Sasuke and Itachi continue to battle it out Uchiha style but things really begin to heat up with a flash back of Sasuke and Itachi's amazment at Haoku'ds determination and strength.

“Foolish little brother, this girl does not belong to you, she belongs to the Akatsuki … but not for long … if she were to die here …”

“Itachi, why won't you help here, you're just being selfish, if you can't have her than no one can, I'm going to help her because I love her, even if I die trying!” Sasuke yelled still pointing at the unconscious Haoku.

“Sasuke … you don't even know her name.” Itachi said

“Yes I do, her name is Komadori … or Haoku … you're right, I may not know her name but I sure do know that I'm her sensei!” He continued to yell

“That might explain why she's so weak … to have you as her sensei.” Itachi said a sly grin forming over his lips.

“I've had enough of you!” Sasuke yelled doing the hand signs for chidori once more and charging at his brother just as Jiraiya appeared.

Itachi's grin disappeared as he carefully kicked his little brother back across the wall onto the floor where Haoku lay beside him.

Haoku … I promised nothing would ever happen to you … I'm your sensei … I have to protect you … and … you're … you're bleeding because we are tampering with the future because I'm losing … I won't lose. “I won't lose …” Sasuke muttered as he stood up once more.

“It seems to me you are.” Itachi said

I gotta help Sasuke … Naruto thought as he began to charge but Jiraiya held him back.

“There are times Naruto, when a ninja needs to stay and watch and do nothing more or nothing less, Naruto this is one of those times. This is Sasuke's battle.” The wise old sanin said.

“Sasuke … don't just stand down, stand up and fight, your whole life has been based around killing him … and protecting those precious to you, so don't just let this guy waltz in a hurt you and her, FIGHT BACK!!!” Naruto yelled

Naruto … you're such a loser … Sasuke thought with a grin as he stood up again

“Sasuke is going to wipe the floor with you guys, believe it!!!” Naruto yelled

Sasuke smiled and charged Itachi once more. “Itachi I've fostered my hate for you just like you said and now … I WILL KILL YOU!!!”

“Sasuke …” Itachi muttered, not seeing the thirteen year old Chunin charging at him but the nine year old academy student Sasuke. He chuckled to himself. “You don't have nearly enough power …”

~Flash Back~

“I'm sorry Haoku but … but this is where it ends … for me … at least you have great potential … don't let me down.” Her sensei said as he lay on the ground bleeding badly.

“No … sensei, you'll make it, I promise, just like you promised to teach me how to become a ninja.” The little girl sobbed.

“No … no more Haoku … this is where it ends …” The ANBU said with a slight smil.e

“Sensei!!!” The girl cried, tears dripping down off her cheeks onto his as he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep from which he would never emerge. “No … sensei!!! You promised me you'd never leave me!!! I hate you!!! You lied to me!!!” The girl sobbed as she leaned over her bleeding sensei his blood staining her clothes.

Like that it was all over, that was the day Haoku lost her little girl spirit and gained the spirit of a ninja. The little girl clenched her firsts, her knuckles turning a pale white as tears continued to cascade down her cheeks. “I will sensei … I'll become the best ninja ever … I promise …”

~End Flash Back~

Haoku stood up panting and holding the wound. “Get out of here, you're screwing up the future … you're going to kill me … and possible your selves!!!” She mumbled

Itachi was forced to look at her Unbelievable … maybe I was wrong about her … you have proven yourself Haoku … you're stronger than your mother …

“Hey Itachi, heads up!” Kisame yelled nodding towards the charging Sasuke

“Tsukiomi!” He cried his sharingon twisting and swirling the looking deep into Sasuke's eyes.

Sasuke screamed as he envisioned the death of his parents over and over and Haoku felt sicker and sicker by every passing moment that Sasuke was in more pain.

“What are you trying to do, kill me?” She asked weakly still clutching her side, sweat dripping of her brow.

“…” Itachi let up the jutsu

There's no doubt now that guys trying to kill him … Jiraiya thought doing some hand signs and creating the jutsu that was intended to stop the criminals but merely delayed them.

As Itachi and Kisame leapt over the water Itachi looked at the bleeding girl in his hands. I'm sorry … Haoku …
