Chapter 2

Christy unwrapped her gift to find out it wasn't in a box at all. As the foil fell to the ground, a shocked expression swept over her face. Her present from her friend, Klyde was her dream. Ever since she was a little girl of age 13 and learned of a place of ninjas, her dream was to actually see her favorite ninja in person. Her gift was a life like Kakashi doll!

"Oh, my god, Klyde! Where did you…? How did you…When? Oh, Klyde I love it!!" With that stuttering little sentence being said she jumped on Klyde, hugging him till he turned red.

" Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love it! Klyde, thank you!" Her utter joy was exploding within her as she cried out "thank you's." Klyde did his best to keep conscious through the whole thing. Finally, Christy let her death grip fall. Klyde took several deep breaths of air. He watched and laughed as Christy poked the doll. It looked so real. The height, look, expression, everything! She was ready to hug it when it poofed into smoke. It took Christy a while to realize what happened. She looked at Klyde ready to cry when she saw it standing behind him. Klyde was smiling.

"Christy, did I forget to mention it can move? This `Kakashi doll' can move, read his book; do ninja moves, and all that. He's my greatest work yet. The poof thing was probably caused by his reaction agency. See it acts like the real Kakashi. When you tried to hug him he didn't like that so he poofed over here."

Christy seemed to understand. But she had a question.

"Will it do anything I say or will it just follow me around?"

It took a few moments for Klyde to answer her not really sure.

" It will follow you around even if you deny it to but I don't know if it will do everything you ask it to do. I haven't confirmed it yet," Klyde responded, scratching the back of his head. Christy didn't look disappointed but actually more interested.

"Cool. I love it, Klyde. I can't wait to test it out." Christy walked over to the Kakashi look alike. She stuck her hand out in front of him. He looked down at it.

"Hello Kakashi! My name's Christy. Would you like to friends?" She asked in her most enthused voice. Kakashi (we'll just call him that) looked back at Klyde and pointed at Christy's hand.

"You really don't expect me to go home with her, do you?" Kakashi asked. Christy looked at her hand and inspected it for infection. Klyde laughed. Christy looked shaken.

"Is there something wrong with me, Klyde? Was I not cheery enough? Did I do something to offend him?" She was about to cry it looked like. Klyde sweatdropped.

"No Christy. I assure you, you didn't do anything. Like the real Kakashi, he has his own personality. So he will act just like the character out of the book. You were just too friendly for his… um, natural stability. Remember he's a ninja. Ninja are used to the mean and serious people." Christy shook her head in compliance. She then looked at Kakashi and saluted him.

"Sir Kakashi sir! Would you like to be my friend sir?" Klyde fell over. Kakashi looked up from his book, Make Out Paradise. He sighed and stood.

"Fine." He smiled from under his mask. "I'm Kakashi and I am glad to assist you in daily life, Christy." Christy smiled widely in glee. Her dream had come true!
