Chapter 6 The Return Home

As the sun was starting the set, Naruto and Rikimaru were in the tree lines building and setting traps and laughing like psychos, Jiraiya and Sasuke were out hunting for something to eat while avoid the two psychos and the rest were setting up camp. They were a day from reaching Konoha since they were traveling at a slow pace as no one wanted to return yet. Each had their own reasons as of why, Naruto due to the villages hatred for him, Tsunade due to her bad memories that resided there, Rikimaru due to him gradually losing faith in his home, Sasuke as he didn't want to be chased around by his fan girls, Jiraiya as he was peeping on Yugito and Haku who were in a stream nearby taking a bath and Yugao as she was currently beating Jiraiya to a pulp.

Once Jiraiya and Sasuke came back with a few rabbits and a deer, everyone was around the fire as chatting away as the meat cooked. "Hey Hebi. Why is it that you could use a moves only the Hyuuga are known for?" asked Yugito in a low tone looking towards Naruto. The only ones able to hear her ask him were Jiraiya, Tsunade and Sasuke. "Because I am a Hyuuga. I'm am also an Uchiha as well." Yugito looked somewhat stunned at that before nodding her head. "That makes sense. It also explains why your eyes seem different. But I heard that any child that was conceived by two different doujutsu holders always died before or a little after birth?" Naruto nodded his head. "That's true. But due to Hachi being sealed inside of me moments after I was born, I was able to survive."

Yugito gave him a slight nod and turned back to the fire before another thought hit here. She turned back to Naruto. "Why didn't you use Hachi's powers when we fought?" Naruto gave a slight shrug in response. "I don't wish to use her powers unless I have no choice. I wish to become strong enough not to use her powers for any battle. As for our fight, I didn't need to. Sure if the Kaiten didn't work, I would have used her power since I could not have one on my own." Yugito blinked at him in amazement then a tick mark appeared on her head and growled at him. "So you're saying your better than me." Naruto raised an eyebrow at her. "Yes. I managed to beat you in a life or death battle without my tenants power."

Her growl turned into a hiss as she looked at Naruto with contempt. "Don't. Remind. Me." She turned away and looked at the fire. 'I will beat you Hebi. Then I can hold it over your head.' "Just drop it kitten. It will be easier in the long run." Yugito mentally hissed at Nibi before attempting to cut the link with her. Nibi stopped it and spoke. "Kitten, I want out for the night." Yugito mentally sighed and poking the fire with a stick. 'Fine. But I'll do it later when no one is watching.' Naruto looked confused at her reaction and shrugged it off. Hachibi sighed at her vessel. "Naruto, remember our deal." Naruto raised his eyebrow. "I already gave you payment for this week.' Hachibi sighed and shook her head. "No. Our arrangement that you'll let me out one every full moon." Naruto thought on it and recalled the deal. 'After dinner, then I will release you.'

After finishing eating everyone but Jiraiya, Rikimaru, Naruto and Yugito went to their tents to sleep. Naruto went into the forest, avoid traps as dinner finished and Yugito did the same but less successfully. Both Rikimaru and Jiraiya rose their eyebrows at this but didn't make anything of it. Rikimaru turned towards Jiraiya. "Ero-otooji." Jiraiya twitched at the name and sighed. "What is it gaki?" Rikimaru smirked slightly at the twitching before sighing himself. "I was wondering if I should teach youfu's(step father) jutsu to my team. I know he left instructions to teach it to Naruto, but I don't want it to be seen as favoritism." Jiraiya winced at that. "I'm not the best to be asking that to." Rikimaru looked confused at him making Jiraiya sigh and look at the fire.

"As you know Minato was my apprentice. I had two other students as well, Fuuma Hikaru from the clan in the Ta no Kuni and Uzumaki Konan. I didn't neglect their training, but I did spend the majority of my time with Minato. They started to resent me for it further when Minato had made Chunin on his first attempt and I began to train him even further and spent even less time training them. As a result when the three of them went out on a C-class mission that ended up a B-class, Hikaru was killed by a nukenin. After that, Konan became more distant. She made chunin on her next attempt and even made jounin before Minato did. A year after she made jounin she abandoned the village and was marked as a A-class nukenin. Shortly after that she had assassinated the Daimyo and managed to hold her ground against Orochimaru. After that she was marked an S-class and hasn't been seen since."

Rikimaru could tell it was bringing up bad memories and was going to let the subject drop when Jiraiya turned towards him. "As for your question, do what you think is right. If you believe they are capable of teaching them his jutsu, then do it. It is your responsibility, no one else." Rikimaru nodded in acknowledgement before staring of at the moon. 'Youku, aneue. What would you two do?' Jiraiya on the other hand was looking in his scope and giggling perversely as he scribbled on his note book. Rikimaru using his eyes checked to see what his foster uncle was laughing at nearly died of blood loss from the nose.

