me:Huh? Oh, yeah that's right. Anyway, flow? Shall you do the honors?

Chapter Three:Being welcome into a new home, Naruto's new challanger, A unknown memory

It was a few minutes when the others found their new friend melli rose and now was inside of the hokage tower talking with the leaf hokage, Lady Tsuande. She already knew of melli's arrival and was waiting to see when she would arrive.

"So, you actually came. I'm glad the others back at your hometown told me of this ahead of time. I hope you enjoy your new home."Tsuande said, smiling at melli. She bows in respect but thanked her for the welcome.

"Thank you again, Hokage. It was thanks to my new friends that helped me a bit. I keep getting lost in this place for some time now."Melli said, lightly blushing but Tsuande laughed a bit, waving her hand a bit.

"No, no. Most new commers would do that so it's alright. Anyway, I was able to find you a house for you so you should go and see it when your done here. By the way, do you have the info that you were given when you left?"She asked.

Melli looked confused as to what she was saying till she remembered. Quickly reaching into her bag, she pulled out a scroll that was tied up and sealed up with a speical tag that was for hokage's eyes only. Naruto and the others were quiet but wondering about that. Shizune looked at it while Tsuande relased the seal on the scrool and opened it to read for a quiet second.

"Hey, grandma, what is that anyway? Something cool and exciting?"Naruto asked, thinking it was a mission of top secret. Tsuande sighed but looked at him for a quick second.

"No, and stop asking me that naruto. You know you and the others are doing d or c rank missions for now. Also, this is not a mission but something else."She said, going back to reading.

"Awww, I was hoping it was a mission. Me or the others haven't did anything so far but wait for new ones to come in."he said, whinning while hearing the others sigh behind him, shaking their heads to think naruto is such a moron at times. Melli looked confused but giggled to think it was a bit funny.

"Anyway, this is something else but it's good for now since this is your infomation. Thank you melli and I hope you enjoy your new home."

"Thank you and i hope I do. I just hope ot make lots of friends and such but I'll see how that goes for me."Melli said, bowing quickly but strightend up to smile. Tsuande smiled back but said the group could leave and show melli around the hidden leaf village for a while. When they were gone, Shizune looked at the scroll then at Lady Tsuande.

"Um, do you really think she will get used to this?"She asked, looking at her. Tsuande sighed but nods while looking at the scroll.

"Yes, I think so. Melli is mostly still getting used to her new home so I'm hoping she will do alright..and the same for anything else that could appear for this is just the beginning."

Shizune looked quiet but never questioned her about it so the two went on doing their usuall things. Meanwhile, Naruto and the others were at the training grounds while trying to get used to their new friend melli. She was enjoying the leaf so far and hoped to make lots and lots of friends here.

"So, can you tell us some things about yourself melli?"Ino asked her with a smile on her face. Melli looked quiet then thought for a bit.

"Well, I like making friends, training, proving to others I'm not weak, um...making sweets and cooking, cleaning, and some other things."She said, looking at ino. The guys were stairing at her while the girls were nodding as if they were getting interested to know more of her.

"Okay, so she can do much but I'm more interested in your training. Your a kunoichi?"Sasuke asked, smiling at her while the other guys looked confused. Melli kept quiet but sighed as she looked at him.

"I'm mostly a ninja but still in training. I'm going to do what I can to do more and get stronger."She said, smiling happily while sasuke sighed, looking at her face and her cute expression but it's not everyday you would see him like this. After a little talk, everyone was just relaxing for the rest of the day but naruto got bored, of course and asked sasuke once more for a rematch.

"Oh, come on. Why not?!?"He said or whined while looking at sasuke. He ignored him but kept sitting near the tree. The others kept quiet but melli was confused at why he kept asking sasuke to challange him again and again.

"I told you, everytime you challange me your just going to lose so stop bugging me! Why don't you find a new challanger to fight or challange and leave me alone!?"Sasuke shouted at him, seeing him putting his hands over his ears dew to his shouting.

"*Sighs* Fine! I'll try to find another to challange and I'm sure they will be more better than you will ever be! Believe it!"

"Whatever, dobe. Just do that and leave me alone."Sasuke said, getting up and jumping into the tree to relax after that. Naruto did get mad but decided to ignore it and look at the others that was relaxing.

"Hey, guys? Can you of you fight or challange me since mr. smarty pants dosen't want to fight me again."He asked with a calm happy smile but saw the others looking at him quietly but didnt' respond to him. Naruto looked from happy then sad as he saw them not answering him.

"Oh, come on! Please!!! One of you guys has to challange me."He said, looking at his friends while hearing sasuke smirk in the tree to see how dumb naruto looked like this but he would get to that later. Sakura sighed but looked at him with a calm but bored expression.

"Naruto, you already fought all of us and mostly lost and won. You even said we could get a break from that for a while."She said, looking at his blue eyes but he was more dissapointed.

