: Wow, that’s a lot of typing huh coolcat?
Me: I’m still mad at you for scaring us!
Lucy: What? It was funny to me!
Flow: You think scaring people is always funny to you
Melli: *still knocked out*
Flow: *sighs*Anyway, that’s the end for this chapter and in the next one, the others take their new friend to see Lady Tsuande…
Lucy: But, what other things will happen?Me: You have to come back for the third chapter to find out!
Flow/lucy: So see you all In the next chapter! Bye bye ^_^
