Chapter 2: A New Friend for Life


Now Akiko was in the family, and Neji forced the Clan to accept her, even though they didn't acted very accepting of her. At the age of 5, Akiko looked just like her mom, with shoulder length brown, silky hair and the same face. She even had the same eyes.

Akiko was different because her eyes were not white. They were brown. So the clan didn't know if she could even use the famous clan's signature bloodline, the Byakugan. That's why many people of the clan didn't accept her. She truly wasn't a Hyuuga member.

Well, even though she had her Mom's looks, she had her Dad's skill. Well, most of it anyway. She was skilled in speed and was able to defeat those who fought her easily, but she was also very skilled in weapons. Like Tenten. Even though she was powerful for a small child, the still entered her in the Academy as a first year (I truly don't know the years, so I made them up) She soon became to first in her class, in academics and attack. She made friends quickly, all of them girls, but none of them were her REAL friends. They just hung around her for protection and popularity.


But one day, so found a friend for life.


At lunch, she was eating with her regular group of "Friends' when she noticed a boy sitting in a corner on the playground by himself. He had white hair about down to his neck, blue eyes, and glasses. He was rather skinny and pale he wore a black jacket and black pants. He looked rather shy, and blushed when he noticed her looking at him.


"Who's that?" Akiko asked the girls. They knew about everyone, so why not ask.


"That's Tanaka Isamu. His first name means "Brave", but he's everything but brave. He's a shy geek. Don't talk to him." One girl said with a sneer.


Akiko took another look at Isamu. She noticed he had no bento box. 'He must be hungry' she thought, so she grabbed her bento box and went over to the boy, ignoring the girls behind her asking her where she was going.


The boy flinched as Akiko sat down next to him and set her bento box between them.

"Hi, I'm Hyuuga Akiko!" She said with a smile.

Isamu responded to her smile with a smile of his own. "I'm Tanaka Isamu....Why did you come over?"

"You looked hungry and I noticed how you didn't have a bento box, so I thought we could share mine. I hope you don't mind. “She said while bringing out an extra pair of chopsticks.

Isamu was surprised. No one, NO ONE had ever been this nice to him. He gladly accepted and took the chopsticks from her.


Who knew that that was the start of a very long and happy friendship?


They grew up to be best friend and they shared Akiko's lunch together everyday at the Academy.


And soon enough they were going to need their friendship more then every.