Naruto walked into a clearing with no traps around and was about to go through a set of hand seals when Yugito came tumbling out of the bushes. Both looked at each other for a second before they pointed at each other and yelled. "What are you doing here?!" Both hearing the others question answered. "I'm here to summon Hachibi/Nibi for the night." Both of them blinked for a second and spoke up again. "What?" Both tenants sweat dropped at this and began to pray. "Dear Kami. Please let the similarities stop." Naruto being the first to recover spoke. "Tonight the night when I release Hachi since our deal."

Yugito blinked and spoke to her tenant. 'Did you no about this? Is that why you wanted out tonight?' Nibi rolled her eyes. "Kitten, the bijuu are telepathic. We can speak to each other without anyone else knowing. Why do you think I was telling you to get away from Kyuubi all the time. Now let me out so Hachi and I can get laid... I mean to know each other better." Yugito twitched at this and looked at Naruto. "You know they both want out to screw each other." Naruto didn't even seemed surprised. "I kind of figured that. A large bead of sweat rolled of Naruto's head before he sighed in resignation. "She has a human form." Yugito looked relieved at hearing that. "Oh good. That would have been really weird." Naruto nodded his head in agreement before his head started to hurt like a bitch. "Alright, I'm letting her out." Yugito nodded and both went through the necessary hand seals and bit their thumbs. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu." Two poof of smoke appeared as two women appeared.

Naruto looked towards the second to get a look at Nibi and noticed she had pitched black hair with yellow streaks through it. She had two yellow eyes slanted like that of a cat and had a slitted iris in the middle. Her had creamy color skin and had regal look about her. She wore a white kimono with red lacing and had two black, long sleeved gloves. Nibi looked at Naruto and smirked devilishly. "Yugito, you can go now. I'll be back later." Yugito nodded and walked away. Hachi looked at Naruto before nodding him to go as well, and he did so.

Naruto was sleeping blissfully in his boxers with some drool hanging from his mouth as he was having a dream... well more like remembering. But, all good things must come to an end and this was no exception. A balloon filled with watered smacked his forehead, exploding and drenching him. He jumped up in alert with a kunai in hand only to see Sasuke doing the same as his face was drenched as well. Laughing could be heard from behind them and they turn to see Rikimaru clutching his sides. Both grew tick marks on there heads and were about to attack him when he held up his hand... and started counting down. "5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." Three loud screams came from the girls tent.

Both Naruto and Sasuke rushed outside to see what happens only to find Rikimaru calmly reading his manga as three girls rushed out of they're tents completely drenched, reveal their assets. Rikimaru, Jiraiya and Sasuke went flying back to nose bleeds as Naruto blushed madly at them. 'Damn, I didn't know Sakura was that developed. Haku looks like a goddess and... HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THOSE THINGS! THEY'RE BIGGER THAN HACHI'S!' Hachibi woke up hearing that and looked through Naruto's eyes to see what he was and the bisexual snake flew back to a nose bleed as well. Unable to resist it anymore Naruto flew back like a rocket as blood squirted out of his nose.

After each male received a beat down from Rikimaru's prank, even though each nearly passed out from a nose bleed as they noticed Naruto's size, they went back in their tents and got dressed. Once the battered guys recovered, the two young teens got fully dressed as Jiraiya gave a wad of money to Rikimaru. Yugao who saw the whole thing rushed towards Rikimaru and was about to give him another beat down when she noticed the amount of money that was in Rikimaru's hand. She gawked at him and dropped him before turning to Jiraiya. "How much did you pay him for to do that?" Jiraiya shrugged. "1,000,000 ryo. Pretty cheap seeing as he hates perverts. Though he can't miss the opportunity to pull off a good prank."

Yugao eyes twitched and kicked Jiraiya in the love maker before turning around to Rikimaru and picking him up. "For not beating the shit out of you, give me half." Rikimaru quickly gave her half of the ryo and she let him down and walked away as Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura walked up making Rikimaru smirk. "Now that the prank is behind us. I will be teaching you a jutsu." With that said Rikimaru pulled out a scroll and wiped some of his blood from the beating earlier on it and four water balloons poofed out of it, making all three of their eyes twitch as he handed them one. "Now before you throw them at me, yes these have to deal with the jutsu."

