There was a knock on the door and for the second time that day Sasuke had to stop what he was doing to get the door. Did no one realise that what the Hokage said was law, why did neither Kakashi nor Naruto pay attention. The Uchiha walked to the door and stopped with his hand on the lock, not sure he really wanted to open it.

 

`Umm, I can see you there please open the door?' Sasuke let out a breath when he realised it was only Hinata.

 

`Sorry give me a minute.' He undid the door and stepped aside so she could come in. Sasuke was happy that for once she didn't have that dog boy trailing after her. `How are you Hinata?' Sasuke sat on the back of the sofa to look at the grey eyed girl, who hadn't taken a step past the entrance way.

 

`Umm I..I have a message from the Hokage. She said she wants to see you in an hour.'

 

`Ok thanks for bringing the message. Do you know what she wants me for.'

 

`Err.. no, She just said to bring you. Umm Sasuke...' She was looking at his feet now, cheeks all flushed.

 

`Mmm was there something else?'

 

`Well...I...I wanted to apologise.'

 

`What? You haven't done anything.'

 

`No it's for Kiba. He doesn't mean to be that way, it's just while you were away they all got really close. And Kiba said if it wasn't for Naruto he would never had picked up the courage to ask me out and then Naruto gave me advice when I didn't know how to answer. So he's just worried, He wouldn't be like that if you hadn't hurt Naruto before. So umm.'

 

`Don't worry I didn't expect anything different. But thanks anyway.' Sasuke smiled, It was sweet how they had all grown so close. She turned to leave and stopped as she crossed the door.

 

`For what it's worth Sasuke, I think your right for him.' And with that she left.

 

 

 

An hour later, the Hokage had managed to gather team 7 in her office. Sakura stood in her usual space behind the Hokage alongside Shizune. While the rest of the team stood facing the head of the Ninja village.

 

`Team 7 I have a mission for you, it's a basic delivery mission, nothing to difficult. You have been asked for especially by the client. Sakura will be staying behind,' The pink haired ninja huffed, `so you will have to cope without a medic nin. Is this clear.' The boy's nodded. `Well then Shizune could you please show our client in.' Team 7 turned curious to see who would walk through the door. A look of surprise came across Kakashi and Sai's face. Sasuke did not seem to care until he saw Naruto's face. The Hokage chuckled to herself as she watched the Uchia's calm facial features falter slightly as he saw the pure joy on Naruto's face.

 

`Sora!' Naruto said as he saw his old friend. The Hokage coughed to remind the blond not to move.

 

`Sora is transporting a priestess to her new home and he's asked for some extra protection on the last bit of the journey. Sora has the rest of your information.' Tsunade motioned for Sora to carry on.

 

`I have been escorting a priestess named Shion to a temple on the other side of the fire country, She has been traveling to other temples on a private mission, and will now be settling down in a new village. Recently we have been attacked by bandits on some of the more remote routs, though I am perfectly capable at fighting them off,' Naruto snorted, ` I do not want Shion left on her own.'

 

`So you just need our help because you're not as strong as you think you are.' Naruto puffed out his chest. `Looks like I'll have to come to your rescue once again.'

 

`In your dreams.' Sora scowled at the over confident blond. `I just needed a babysitter while I go and sort out the real problems, and I couldn't think of anyone better than the big pansy Naruto Uzumaki.'

 

`What did you call me?' The blond fired up.

 

`Naruto don't shout at the customer.' The Hokage sighed. The rest of them were distracted as Naruto exploded and began a fight with his adopted brother.

 

`Jealous Sasuke?' Sakura whispered in the Uchia's ear. He jumped not realizing how close she had gotten.

 

`What?' He hissed back at her. As he turned he saw a smirk curl across the pink haired girls face.

 

`You know they have a tighter bond than you will ever have with Naruto. Looks like your plans are ruined.'

 

`Shut up Sakura, were not all as twisted as you.'

 

`You saw it to though didn't you? His face lit up with pure joy, do you even remember the last time he had that look.'

 

`I don't know what you're getting at.'

 

`Look at them.' She turned Sasuke to look at the others, Sora and Naruto were now physically fighting while Kakashi tried to pry them apart.

 

`Did you know Sora holds a little piece of Naruto inside him? They call to each other across great distances. It wouldn't surprise me if they think of each other often.'

 

`Sakura leave me alone.'

 

`Didn't he tell you about Sora? Well I suppose he didn't want you to know everything. Who knows when you will take off again. And leave him.' She whispered the last part, like a snake waiting to attack.

 

Sasuke moved away from the smirking woman, suddenly wondering why Naruto hadn't mentioned his friend. There had to be a good reason. But what if it was because he was too important to the dobe for just anyone to know about him. Did that mean Sasuke wasn't important to the blond.

 

Sasuke shook his head; he was just being stupid and letting Sakura get to him.

 

`Sasuke, mind giving me a hand?' Kakashi called, breaking Sasuke from his thoughts.

 

Ten minutes and they had finally managed to get the two to calm down. Kakashi had his arms wrapped round the waste of an out of breath blond and Sasuke held the wrists of Sora.

 

`Naruto I expect you to act perfeshionaly on this job do you understand?' The Hokage asked but got no reply. `If you don't you can consider this your last mission for the next year.' That got his attention.

 

`What? You can't do that old hag.'

 

`And one last thing,' Tsunade ignored the last comment, `I want both Sasuke and Naruto to report to me as soon as you are finished. That's all you can leave now.'

 

The five boys left the large office to start their journey.

 

 

 

 

Sorry this chapter was so short but it's all I have on my computer at the moment, the rest is safely tucked away in my note book :D and it will be typed up soon. I hope your enjoying the story, let me know what you think.
