Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Perfect ❯ The beginning ( Chapter 1 )
[ A - All Readers ]
Well, this is my first fan-fic, so here goes… Hope you like it. The beginning's kind of short…
“Are you in the mood to talk?” A middle-aged-woman asked a girl standing in front of him. The girl looked at her and smiled. “What is it, Kasumi-sensei?” the girl asked. “Well, our team was asked to go to Konoha Village for a festival, so I wonder if you can tell Aki and Takeshi to get ready. We'll leave tomorrow.” Kasumi explained.
“A festival in Konoha Village? What kind of festival is it?” the girl asked again. Kasumi thought for a moment. “I'm not sure, but representatives from all of the villages will be coming. If we don't go, the Sand Village will lose respect or something.” Kasumi replied. She was being her laid back self, and that means she wouldn't care about anything that happens.
“Consider it done.” The girl said as she quickly went to find her other comrades. As she searched around the village, she saw a boy looking at a plant. “Takeshi, there you are.” She followed Takeshi's gaze and looked at the plant curiously. “What's so interesting about that plant?”
Takeshi shook his head. “I was just wondering if plants have feelings… Anyway, what's the matter, Yuki?” he asked. “What do you mean… Oh, never mind. I won't understand anything anyway. Help me find Aki and then I'll tell you what's going on.” Yuki told him. The both of them went to where they know Aki will be… the square. When they reached there, lots of girls were gathered, saying, “There's Aki!”
“How are we going to get to him with all these girls around?” Takeshi asked. All of the girls surrounded Aki. In fact, they won't even realize he's there because he wasn't in their sight. The only reason why they knew Aki was there is that because all of the girls shouting, “Aki! Aki!”
“Ouch!” Yuki groaned as one person knocked her. “Hey, watch it!” she shouted, but nobody heard. Feeling annoyed, she grabbed a whistle that was lying on the floor and blew it… loudly. That certainly stopped the shouting. Aki saw his friends there and went to them. “What's up?” he asked. “Let's just get away from here first.” Takeshi said.
The three of them sat at the bench. Yuki told them everything that Kasumi said to her there. “So, you mean, we have to go there tomorrow?” Aki asked. “Yeah. I don't know when, though. I forgot to ask. I think it's in the morning.” Yuki explained. “Konoha village, huh? Okay, I guess.” Takeshi said.
“Great, so get ready as soon as possible, alright.” Yuki reminded them. “Sure.” They went back to their houses and packed their bags for tomorrow.
“A festival?” Naruto asked Kakashi. He nodded. “So, the Fifth Hokage would like you to make all the guests feel welcomed.” Kakashi explained. “How many people from other villages will be there?” Sakura asked excitedly. “There's just one team from each village. Our team is supposed to be in charge of the team from Sand Village.”
“Really? When will they get here?” Naruto asked. “Anytime tomorrow.” The four of them were practicing near the woods. Naruto and Sakura were pretty excited about the event while Sasuke was just continuing his training. “Do you have any idea who's coming, Kakashi-sensei?” Sakura asked.
“No. Tsunade-sama just told me that they will arrive tomorrow.” Kakashi said. Sakura looked at Sasauke. “Don't you think it will be great, Sasuke-kun?” Sakura asked. Sasuke didn't seem interested so Sakura decided to not speak about it.
“I should've known that you wouldn't be interested in that, Sasuke.” Naruto said sarcastically. “Shut up.” Sasuke replied. “Naruto! It's not that exciting…” Sakura lied. “Sakura-chan…” Kakashi sighed. He just hoped that they won't act like that in front of the guests tomorrow.
