"M-married?!" Hinata looked at her father after snatching her hand away from her… no… she won't call him fiancé. Her white eyes looked at her father in complete horror while dimly wishing that this was all just one sick joke.

"You are the only of my daughters who have come into age of providing children." Hiashi said as if it were the obvious choice. His face was passive as he could watch her heart break within her pale eyes.

"I…" She sighed before forcing a shy smile to her face balling her hands into fists in her lap. "I see…"

"Do not sound so glum." Akuma smiled charmingly. "It is not as if I would treat you badly."

"Ah…" Hiashi spoke up. "She is very attached to her team…"

"Team...?" Akuma looked at her.

"Hinata and I both are working to be shinobis." Neji said looking at Hiashi. The man didn't even give him a look in return; and he was sure the man knew he was looking at him.

"A gem this beautiful, training to be some worthless fighter."

"It is not worthless…" Hinata snapped keeping her eyes lowered to her hands. She inwardly groaned knowing without a doubt she had spoken out of turn. She sighed. "I'm sorry… I've had a hard day today." She lied.

"It's okay…" Her mother cooed from the other side of the table softly. Within moments later the food had been brought into the room and all had been served but Hinata made no movement to eat.

"Married?!? How can he wed me off to some stranger nearly double my age" Her eyes traveled to the man next to her before her eyes slowly traveled to the lower right. "I can't marry him… I don't love him…" Her face remained still as her eyes then moved to look at Hanabi who was eating with the same passive look her father wore. "Again, she gets the better end of the stick…"

Her thoughts turned cold as she began to imagine several kunais in her direction. First chopping off the lovely long hair she had on her head, maybe even leaving her hair shorter than her own before burying themselves completely into her heart.

"Hinata…" Hanabi broke her sister's dark thoughts. "Are you not hungry?" The gentleness in the child's voice made her feel very guilty suddenly. The girl was young, and never intended on pushing her out the way… and here she was imagining her little sister's death.

"Oh shit…" She said suddenly as her hands flew up to her head.

The room was suddenly spinning, whether it truly was or just from her whirlwind of emotions she had just experienced, it was hard to tell from her point of view, but all she knew was that suddenly she had an ache in her chest… a pain she hadn't felt for the first time since the chuunin exams, a pain she hadn't felt for almost a month now.

"Hinata?" Neji sat looking at her wide eyed.

He had watch her thoughts and emotions change right before his eyes. He had seen the same turmoil he had been feeling since the old man's announcement, soon followed by hostility towards the man, immediately following a momentary hatred to her sister. Right after Hanabi spoke she retreated her feelings and now she was on all fours on the floor clutching her chest… right on the old spot.

"No… Hinata…" He moved to be at her side rubbing her back searching for the intrusion to her health. What he saw made him freeze. The wound… it reopened and was spreading back out again.

"Get away from her!!" Hiashi bellowed looked at Neji. Neji simply ignored the man and proceeded to lift her as a servant had entered to room snooping for some sort of gossip later.

"She needs medical attention, now!" He pushed past the servant in the household and left the mansion. He had hoped as if his life depended on it that Hokage-sama is still on the hospital grounds.

"Neji…" Hanabi looked after the boy before standing to follow him, soon following had been Akuma, and finally Hiashi
