The Chunin Exam: Battle Commences
-----------------------------------------------

16-16(36 contestants in total),
8-8(16 contestants in total),
4-4(8 contestants in total),
2-2(4 contestants in total),
1-1(the final 2).
That's how this year's Chunin Exam worked.
Hinata's next opponent was a woman. She looked experienced. She even seems as excited as Hinata herself was. Both of them shouted in unison.
“Let's begin”
Hinata and Wanii stepped back to create some space between each other. Apparently, Wanii knew about Hinata's Juukin and made a point to stay away from her hands. Wanii made a few hand seals after opening her bottle cap.
“Suiton, Suiryudan no Jutsu” (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)
Water flowed out and turned into a dragon.
She smirked.
“Say good bye, my dear” Wanii motioned her fingers as the water dragon launched towards Hinata.
Hinata conveniently dodged every attack. As forceful as her opponent was, she wasn't fast enough.
Shinju Kin no Jutsu (Yellow Sky Technique) Hinata made a few seals. Immediately the clouds and sky turned yellow slowly spiraling above her head.

The head of the Hyuuga clan tensed.
That's a cloud attack. Hinata knows cloud attacks? What's going on? Hiashi finally realized something was amiss.
“Two can play that game” Hinata said. She motioned her hands down, and two pillars of chakra filled cloud shot down from the sky destroying the Water Dragon.
The audience shot back upon noticing how close the pillars of cloud were. Some even tried to touch it.
Wanii gasped as her dragon was destroyed, and made a few seals to recreate another sea creature.
This time a Water Eagle was formed. It opens its mouth to blow an attack. It was a ball of water molded with chakra. Teppodama (Water Release: Gunshot)
“Hmph, pathetic” Hinata commented.
The pillars of cloud shot down from the sky directly landing on the Teppodama.
“Sayonra” Hinata smirked evilly.

Another two pillar shot down and destroyed the eagle. Hinata suddenly appeared behind Wanii and stabbed a kunai behind her back. The audience gasped, fearful that someone might die.
Wanii smiled, then transformed into water then flowed into the ground.
Hinata's eyes widened. That was careless. Hinata turned around.
“Behind you.” Wanii whispered behind her ears.
“My turn” she stabbed a kunai into her spine at Hinata's back then smiled as blood flowed out.
Hinata pushed back the pain then regained her composure.
“Bad idea, Juukin” Instantly blue chakra flowed from Hinata's body, through the kunai and into Wanii who was still holding it.
“Arrgh!” She yelped in pain then fell back to vomit some blood out.
“Not enough eh? Let's finish this!” Hinata yelled then stood up and lifted her hands to reach for another pillar. Just as she was about to motion for its final destruction, she suddenly paused.
For a very long moment Hinata stood that way, as if on a frozen jutsu. But that wasn't it, she was deciding.
I'm with people I know, do I want them to see this side of me? This lust to take people's life? Suddenly a certain blond hair boy appeared in her mind. Naruto kun. Her eyes soften. She released her jutsu. She turned around to walk away.
“Come back here bitch!” Wanii took out her kunai and launched towards Hinata.
“Too late. Juukin” Hinata turned and landed a gentle blow on Wanii's chest as she rammed her body towards the Hyuuga. Immobile, Wanii vomited a large amount of blood then crumbled to the ground. The sky suddenly turned blue again as the golden clouds begin to evaporate. The crowd roared, not knowing the effects of Juukin. Wanii's better off dead. She would be useless with a weaken heart like that.
Hinata was probably the current craze, as everyone seems to be on her side.

The examiner confirmed Hinata's victory and the crowd roared even louder, the next contestants moved into the field as the current ones move out. Tamiko was next. He walked passed her towards centre stage.

“That was evil. Hinata chan! Let's see who does it better.” Tamiko teased.
“Hah! Try beating that!” Hinata replied as Tamiko places his arms over her shoulders.
A sudden pain shot up her spine. Then she remembered, the kunai. Tamiko held her, preventing her collapse as medics rushed towards her with a stretcher.
The Hyuugas saw it. They were suspecting her to fall, as the kunai hit her blind spot. No wonder she couldn't see it. Neji thought recalling his similar experience with a certain sound shinobi.
“Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.” Hinata assured Tamiko who replied with a smile.
“I know.” He replied as he ran towards the centre to start the battle.

“Father, Why did Hinata stop when she had the opportunity?” Kin asked. Both of them were watching their comrade.
“That's so unusual. Hinata doesn't really spare anyone” Kin continued.
“Ma, it's not that she didn't, that Water shinobi probably won't be able to use her arms properly anymore.” Yuu and his subordinate laughed.

“What's so funny? Eh, Yuu san?” Kakashi suddenly popped out of nowhere holding a copy if Icha Icha series.
“Ha ha, Kakashi. Where did you get that copy? I heard it was not ever released yet?” Yuu reached out to grab it.
“Answer me.” Kakashi's eyes were dangerous.
Yuu snapped out of it, and regained his composure. Geez, what a troublesome guy.
“Our clan travels a lot. We don't stay in one place, thus a shinobi's job will never end.” Yuu explained. Kakashi was half a centimeter taller than him. What the hell's with the mask? What a weirdo! Yuu laughed in his mind.
“That doesn't explain why you're laughing.” Kakashi's voice was still stern.
“I don't believe I'm obliged to answer any of your interrogation Kakashi san” Yuu said with smirk.
The air was getting tensed.
The two men were glaring daggers at each other. Kin needed to intervene.
“Ha ha, father, behave.” She nudged Yuu's waist causing him to break the `stare you down competition'
“Kakashi san, we were just laughing about how unnatural for Hinata to stop an attack right in the middle of it.” Kin said trying to laugh again.
Kakashi lightened up.
“Oh? Is that so? Ma, see that wasn't so hard, ne? Yuu-kun?” with that Kakashi disappeared out of sight.
“I hate bakkas” Yuu said.
“Hate who?” Kakashi was suddenly back again.
Both of them jumped back surprised
“I forgot, aren't you worried for Hinata? She's wounded, right?” Kakashi asked Kin.
“You don't have to worry about her, she'll be fine. We know her too well” Kin poked her sensei.
“Ma, sorry for disturbing” He disappeared again.
“I really..” Yuu stopped to look around then continued “him”
Kin was sent laughing on the ground.
Apparently, she didn't find her sensei acting childishly for a 21 year old man. Yuu really was one of a kind.
