Chapter 3

Christy's P.O.V

(Apartment)

Getting home was kinda fun but people stared at the doll. Seeing a person in a ninja suit in broad…. Well it's not actually daylight. More like around 11:00 p.m.… Wasn't natural. On the whole way home while riding the train, Kakashi kinda looked paranoid at the technology in our time. So far the doll had fallen for the disguise I put up around myself. I didn't want anyone to find out what I was really up to.

Normal P.O.V

As they enter her home, Kakashi wasn't all surprised to see that an apartment was still an apartment, even now. Of course it looked better but it still had a flight of stairs, a kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Christy sighed in relief at finally making it home.

"Home, sweet, home." Christy smiled and hung her coat near the door and dropped her bag next to the hanger. She went straight to the kitchen to fetch something to eat when a question hit her. Did Kakashi eat? She popped her head out from under the sink.

"Kakashi? Do you eat?" she asked wanting to find out. He looked at her with a dull stare in his eye.

"Of course I eat. I am human, of course," he shrugged then sat on the sofa. Christy's eyes went wide. `Did this model think it was real? O, well,' she thought. `It'd be nice to see his face.'

She didn't want to make hamburgers or hot dogs because she'd have to unfreeze them but that took too long. So instead, she reached for the bowl ramen. A little old fashion but she loved the spicy flavor of it. You could say it spiced up her life. While waiting for the water to boil, she glanced at the figure on her sofa. He was so dreamy. Just like how she imagined him so many years ago. But she isn't that old, if that's the idea you're getting. She's only 21. He was looking at the couch, wondering what it was made out of that made it so soft but tough. It was kinda cute until Kakashi felt he was being watched. He raised his head and saw Christy staring at him, as if she was daydreaming or something. He raised a brow at her. She shook her head instantly and zipped back around the corner to the stove. He got that insane twinkle in his eye. He stood up and walked over to the counter. Christy was too busy with chopsticks and bowls to notice him watching her.

`Maybe this won't be as bad as I first thought,' Kakashi thought. Without looking, Christy instinctively place the two bowls on the counter without spilling a drop and tossed the napkins and chopsticks in the air only to have them land next to the bowls. Kakashi clapped at her performance, startling Christy. She was actually trying to pour tea for Kakashi but let out an `Eeep' before dropping the cup in her hand. With lightning speed, Kakashi sped into the kitchen and caught the cup. Christy, again, sighed in relief.

" You startled me, Kakashi. You shouldn't do that," she said while she set the pitcher down. Kakashi stood up and smiled. Or from the way his eye closed.

"Sorry. But your performance was good. Do you study jujitsu?" he asked. Christy slightly froze at his question but only for a second before turning to him.

"Of course not. There isn't the time with all the work I have to put up with." She sat down and broke her chopsticks apart. While she looked down at her bowl to take the first bite, she took a deep breath of the scent. It was wonderful. She hadn't had ramen in a while. She took the first bite and looked up to see why Kakashi was rejecting the food only to see that his bowl was empty and tea gone. Her eyes went as big as plates.

"Where'd it go?!" Christy asked, surprised out of her wits. Kakashi only looked at her in question.

"Why in me of course. I wouldn't just throw it away now would I? That tea was very good and I'd never throw something so good away." She blushed at the comment but realized something. In the comic, Kakashi always ate so fast that no one would catch him eating. Her grin fell.

"Something I said?" Kakashi asked, noting her frown. He was surprised to see her grin pop out of nowhere.

"Nothing! And thank you for the compliment," she smiled. "I'm not used to having guest over to compliment. But when you say it, it sounds nice."

Kakashi wondered if she knew what she had said. But as almost fast as he did it, her ramen was gone. Now it was his turn for the wide-eyed stare. Christy simply smiled it off and threw the bowls into the trash. But he gave him mercy.

"I have studied all your moves and skills, and not only from you. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura too. I was so infatuated with you guys that I wanted to be just like you." Kakashi understood and nodded it off. He yawned and stretched giving Christy a good glimpse of his six pack. She quickly turned a shade of red and turned around. Kakashi looked in her direction.

"Something wrong?" He asked her. She quickly shook her head no and walked upstairs. Of course being a doll with nothing else to do he followed her.
