Rennik stared at himself in the mirror. Where am I gonna put head protector. If I put it on my head like a normal Genin it will only attract unnescesary heat. Rennik tied the head band to his upper thigh. That'll be fine I think. Well off to the academy. I made it. I am officially a rank one ninja. A real Genin. Rennik thought entering the new class attracting no attention besides that of the white eyed girl. Rennik sat down in the back and waited. Staring off into space when he noticed Naruto walking in with a head protector firmly wrapped around his foredhead flashing his trademark grin. So the kid made it after all... He found himself watching the kid closely wondering how he'd make a fool of himself today. Almost as the thought left his head he was bumped into a kiss with Sasuke..... With all the female attention Sasuke attracts thats not going to go over well Rennik chuckled to himelf.
Iruka stood in front of class and began talking with a reassuring grin on his face. Giving a speech Rennik paid no attention to other than one thing "You will be broken down into teams of three" The words echoed in Rennik's head. Great! I really hope the other two I am with are very good. I lack hand to hand combat but excel in medical jutsus. The teams were called off. Heh team 7. Nartuo, Sakura, and Sasuke. Isn't that quite a group of people. Naruto the loudest ninja in the village, holder of the Kyuubi. Sakura the pink haired worshipper of Sasuke, and Sasuke himself. Probably the most aspiring genin in the entire village. I hope the other two drag Sasuke down. That's just that much less competition. Haha Choji squad nine won't be a problem either. Wait that was the last group.. I haven't been called yet. There is no one left. Did I mess up somehow?!
"Rennik theres an uneven balance in teams so talk to me after class and I will show you whos team you are assigned with." Iruka confirmed with me. After everyone left I approached Iruka-sensei. "Sir you wanted to see me?"
"Ah yes Rennik. Narutos in luck he would've had to wait until next year but there was an opening in a senior team. One of their members had.... An accident. And will not be able to attend the Chunin exams. So in order to be fair to everyone we are assigning you to that squad. Sorry for any grief this may have cuased you. But I trust in you not to get pushed around by the seniors."
"Its not a problem sir. You were a great sensei. I hope to see you again."
"You are a great student Rennik. Goodbye."
"Sensei." Rennik pondered. "Yes Rennik?" "You wouldn't happen to know and healing jutsus would you?" "Sorry Rennik I never really excelled in that area. I do have this book though that has quite a few in it. Here take it a gift from a sensei to a Genin." " Thank you sir." I told him taking the book and strolling out of the room. This is just too perfect. I get two bad ass senior ninjas. I couldn't have asked for more.
I showed up to class the following morning. Seeing the other two seniors already in the class room waiting for the Jounin. I examined them quickly. Two well built ninjas. They look capable enough in a fight. The first seemingly the stronger had a sleek metal chin guard. A black shirt with the leaf village emblem on it black pants and a skull and cross bones carved into the top right of his head protector commonly wrapped around his for head. He was ripped as i could tell from his massive arms. The other ninja Had a plain dark blue shirt. the same black pants and the same carving on his head protector only in the top left. He wasn't as built as the first but he wasn't weak looking either. I can't wait to try out the jutsus I was training on all night. That book is loaded with medical jutsus and the author... the one woman I look up to. The legendary Sanin Tsunade-sama. A chill ran down my spine thinking of her. I sat down only to find my two squad mates flanking me. "Hey Rookie you better be good!" "Ya! if you slow us down we'll beat the shit out of you until you quit." "Yup just like the last member." the ninja who appeared to be the leader of the two started laughing. Great now I have to cover my ass as to not get killed by my own squad. They sat down next to eachother in the center of the room. The jounin walked in.
"Good morning guys." He glanced at the two seniors explaining a mission which involved the boring task of cleaning a house. It took him a while but he noticed me as well. He has a slightly surprised smile. "Hey you must be that rookie Iruka was talking about. Glad to have you aboard. Your lucky you get to be with this strong of a squad and not only that but you don't have to do any tests. Lucky you. That doesn't mean you can slack off you have to train twice as hard to become as strong as the senior students. Say... Why don't you introduce your self and explain your hobbies and reasons you wish to become a Shinobi."
I stood up and calmly explained myself " I am Rennik Hideotoshi. My hobby is collecting medical ninjustus to further my self to become a medical ninja. My goal as a shinobi is to become a legendary medical-nin more reknown than that of Tsunade-sama."
"A medical-nin eh? That can be quite handy.I am Hidori Kiyomi your sensei. I enjoy helping young students such as yourselves become great Shinobi." said my new sensei. A plain man wearing that customary vest I see most high ranking Shinobi wearing. He fashioned long raven black hair that hung to his mid back. One eye blue and one eye black. Nothing else being special about him."Come on guys introduce yourselves" he motioned to the seniors. The boss of the two stood up and confidently introduced himself. " I am Haru Tamaki, this is Kanaru Tamaki my brother and you better not slow us down rookie." Well that was done with we followed our sensei to the boring mission explained earlier. Which was followed by many more boring uneventful waste of time missions.

Chapter 2 sorry if its slow paced so far it will be for a lil longer so bare with me. I'm just filling in a few gaps. We start the Chunin exams in the next chapter so please leave me a review. I hope I'm not puting anyone to sleep =-S
