Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ The Jinchuuriki Nine ❯ Part 1 Chapter 3 ( Chapter 3 )

A/N: As I have said in a previous A/N, Im not entirely happy with the length of my chapters and I want to know whether people prefer long chapters with not many updates weekly, or shorter chapters which will most likely be updated daily.

 

Hippy34: Well basically, this fanfic isn't going to be too nice to the Leaf. All of Naruto's life people have been beating him up and hurting him. So when you surround a `dropout dobe' with 4 elite Ninja, they tend to get a little overconfident. And the reason that they were killed so easily is simple. In the anime/manga, the Water Prison jutsu couldn't be broken from the inside. If it could, Kakashi would have been able to get out without much effort. The Molten Lava prison is a variation of this, and so could not be released if all of your team is captured.

 

Im not going to make Naruto a super-powered killing machine like many fanfics out there today. You must understand that Naruto will be naturally stronger then the other rookies because he is older. Don't believe me? In the Anime, it is said that Naruto failed the graduation exam 3 times before actually graduating. If you do the calculations, this would make him a year or 2 older then Team Guy.

Chapter 3

**

After the fight with the ANBU, Naruto had been sure to keep a lookout at all times. But to tell the truth, he wasn't too worried about being pursued anymore. Tsunade would have put a stop to any attempts of retrieving him after reading the letter. He wasn't far from the Fire Country border now, and in a few days time, would arrive at his destination. That destination was the Sand.

 

Naruto had been training every chance he got and within days had already made some new jutsu. Of course, they weren't too advanced. Not only did he lack the knowledge in the department of jutsu inventing, but his own 10,000 year old demon was being unusually unhelpful. So our blonde hero decided to see what was wrong with Kyuubi.

 

Walking through the corridors of his mind, he stopped when he arrived at the room the Kyuubi's cage was in.

 

“Hey fox, you said you would teach me some cool jutsu” Naruto said in a calm, lazy manner. Much like Kakashi would say when he is bored with something.

 

“Stupid brat. Why do you immediately assume that you can handle my techniques?” The Kitsune in question said. He was growing more and more impatient with the boy's stupidity.

 

“It's just because im superior to you. If you could do it, I can”

 

In all of the years Kyuubi walked this earth, he had not heard something so hilarious. And proved so by dropping to the ground and laughing as soon as the last word passed from the kid's mouth.

 

“HAHA, you have no idea how stupid you sound do you? You think yourself, a mere mortal, can compare to the king of the demons!?”

 

Naruto simply smiled before pulling out a kunai and moving it to his throat.

 

“Well, the last time I looked, the cards were clearly in my favour. Just one slice and your life ends”

 

Kyuubi stopped laughing and looked at Naruto in a new light.

 

“You would seriously take your own life just to prove a point?”

 

“Of course I would. You life is in my hands and I can end it as quickly or slowly as I wish”

 

“Brat. Fine, im going to teach you a summoning jutsu. Before you say anything, listen for once in your life”

 

Why did Naruto need another summoning contract? Well, he didn't have a clue but listened intently none the less.

 

“The summoning contract im about to give to you is to the foxes-”

 

“Oh? Didn't see that one coming” Naruto said whilst grinning inwardly.

 

“You already have a contract with the toads. Whether they will allow this or not, I don't know. Each summon creature has there own laws. When you summon one of the foxes, I will be able to communicate with it telepathically. Oh, and you should probably note. The summon boss for the foxes will be me. No humans have had the honour or authority to summon me to battle before”

 

“Wait, hold on. If I am to summon you, will that mean that you'll be free of the seal?”

 

“No, only a part of my consciousness will be in the summon creature. I will be able to use all my techniques and strengths, while still being confined to this seal. Basically, it will be a complete replication of my demonic form”

 

“So, you've thought this through then? How can you escape?”

 

“Not that it's any of your business, but the only way for me to escape is to take over your body. I am already dead in a physical sense”

 

“So this summoning contract, should I sign it now or what?”

 

And out of nowhere, a crimson red scroll appears out of the bars, floating on a wave of red chakra.

 

“You know what to do right? Sign your name with your own blood and make a hand print with the hand you will use to summon”

 

As Naruto opened the scroll, he couldn't help but feel that something was lacking…There were no names. Seeing his confused expression, Kyuubi spoke up.