"But sakura, how am I going to be or get stronger each day? I mean, I do train and such but I like having a challanger to face most of the time. So, can't you or the others fight me for today please?"

"Sorry naruto but you said what you said and that's it."Ino said, looking at him then she saw naruto sitting on the group, arms folded across his chest and legs crossed but he looked away from them with a grumpy look on his face. The others sighed but shook their heads as they saw this but melli looked kinda sad for him.

"Um...Naruto right? If it's okay, I could challange you if you like."Melli spoke that got everyone, including sasuke, looking right at her with a suprised expression. As for naruto he was so excited that he looked at melli as if he would kiss her.

"Really?!? You will challange me?"He asked her with a smile. Melli looked quiet but smiled while nodding her head.

"Sure. If you want to."She said. Naruto quickly got up and helped melli up but gave her a small hug of being friends or of her being nice to do this.

"Thanks Melli! You won't regret this! Now, you ready to challange Naruto Uzumaki, the greatest ninja in the leaf village?"He asked, doing a thumbs up and smiled. Melli giggled but moved back while getting in a fighting stance.

"You got it. Let's give it all our best, Naruto."

With a nod, naruto and melli staired at each other with confidence while the rest were watching to see how this was going to trun out. After waiting, both naruto and melli ran at each other and their sparing match began with some quick hand to hand combat. Everyone watched as the small sparing match went on, some were cheering and some were wondering how this was going to trun out wiht naruto winning or maybe not. Naruto tried to trip up melli or punch her but she kept deflecting his blows and retruned some of her own to see he did the same like she did. Naruto tried to hit her again but she jumped back by doing a backflip and landed back on her feet.

"Wow, your good....even from that."naruto said, getting ready to fight again. Melli smiled but did the same but saw naruto running back at her once more but she did defense this time of blocking all of naruto's blows or attacks he tried to use on her. That suprised him for a quick second but he recovered while jumping back and smiling at her.

"Alright, enough games. lets take this up a level! Shadow clone jutsu!"he shouted, summoning up some clones to surround melli. The others were quiet but wondering what she was going to do and the same for sasuke and neji as well. She stood her ground but kept into her fighting stance.

"Lets see what you do if this happens!"The clones said, charging at melli to attack. Melli didn't move nor said anything but suddenly when a clone tried to hit her, she quickly grabs his hand and kicks him away into a group of clones to make then dissapear in smoke. The clones looked quiet but kept charging at her.

"Hmmm...guess you guys are really serious. Oh, well.."She said, punching and kicking them away while doding and jumping from some that came too close. The guys were shocked seeing this while the girls were cheering for melli to win.

'I think I'm wrong about this melli girl. She's not so bad.......and the best part is that she's not a fangirl....'Sasuke thought as he was watching the fight with naruto vs. melli. So far in a few minutes, half of naruto shadow clones were gone and she was not even tired yet.

"Well? How am I doing so far, naruto?"Melli asked out loud, looking at the clones that's still around her. The real naruto didn't say anything but the other clones went to attack her. She just giggled then dissapears to do another attack but before she could, she saw a shadow over her then quickly truns to see a clone kicking her up into the air while a few more came from below to punch her again but higher. The others knew this move, even kiba since naruto hit him with it during the chunin exams.

Finally, the real naruto came in and jumped up that was right above her. She quickly looked at him but got kicked in the back of her head to make her fall into the ground. The real naruto landed but smiled while the clones were watching but cheering to think they won. The guys shook their heads, knowing it was going to end to quick but the girls were a bit worried if melli really did lose.

"Ha, how's that!?"Naruto said, looking at his win and the others. They didn't say anything but was happy for him but was feeling as if this match wasn't over just yet. Naruto just smiled then walked over to melli that was on the ground, seeing her knocked out. Before he could do anything to help her, suddenly melli's body changed into a pile of silver and blue rose petals that shocked naruto and the others too.

"Woah, how did she-"

The other were looking around to see where she went to but she wasn't in sight. Just then, the small pile of the silver and blue rosepetals starts floating up but circling the clones. Naruto was a bit confused while the others were quiet as they watched the whole thing. Before he could react, he saw melli appear right in front of him smiling.

"Melli? What-"

"Sorrie but I think it's my turn."She said, doing quick hand signs then finished it off but looking at naruto. "Ninja art:rosepetal blades!"

Just then, the petals floating around the clones suddenly glowed silver and blue then shot right at them and when they made contact, the rosepetals were sharp as knives that made the clones that got hit dissapear into white smoke. The guys and girls were suprised while sasuke looked shocked. Naruto was quiet but suprised at the same time cuz he didn't know she could do that but she was a kunoichi so why was he asking.

When all the clones were gone, it was just her and the real naruto once more. Melli smiled at him while naruto just shook his head, looking right back at her.