Sasuke blinking in confusion. "Why not just show us and make it easier?" Rikimaru shook his head. "It cannot be copy. The only way to learn it is through the steps I will be teaching you. But I will show it to you to see what jutsu you will be learning. Now watch." Rikimaru out stretched his right hand and something started to form. It started out as a shell of chakra, followed by chakra swirling madly in all direction and finally take the shape of a sphere of spinning blue chakra. "This is one of the Yondaime Hokage's prized jutsu, the Rasengan." Rikimaru turned towards a tree and shoved the ball into it. Pieces of wood started to fly around as it tore into it till it could take it no more and the tree exploded, but still remained standing as it was a wide tree. A hole with a yard radius was left were the Rasengan had torn through it.

All three gawked at a smirking Rikimaru. Rikimaru pulled out his water balloon and put it in his palm. "Now this is the first step to learning it. Using your chakra you're going to spin the water in the balloon around till it pops, like this." Several bulges were seen in the water balloon and were spinning like madly in before it popped. "You will be doing this on our way home. Understood." Each nodded and started swirling their chakra into the ball, trying to get it to pop.

"Damn you! Why won't you pop?! I'm an Uchiha! Pop damn you!" Sasuke screamed at the water balloon making Naruto look at him questionably. "You aren't starting that again are you? I know it's frustrating that it won't pop, but don't revert back into your brooding prick self. The brooding is fine and so was the prick part, but you took it over board." Sasuke shook his head. "I know. But this damn thing is getting on my nerves. You think it would of popped by now!" Sakura nodded in agreement as she had light sheet of sweat on her. "I have to agree. This is difficult as hell and uses up a good amount of chakra. And the fact that none of us have made very much progress with it. Then add in Sasuke going berserk and roasting his first balloon, definitely slowed us down." Sasuke blushed but covered it up quickly and return to his stoic self. "At least I didn't Kaiten the balloon. That was over kill." Sakura smiled and nodded in agreement making Naruto glare at her. "You have no room to smile, Sakura. If I remember you used the Shosen Jutsu and cut the balloon in half."

Jiraiya getting irritated at the three arguing turned to Rikimaru. "Just give them a damn hint already." Rikimaru turned towards him. "And why should I. If I remember it was you that said not to give them any hints and allow them to find out on their own. You dug your own grave. It's only a matter of time before all three team up and make a massive explosion." Jiraiya grumbled. Tsunade looked back at the three and turned towards Jiraiya. "Is it just me, or do they remind you of us at that age." Jiraiya nodded. "They do and their bond is becoming stronger. Let's just hope they don't suffer the same fate as our team did." Tsunade nodded, not wishing that upon them. "POP YOU FUCKING BALLON! SHANNARO!"

Groaning in displeasure, Jiraiya turned back towards them. "You guys want a hint on what you're doing wrong." Sakura stopped going through her hand signs and nodded with the slightly frightened Sasuke and Naruto. "It's simple. You're spinning it in one direction. You need to spin it in all directions, otherwise it will never pop." As realization dawned on them, they did as they were told. Jiraiya nodded and walked up to the other, glad that they shut up. As he reached them, three pops were heard making Jiraiya twitch and Rikimaru smirk. "That's also a reason why I didn't give them a hint. They are natural genius, in one way or another. Give them one hint, and they'll run to Suna with it."

Rikimaru turned towards them as Jiraiya grumbled. "Alright, you passed the first stage in four hours. Not bad, it took me six to do it. Now for the second part." Rikimaru pulled out three rubber balls and handed the two them. "Pop those like you did the water balloons. The stage is the power stage. Sakura, you might want to wait a before trying this so your reserves will recover." They nodded as Rikimaru turned back and walked towards the rest of the group. Yugito walked over to Naruto and pulled him away from his teammates. Naruto looked at her confused, trying to figure out what she wanted.

"Is Hachibi acting weird as well? I've never seen Nibi look so happy before... You don't think they actually had sex." Naruto shrugged his shoulders. "From what I have heard in Hachi's sleep, I say they did." Yugito shuddered as she didn't want to envision that and blushed madly think about her and Nibi doing the same. "Don't worry kitten. A few hours later and more cursing coming from the rasen-trio, they had finally had made it to Konoha. The chunins at the gate nodded at them as they passed by but noticed Yugito and Haku and Anbu jumped down to surround them. Rikimaru and Yugao appeared in front of them. "They are with me, stand down." The Anbu looked at each other as they were considering it. "Stand down. You can't refute my command. I am your captain." Yugao said glaring at them, making the Anbu jump back up on the wall. They sighed and Yugao turned to the two girls. "Stick close to us, otherwise they will imprison you. They nodded and stood next to Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura as they walked with the others.