 

“As I said, no human has ever had the honour of summoning Kitsune like me”

Naruto nodded, bit his thumb, and began writing his name. After, he put blood on each finger and made a print of his fingers on the scroll before the red chakra collected it up.

 

“Kit, when you go back, I want you to summon me and Gamabunta. Don't worry, we aren't hostile towards each other, we've met. I need to have a little talk with him”

 

“And how am I supposed to summon two summon bosses with my current chakra? You'll have to loan me some of yours.”

 

“I know that, you fool. Im getting tired of you coming here asking for my chakra. Im going to give you something much like that Uchiha has…A curse mark. However, this one will cause no pain. You'll be able to tap into my chakra simultaneously without coming all the way here. This mark is permanent though, and so you will be scarred for life.”

 

“That is of no concern. Can I choose the design? And is it possible for me to give these marks to other people?”

 

“I could arrange it, but only if I approve of the `person'. Your too fussy kit, what design do you want?”

 

“Nine tails in a circle on my chest.”

 

“This might hurt a bit, just before the searing pain starts.” Kyuubi said with a smile. This would be payback for threatening him before.

 

Naruto prepared himself and scrunched up his face. Just then, he felt a small, feather like touch on his chest. Opening up his shirt, he looked down to see a plain, black mark consisting of nine tails in a perfect circle.

Kyuubi started laughing loudly.

 

“AHAHAHAHA, you really are a wuss, aren't you?”

 

Naruto left his mindscape with a scowl on his face before becoming aware that he was on the tree he was on moments before. Deciding it would be a good idea to try out the mark now, he activated it. Within moments, Naruto noticed a faint red glow emitting from his body as well as his fingernails growing sharp and teeth into fangs. His hair grew out a bit and his eyes became red and slitted.

 

“Not too bad.” Naruto said softly before biting his thumb and doing the hands for his summon.

 

“Summoning Jutsu” Naruto placed a hand to the ground and in a massive display of smoke, the Frog boss Gamabunta was under him.

 

“HEY BRAT, WHY DID YOU SUMMON ME HERE WHEN YOU AREN'T FIGHTING?” Gamabunta yelled at his summoner, frustrated that he had summoned him for no reason.

 

Naruto jumped off the toad's head and looked up at him from the ground.

 

“Well, I have someone I'd like you to meet.” Naruto smiled before doing hand signs, with his thumb still bleeding and placing his hand to the ground.

 

“Summoning Jutsu” A smoke cloud just as large, if not larger, erupted underneath Naruto and the form of the Kyuubi came from nowhere.

 

“Y-You!? Naruto, what in the world is he doing here.”

 

“It's been a long time Gamabunta. I believe the last time we met was when I was sealed in this kid.”

 

Gamabunta growled before leaping into the air and drawing his sword. However, Kyuubi just laughed and got ready to attack. Naruto merely sighed before jumping in the middle of the two.

 

“Gamabunta, please calm down. I've made a contract with the foxes and I can summon Kyuubi. He wants to talk to you.”

 

Gamabunta returned to the ground and sat eagerly waiting the demon to speak. He kept his sword at the ready, which didn't go unnoticed by the Kyuubi.

 

“You may or may not know, but Naruto has defected from the Leaf village. I have to ask you not to tell that perverted guy where Naruto is or where he is going to. I also forbid you to tell him of the kid's plan which you will find out about soon enough. Is this understood?”

 

Gamabunta took a draw from his pipe before speaking.

 

“You do not have the right to tell summoning creatures what they may or may not tell there summoners. We have laws. While I will not pry into Naruto's business, nor will I tell Jiraiya anything concerning the whereabouts of Naruto. But, it is my responsibility to let Jiraiya know that the kid is alright.”

 

“Well that's good enough. Not that the Leaf really needs to know how the brat is. Now, ill be seeing you” Kyuubi said before disappearing with the all too familiar white cloud of smoke.

 

“You have no idea what you've gotton yourself into kid. Look, while I will listen to your demands, I am making a note on your summoning contract. As of now, you will only be able to summon Gamakichi and myself. Us toad's do not get along with the foxes and I do not want my children harmed. Gamakichi however has taken a liking to you and has agreed to do small tasks. Later.”

 

Gamabunta disappeared rather abruptly and left a confused Naruto. Oh how long this day has been. All Naruto wanted was some company and a nice container of instant ramen.