"Okay, that was mostly suprising to me but you won't take me down!"He said, smiling at her while she just giggled at him.

"Well, if you say so naruto uzumaki. I won't back down either. Lets give it all our best."She said, getting into a fighting stance once more. Naruto nods and the two ran at each other to continue their fight. The others kept watching, wondering who was going to win this fight. Back with the hokage, Tsuande was still doing some work or sleeping again dew to drinking some sake once more till Shizune ran running in, slamming the door open and waking her up.

"Lady Tsunade! Why are you sleeping again?!?"She shouted out, seeing her still sleeping anyway. She had a anime sweatdrop behind her head then walked in to try to wake her up so she could continue working again.

'Why is it everytime I leave her alone, she finds someway of drinking more and more sake to put her to sleep?'She thought, still shaking her while looking at the window, seeing birds flying by and the warm sun shining through the window. Shaking her head, she kept shaking Tsuande. Back with the others, it's been about one hour when the fight started, and it shows that melli and naruto are getting tired but not giving up yet.

"*Panting* Wow, your good so far, melli. Not bad."Naruto said, looking at her while she just smiled but tried as well. The others now were more interested to see how this was going to end now. Finally, naruto tried to do a finishing move of the Resengan to end this match but melli smiled more taking the hit. Naruto smiled while looking at her but suddenly it changed to a suprise look as he saw that when he hit melli, she dissapeared into a log doing a substitution jutsu.

"Dang it, where is she?"He asked, looking around from left to right. The others were thinking the same thing and wanted to know where she was too till they saw 5 kunai's come out from the shadows and close to him. Naruto quickly dodges each one but looked around.

"That was close. Nice try melli but your going to have to do better than-"Before he could finish, he felt himself trip right over a wire, wrapping around his ankle and pulling him up into the tree upside down. Everyone looked up to see that then saw naruto laughing a bit while seeing him trying to get down but looked to see melli under him, smiling happy.

"Hey, naruto. How was that?"She giggled, smiling at him.

".....Aw, dang it."

The others quickly ran to naruto and melli, looking up at naruto hanging upside down from the tree but looking down at them.

"Hey, can anyone give me a hand here?"He asked, looking at the group. The girls were giggling while the guys kept quiet till Kiba threw a kunai at the rope, cutting it and seeing naruto falling back to the ground.

"Ah, thanks kiba. Anyway, nice job melli on the sparing match. That was really good."He said with a smile to her but saw melli giggle a bit but smiled too.

"Thanks. I guess everyone had to do what they can to stay on top of their game but hey...I'm still doing that."She said, smiling at him. Everyone kept quiet but laughed at that but decided to get some ramen since they all got hungry once more. Later that evening, all the guys and girls were talking and eating about the fight between melli and naruto.

Naruto was mostly impressed with the fight while melli was happy that she gave it her all but both decided to make it a draw for the day. Neji was speaking with sasuke about the fight but both were wondering of what else this girl can do than just fight. While they were eating, melli was thinking of something that included her past but she didn't know what it meant or was trying to say to her but it kept her guessing anyway.

"Hey, melli? you okay?Sakura asked, looking at her that made melli shake her head.

"Hmmm? Oh, yeah, I'm okay sakura....I'm just thinking."Melli said with a calm smile on her face. Sakura looked quiet at her but at her food to show she didn't eat not one bite yet.

"Well, if your sure..it's just, you didn't eat yet and never touched your food."She said, gently touching melli's back but melli looked at her still calm and happy.

"Trust me, i'm fine. I'm just not that hungry but i'm all good."Melli said, smiling at her to see sakura sigh but have to agree with her and go back to eating her food. Melli kept quiet but looked back at her food, going back into thinking of what she knew but didn't know much and plus, if she did keep this up, the others would get worried and start doing what they can to help her out.

'Oh, what am I doing? I shouldn't be so worried about this but......everytime I try to ignore it, it keeps comming back. Is there more to my past than I thought?'

Shaking her head, melli truns to look at the others still eating and talking but also happy. She would always smile and everything but sometimes her past keeps getting in the way of being happy. Looking at the enterance, she got up that made everyone look at her now.

"Melli? Where are you going?"

"Um, sorry guys. I need to head on home...I'm tired and need to get some sleep for tommorow.."she said with a little smile, truning to head on home. The rest kept quiet but looked as melli left the ramen shop to the outside.

"Hey, guys? Do you think or wonder if there is more to melli that we are not seeing here?"Naruto asked with a confused look on his face. They kept quiet but sighed at the same time, wondering the same thing. As melli was walking home that night, she kept looking at the sky, thinking of these weird memories that flashes through her mind each time she's down.

"I need to know....what do these visions mean? Could anyone help me understand more of my past?"She muttered to herself, walking but looking at the startlight sky but sonner or later, all her questions will be answered because her journey into her past will begin sonner than she thinks.
