Itachi grinned enjoying her fear to its extremes while Kisame watched confused but still amazed. “Do you want to beg for mercy or do you want to die Yangu Otome?”

 

“I'd rather die than beg for mercy to a man who killed his own clan.” Haoku said her teeth still clenched and her words dripping hateful venom.

 

Itachi chuckled “Big mistake …” He kicked the beck of her knee making her fall right towards the kunai, slicing her neck on the way down to the ground.

 

Eva walked into the room with Hidan ready to begin her training but not ready for the sight she was about to see. “Haoku … what have you done to her?”

 

“She said she'd rather die than beg for mercy … she had the choice.” Itachi said plainly through his cold black eyes.

 

Eva looked down at her cousin ~Haoku … please be ok … please get up …~

 

Haoku laid there her breaths slow and steady but quickly fading all the same.

 

“Get her help you did this to her didn't you?” Eva yelled at Itachi

 

“Yeah … so what?”

 

“You son of a …” Eva mumbled then grabbed Itachi by his neck. “Get her help or I swear you won't live to see tomorrow.

 

“Kisame … get `er off `a me …” Itachi cried his face turning blue

 

“I'll let go if you help her!”

 

“I'm coming …” Kisame said lazily while he smiled to himself ~Who are these girls …~ Kisame grabbed a kicking and screaming Eva off of Itachi's back.

 

“Help her … Hidan don't just stand there do something!” Eva cried trying desperately to break out of Kisame's grip.

 

“Sorry kid … I know when I'm beat.” Hidan said leaning back against the cold concrete wall watching with amusement.

 

Itachi rubbed his neck where Eva had left two small hand prints.

 

“Hahahaha … Itachi these girls just can't seem to keep their hands off of you!” Kisame laughed dropping Eva to the ground.

 

“Kisame … that wasn't even remotely funny …” Itachi said glaring at him.

 

“Na'ane … sick `em!” Eva cried

 

“Do what?” The wolf said confused and looked back at Eva.

 

“Just hurt him …” Eva said annoyed.

 

Na'ane nodded and bounded onto Itachi knocking him over. “You better … you better … uh … Eva what's he supposed to do?”

 

“Help Haoku!”

 

“You better help Haoku or I'll rip your neck to pieces!”

 

“Fine … just let me up!” Itachi yelled suffocating from the wolf's weight.

 

Na'ane did as he said and kept her guard up making sure that Itachi was going to help Haoku.

 

Itachi walked over to her and slowly moved his hand to check the small incision on her neck but before he got there Haoku lashed out and dug her wolf like fangs deep into his skin. “Augghhh … what the …” Itachi cried out in confusion and a little pain.

 

Kisame was now laughing so hard he fell to the ground.

 

Haoku released herself from Itachi's hand spitting. “Yuck … you taste awful … when's the last time you took a bath?”

 

“You little-“

 

“Did you just call me little again?” Haoku said her voice hoarse from yelling

 

“Yep … you have problem with it?”

 

“Yeah … I'M … NOT … LITTLE!” Haoku yelled as loud as she could into Itachi's ear.

 

“…” Itachi held his now bleeding ear.

 

Haoku suddenly went deathly pale then passed out.

 

“Is … is she ok?” Eva asked

 

“Blood loss … she'll be fine if we close the wound and get her to the hospital again … although I'm pretty sure she'll be fine with out the hospital this time …” Itachi said

 

“Hey … it's quiet …” Kisame said randomly

 

Itachi noticed the silence. “That little brat makes too much noise …”

 

Eva gave Itachi a glare before walking back to Hidan, Na'ane following close behind.

 

~Haoku's Dream~

 

“Haoku … can you hear me sweetie?”

 

“Mom?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“How … how is this possible?”

 

“Telekinesis.”

 

“How can you talk to me through time though?”

 

“Don't worry about it Haoku, all that matters is I'm here now …”

 

“Well … I may not be for long …”

 

“What do you mean?”

 

“I was training with my new team mates with out any chakara and …”

 

“And what?”

 

“Well I got cut on my neck … I don't even know where I am right now … or even if I'm dead or alive …”

 

“You're very much alive Haoku other wise I couldn't communicate to you …”

 

“Oh … mom … how are things there?”

 

“There fine … it's none of your concern … for now … get some rest … bye …”

 

“Bye … mom …”

 

 

 

Haoku doesn't seem

To be able to wake up

Did Itachi have intent

To kill or was it an accident?

Will Haoku wake up

Or will she remain in the

deep sleep forever?
