Ch. 2

 

Little did the three siblings know, as they walked down the path, they were being watched by a stranger in the trees. As they walked, the stranger jumped from tree to tree. The stranger noticed that the three siblings were from different villages, according to their headbands. He thought to himself, `I wonder what three ninjas from different villages are doing near Konoha. But whoever they are, that one up front is sexy. Wow, she's even sexier than Sakura. I'm glad I gave up on her, so this girl is fair game. Hmm, it appears as though they are looking for something. I'll help them out.'

The stranger leapt down from the tree onto the path; standing right in front of Kristin who was up front. The three of them stood there in a stunned silence. The mysterious stranger, who stood in front of them, was none other than Rock Lee. Kristin looked freaked out. `Oh Crap, it's Lee. How could things get any worse?' Lee then took Kristin's hand and kissed it. “What is a beautiful girl like you doing so far away from her village? If you are in search of something, I would be happy to assist you,” he said. Kristin's face twisted into a look of disgust. `Eeww, he's hitting on me. Things did get worse.” “What happened to Sakura, Lee? You tryin' to cheat on her with me?” Kristin suddenly asked while smirking.

Lee looked confused. “How did you know about Sakura, and my name?” Kristin shrugged. “I know a lot of things. But that's not the point. The point is that we don't need help.” She and her siblings then began to walk away. Lee smiled slyly. “You guys are looking for a necklace, aren't you?” The siblings stopped. Ryan and Nicole exchanged nervous glances. “How'd you know? Were you stalking us?!” Nicole yelled accusingly. Lee smiled. “If you three would like to know of its whereabouts, you'll have to pay.”

The siblings glared at him as Kristin asked, “What do you want? We're travelers; we have nothing to give you.” Lee's smile grew evil. “Well, if you agree to be my girlfriend, I'll tell the three of you everything.” Kristin frowned as her siblings snickered. “That's blackmail. You don't even know me, either. Why do you want a girlfriend that you hardly know?” Lee's smiled became less as evil. “Because, you are the most beautiful girl that I've ever seen.” Ryan and Nicole then stopped laughing. “Wait, you mean you're not trippin'?” Ryan asked as Nicole punched him for trying to be black. Kristin looked down at her feet as Nicole moaned, “Kristin, he may be our only chance to get the necklace back. Maybe you should…” “Hmm, Lee, I have a better idea. What if we strike a bargain? You know, to make things more interesting,” Kristin said raising her head. Lee raised an enormous eyebrow. “I'm listening.” Kristin pushed her brother forward. “You pose a lot, right Lee? Well, if you can beat my undefeated pose-master brother, I'll be your girlfriend. But if he wins, then you have to tell us all about the necklace. Everything. Deal?” Ryan frowned and asked in a Gary Coleman-like voice, “What you talkin' `bout, sis?” Kristin leaned towards him and whispered, “Just do it, you'll win for sure.”

Lee thought for a minute. “I accept.” Ryan held up his hands and said in a helpless tone, “Hey, that's not cool. This is against my will. I'm calling my lawyer.” Kristin suddenly had an evil look on her face. “You'll do it, and you'll win. `Cause if you don't, then when we enter the next building, I'll turn off all the lights and laugh maniacally.” Ryan peed himself; her threat was his true weakness, as well as fear. Nicole then picked up a stick and drew a circle in the dirt. Ryan and Lee entered the circle; both with their game faces on.

“3, 2, 1, Go!” Kristin shouted. The two competitors then began to pose their hardest. In fact, they posed so hard, that after about five minutes, a thick cloud a dust formed around them. This completely blocked the sisters' view of the pose-off. When the dust finally did clear, Ryan was sweating heavily while doing the `Stuart pose' and Lee was lying on the ground; bleeding heavily through the several wounds covering his body. The girls stared in shock. “What did you do to him, Ryan?! This was supposed to be a pose-off, not a gore fest!” Kristin yelled in a freaked out tone. Upon finishing her sentence, Lee stood up, dusted himself off, and shook Ryan's hand. Somehow, all of his wounds were gone as he said to Ryan, “You were a worthy opponent. You have won fair and square.”

The girls, still freaked out, could only stare. “What the? First, you somehow get seriously beaten by our brother, then, you're suddenly better?! I mean WTF!” Nicole yelled. Lee shrugged. “Don't worry, that was just my pose of defeat. It makes me appear to be severely beaten, when actually, I'm not.” Kristin also shrugged. “Whatever. Anyway, you still lost, Lee. So spill the beans. Where's the necklace?” The three siblings crowded around him to make sure he wouldn't run away. Lee cleared his throat and told them. “Well, a few days ago, I was training as I do everyday. When I was done, I began to walk home. Eventually, I stopped because I heard voices. It was Naruto showing a peculiar necklace to his squad. He told them that he had found it in the forest and was offering it to Sakura. But, his squad members urged him to try to find the owner. Their sensei, Kakashi, took it from him for safe-keeping until the owner is found. So, unless someone has claimed it by now, it should be with Kakashi sensei.” The siblings exchanged frightened glances; each of them expecting the worst.

“How far away is Konoha from here?” Kristin asked desperately. Lee shrugged and replied, “About five minutes, if we run.” The siblings looked at each other, nodded, and took off running side-by-side. Lee frowned and yelled, “Hey, wait for me!” He then began running to catch up with them. While the siblings were running, they decided to chat. “Wow, I never knew that we could run this fast,” Nicole remarked astonishingly. Kristin smiled and added, “We're ninjas; we can do anything.” Ryan smirked and asked, “Cool, does that mean I can do this?” He performed quick hand seals, and transformed into Michael Jackson. “Secret Ninja Art; Michael Impersonation,” he said in a high MJ - like voice. He then began moon walking backwards, very quickly to ensure he kept up with his sisters. But in a matter of seconds, he gained enough speed to zip right past them. The sisters stared in disbelief as he quickly faded out of sight.
