Chapter 6: The Tournament!!!!

 

Hokage Tower

 

“Hmm…” Bobby said with a strange tone looking at Naruto's leg.

 

“What?” Naruto said curiously.

 

“I think your bone has been chipped. That could take a while to heal, what were you two doing out there? Jumping into trees?” Bobby said with a sarcastic tone.

 

“Ha…ha…ha.” Naruto said strangely.

 

“By the way, there's a tournament going on in the next few days, perhaps you nin should join? I'm sure you're strong enough.” The Third Hokage said.

 

“Ooh, awesome!” Naruto said trying to stand but merely falling back down when a sharp pain hits his leg.

 

“Don't stand, it's damaged.” Bobby said when a little anger in his tone.

 

“But, the tournament…”

 

“Looks like you and Sasuke have to stay behind then.” Kakashi said just now entering the area.

 

“What…Why do I have to stay…” Sasuke asked.

 

“Because you're the cause of his hurt leg.” Kakashi reasoned.

 

“Ha-ha Sasuke has to stay back, too!” Naruto said cheerfully.

 

“Shut up Dobe.” Sasuke said.

 

“Well then, me and Bobby-kun then Kakashi-sensei?” Sakura said cheerfully.

 

“Bobby, Sakura, AND me.”

 

“…You Kakashi? You're going to fight…?” Bobby asked.

 

“Sure why not? I hear a few of the contenders are pretty good.” Sasuke reasoned.

 

“Whatever you say sensei, whatever you say.”

 

 

Tournament

 

 

“This tournament consists of ten qualifying contestants! Only the best of the best get into this competition! The numbers are chosen at random, deciding the order of the fights on this chart.”

 

A chart showing ten boxes in five assorted five versus five matches each contains a number.

 

“First number…Bobby Kazaku!...Second…” After announcing eight other competitors including one of no name in number seven, “Ten, Sakura Haruno!”

 

Then the battle begins. Bobby easily defeated his first opponent using nothing but a punch and a charging jutsu, which in his case, was essentially enough to kill a normal man, had he not held back.

 

Sakura didn't have any trouble, due to her quest to challenge Bobby in the finals, but it wasn't as easy as Bobby made it seem. Her first match consisted of her charging her chakra to her fist, to replicate Bobby, as missing a fairly strong strike. Her opponent got the upper hand after this strike, and sent a strong kick to her stomach area resulting in her flying nearly out of the Arena Square. Sakura retaliated by charging her opponent and when about to be struck used a replacement jutsu to get behind him sending a blow that knocked her opponent unconscious.

 

The no name also won his match, by merely sending an un-powered kick to his opponents head, essentially knocking him unconscious.

 

“Sakura.” Bobby said from behind a wall when she exited her match. “Good job, I think we may have trouble with that no name character, so, be careful when you fight him. It's time for my match, see you soon.” Bobby said before planting a kiss on Sakura's lips trying not to arouse him much so he could leave A.S.A.P.

 

“Let's get going no-name; I want to see my Bobby-kun as soon as possible.” Sakura said confidently with a smile on her face.

 

“…I doubt you'll be returning with the victory. But, let's go anyway.” No-name said.

 

The battle began. Sakura tried making the first move easily letting her be over powered then jab to the side of her face. Sakura knew this was going to be tough but that blow had done some serious damage. No-name charged at Sakura careful not to let his guard down. When he got as close as possible, Sakura retaliated by sending a kunai past him barely missing his chest. `Violent young lady she is.' No-name thought. After a quick change of pace, Sakura went on the attack again. This time, however, using transportation Jutsu to get behind No-name and sending a roundhouse to his head, making him tilt down. Sakura used this time to sweep his feet, though this was avoided easily, Sakura was able to get another jutsu to move out of the way. `This is taking a lot of chakra, I'd better hurry.' Sakura thought panting. Out of nowhere, No-Name threw a kunai scraping against Sakura's thigh causing her to yelp loudly. No-name used this time to knock Sakura out with an elbow to Sakura's kidney, making her fall to the ground.

 

“The winner is…No-name!” The Announcer said.

 

“She lost.” Bobby said with a smirk. “She's not that bad, so this guy must be tough.”

 

Round Three

 

“Let's get going No-name; I shall be more of a challenge.” Bobby said smirking.

 

“I hope so.” No-name deadpanned.

 

Again I say, the match began. Bobby stood completely still waiting for movement from his opponent. Neither moved before Bobby decided to transport high in the air and for some odd reason using a replacement jutsu. Sensing something was amiss No-name quickly rushed to the opposite end of the arena dragging out his large sword. When he decided to do this Bobby quickly changed his log back into his clone, sending it straight towards No-name. No-name, forced to decide between getting hit or dodging simply dodged it forgetting his clone had a kunai in his hand. The clone threw his kunai towards No-name; he easily blocked this with his sword. When Bobby landed No-name decided to let out his final strike.

 

“Omni slash no Jutsu!” No-name said taking his plan into action.

 

This allowed him to spawn multiple clones, all with a sword as well, to attack Bobby. Needless to say, Bobby was going to feel this tomorrow. First, the original clone charged slashing Bobby; next, the clones circled Bobby while the original followed in the circle. The circled moved round and round every second sending a strike towards Bobby with a different clone, or the real one. This clearly left Bobby horribly marked, obviously loosing. Bobby fell to the ground, clearly fainting from loss of blood, it was a good thing to, and this allowed No-name to stop.

 

“Bobby-kun!” Sakura shouted watching Bobby fall. `Don't die…please…'

 

“He'll be fine, He's particularly strong, had he not held back…” No-name said.

 

“But, he never holds back!”

 

“He did this time.”

 

“…”

 

“See you again…and your friend…too…” was the last they heard of No-name.

 

 

Bobby's Home

 

Bobby awoke, by himself, or so he thought.

 

“What happened…I…lost?” Bobby said.

 

“Yes, but you fought well.” Said a familiar voice.

 

“Sakura…? Why are you in my bed…?”

 

“I was taking care of you; you've been out for two days.”

 

“Oh…Thank you…”

 

“Your welcome!” Sakura said blushingly planting a kiss on Bobby's lips with a little more passion than before.

 

“I should go; I'm probably weak from being in bed all day…” Bobby said plainly.

 

“Ok, but at twelve at night? You're weird.”

 

“It's twelve? Hmmm…maybe tomorrow then.”

 

After a laugh Bobby and Sakura fell asleep forgetting completely that they were sharing their own bed.