Both Haku and Yugito noticed the harsh glares thrown at Naruto and when they looked at Sasuke their looks became that of pity and pride. They also saw Sasuke scowl at the looks as Naruto put on his cold facade. Yugito was wondering what the looks at Sasuke were for as she understood the looks at Naruto while Haku remembering the memories that Rikimaru showed her and tried to refrain herself from driving a few senbons through some of their skulls. They didn't have to endure it to long as they reached the Hokage's tower and walked into the Hokage's office.

Sarutobi smiled as he saw team seven come in with his former students and Shizune, but was surprised at seeing a Kiri and Kumo shinobi with them. Shaking it off he turned to Rikimaru. "Glad to see you're back and alive. But who are these girls and why are they with you?" Rikimaru sighed and explain the mission with input from Naruto, Yugao, Jiraiya and Tsunade. Sarutobi sighed and took of his hat and rubbed his temple. "I can get Yugito instated as a Konoha shinobi as she was sold by Kumo so they lost the right to claim her. But as for Haku, she is still part of Kiri..."

"Hokage-sama. I couldn't graduate from the academy there so I never became a shinobi of Kiri. I wear this head band as a memento as it was my mother's since she was a retired shinobi. It's the only thing I have left of her." Sarutobi hearing this could understand her reasoning and nodded. "If that's the case, it won't be to hard to instate you as well. But why could you pass the academy?" Haku sighed and spoke sadly. "Kiri's academy graduation requires you to kill a classmate in a one on one battle. I defeated my opponent with ease, but I couldn't bring myself to kill him so they failed me saying I was to kind hearted to be a shinobi." Sarutobi winced as he remembered Kiri's graduation and sighed. "Alright, both of you will be put on probation for the next month before you will be instated as gennin and join a gennin who doesn't have a team for the chunin exams." The girls nodded and Sarutobi continued. "Now for housing..."

"Hokage-sama." Sarutobi wheeled around at Rikimaru and Naruto as they stepped up. He started sweating bullets, as the two never called him that unless it was serious... or they wanted to pull a massive prank on him and he was hoping it was the first cause his ass was still sore from the paint exploding kunai that was shove up his ass. Rikimaru spoke for the two. "Momochi Zabuza asked me to take care of Haku, so I wish to let her stay at the Namikaze estate with me. If she wishes." Haku had been debating it along the way and finally had a decision. "I would like that." Sarutobi nodded and turned to Naruto. "If it's okay, Yugito can stay with Sasuke and I till you can make arrangements." Sarutobi thought about this and turned to Yugito who shrugged not caring. "Alright, she'll stay their for now. It will take a few weeks before I can get her an apartment on her own ad will make it easier to keep tabs on her for her probation."

"Everyone is dismissed. You may leave. Jiraiya, Tsunade. You two stay." Everyone nodded and left, heading home. Sarutobi sighed before doing a privacy jutsu to keep people from hearing their conversation. Tsunade raised an eyebrow at that. "Alright old man, what's important enough for you to do that." Jiraiya answered for him. "Orochimaru, Akatsuki and Kyuubi." Sarutobi nodded at Jiraiya and Tsunade went stiff hearing her former teammates name. "It seems Orochimaru is planning an invasion with his new village, Otogakure. Since he is sending a team here for the chunin exams, I doubt he'll strike then, but it is a possibility. There is a possibility that he has allied with another village for an attack so we need to be on guard. As for Akatsuki, I don't know I will let Jiraiya explain that."

Jiraiya sighed before speaking. "As of now, I know all the main members. Uchiha Itachi, Akasuna no Sasori, Hoshigaki Kisame, Zetsu from Kusa, Deidara from Iwa, Hidan no Fukyuu(Immortal), Kakuzu from Takigakure, a man know as Pein, Tobi though he isn't a member yet and... Uzumaki Konan." Sarutobi and Tsunade flinched as they knew all too well Jiraiya's feeling about her departure. Jiraiya took a deep breath before continue. "They work in pairs that I just learned. Deidara and Konan are on and it is unknown which jinchuuriki and/or bijuu they are after. Sasori and Kisame are paired with each other and are after Yonbi jinchuuriki and Sanbi. Hidan and Kakuzu are after Yugito and already have caught the other. As for who is after Naruto... it's Itachi and Pein. And we know that Sasuke and Rikimaru will act violently if they knew those two are after him. Though what's this about Kyuubi."

Sarutobi sighed. "After you told me her power was sealed from her, I investigated who did it. The seal was done by Akatsuki, and it was Konan and a young boy which is probably Tobi." Jiraiya face fell further as he heard this. "If that is all, can we leave." Sarutobi nodded and dropped the jutsu. Jiraiya shushined out of the room while Tsunade looked at where he stood before walking out. Sarutobi sighed as he looked out the window and towards the fourth. "Sometimes I wish it was me that did it and you stayed here to deal with this shit."
