She sat in her bed wordless. Her father had agreed to let her marry some sand freak and because Neji hates her guts. She took a long sigh then she looked through the window and tears started overflowing her silver eyes. She will lose what was left of her childhood to some guy she does not know and thinks she does not want to anyway. Under her pillow she reached for a wood made portrait that had the picture of a very beautiful blond in it. She started to cry louder and she was not willing to get ready to meet the others downstairs… Meanwhile… All the Hyuga household was waiting for “the bride to be” girl but there was no trace of her. Hiashi Hyuga was already boiling angry; How could his daughter do this to him.
“_Neji-kun check on your cousin before I go to her room and drag her down here…”- said the Hyuga head. Neji thought that would be great but why ruin the whole party like this? He smirked then stood up and walked to the room. He knocked the door twice and no response.
“_-Hinata-Chan do not get the idea of escaping by locking yourself in the room…you will marry Gaara of the dessert and that is final”-said the Hyuga boy pounding on the door and trying to keep cool. He was not going to let this little girl get on his no-existent nerve. He moved back and with some chakra on his palm he destroyed the doorknob that stood in his way. He saw the girl laying on her bed. She was wearing her wedding dress and she had a portrait next to her sleeping body and tears already dry in her face. The brunet got closer trying to get a better look at the portrait then he saw a very beautiful blond with cerulean eyes shining with life and energy. The brunet frowned then he took the portrait when he did so the sleeping girl woke up startled by the sudden appearance of her cousin Neji. She quickly stood up and got into battle position.
“-I am not here to fight you little cousin I am here to tell you that your fiancé has arrived and we are waiting for your presence”-said the boy hiding the portrait behind his back. Hinata looked down to the floor then looked at him…
“-Why do you hate me? What did I ever did to you so you could hate in such a way?”-asked Hinata without really looking into his eyes. The Byakugan slowly started to activate in Neji’s face. The veins hatching from the sides of his face.
“-Whatever would make you think that I hate you little cousin?”-asked the boy undoing the Byakugan. Hinata now looked at him. He had a very noticeable frown set in his face. She said nothing and the question was left on the air. Hinata walked outside of the room and headed toward the meeting table. Everyone looked at the girl she was wearing the old dress her mother wore when she married her father. Hiashi looked at her with wide eyes. Hinata looked at everyone and the last gaze she met was her fiancé’s; Gaara.
“-I am sorry I took so long to get here I just got a little distracted that is all…”-said Hinata in her most normal tone ever.
“-Where is Neji-san? He did go up to look for you did he not?”-asked the lord of the Hyuga main branch then the brunet showed up.
“-I am most sorry I stayed up there I was just looking for something Gomen nasai Hiashi-sama”-said the boy, now it was Hinata’s turn to smirk. Then a chill ran up her spine, she felt a heavy gaze over her like a weight over her shoulders. Then she met his deadly gaze. Aquamarine eyes staring at her with anger and hatred. Her eyes widened and fear started to overcome her being. She felt like she wanted to run away and never see those hate-filled eyes. She tried to breathe but it was just too much pressure. Neji sat down and looked at Gaara who glared at him. Then the brunet looked at Hinata who looked terrified. He smirked and turned his attention to lord Hiashi who was now speaking…
“-Okay family of the Dessert this is my young daughter Hinata…”-said the man very proud of his little girl who was growing up. Hinata coyly stood up and looked at everyone except at those hateful aquamarine eyes and smiled at them. The red-head that was watching her since she got there smirked…he was going to have a lot of fun with that “little” girl that was going to be his bride. Neji also smirked…
