“Get back here, Naruto!!!” Sakura shouted as her and the rest of the Sasuke fan girls chased after him down the halls.
“No way, you messed up fan girls!” Naruto shouted as he ran even harder. ‘Damnit! Why do they have to be so fast!!!’ Naruto mentally shouted as he continued to run faster.
“Hey, Naruto. Over here” a voice said as a hand reached out of a room and pulled Naruto into the room.
Naruto breathed in short heavy pants as he tried to catch his breathe.
“Where’d he go!” a girl shouted from the halls as the group could be heard stopping.
“Check over there!” another shouted as the group restarted.
“You alright, dobe?” the voice asked as Naruto finally looked over to see Sasuke smirking at him.
“You bastard! You’re the reason they were after me!” Naruto shouted as he pointed an accusing finger towards Sasuke.
“Not my fault you decided to fall on me” he replied in a arrogant tone.
Naruto let out a small irritated growl before looking around to notice they were in the boys bathroom.
‘Great timing’ Naruto mentally grinned as he stood up and ran into a stall.
“What are you doing?” Sasuke asked, a little surprised.
“it’s a bathroom, I’m doing what these things were made for” Naruto said through the stall.
Sasuke just silently glared at the stall before sighing and looking down.
“You do realize you’re going to be in trouble for running out of class like that” Sasuke said before hearing a flush.
“What the hell else was I suppose to do? Your fan club was trying to kill me!” Naruto shouted back as he came out of the stall and began to wash his hands.
There was no response as Naruto dried his hands and looked back at Sasuke who was giving him a look he couldn’t quite name. it was sort of a what-the-hell-is-up-with-you look.
“What?” Naruto asked, glaring back with the same look.
“There you two are!” Kankuro yelled as the bathroom doors opened and him and Kakashi-sensei walked in. “We thought the girls would have killed Naruto” he said as he walked over to Naruto.
“Nah, those crazed fan girls couldn’t catch me!” Naruto said in a proud pose.
“He so saved you ass, didn’t he?” Kankuro said, pointing towards Sasuke behind Naruto.
“Well…uh…maybe just a little” Naruto said, rubbing the back of his head.
“Idiot” Kankuro snorted.
“What did you say!” Naruto shouted back.
Sasuke just stood there and smirked at the scene before him. Naruto was so…lively! He rather liked the boy’s attitude, though he’d never tell anyone. The bell went off, signaling class was over and it was time for lunch.
“I spent the whole class time trying to save my ass!” Naruto shouted in disbelief.
“Seems so. Guess you’ll be staying after school for the lecture you missed” Kakashi stated, not looking up from his book as he walked out of the bathroom and back towards his class.
Naruto just stared in disbelief as he watch his teacher leave.
“Well good luck with that” Kankuro chuckled as he patted Naruto on the shoulder then left with a small wave.
Naruto could feel his eye twitch in annoyance as he watched the door close behind Kankuro. He turned around to See Sasuke who looked deep in thought. He looked…kinda cute with his current expression. Naruto froze at the thought and shook it away.
“Hey, teme” Naruto said, snapping Sasuke out of thought. “Its lunch time” he reminded him as he crossed his arms over his chest and walked out of the bathroom.
Sasuke stared blankly at the retreating boy for a moment before smirking and following. Indeed, he was an interesting boy.
