This is a little fic staring my fav. couple SasuNaru with one of my favorite songs. This is my first time writing a angsty fic so please bear with me. Hope you enjoy it. Please review.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto (if I did SasuNaru would be a main staple of the manga). That great privilege goes to Kishimoto-san I do not also own True Colors that right goes to Cyndi Lauper.

True Colors
‘Why are they so cold?’ Naruto’s internal scream echo’s through his mind. Trying to tune out the harsh words, his teary eyes on the concrete below as he rushes home.
You with the sad eyes
Don’t be discouraged
Turning around the last corner to his apartment he collides with something solid throwing him to the ground.
Oh, I realize
It’s hard to take courage
“Oi, dobe!” Sasuke grounds out as he stands back up. “Watch where you’re…” He trails off after finally getting a good look at his teammate. ‘My poor Naruto.’
“Are you ok?” He asks gruffly as he offers a hand to help him up. The blonde slaps the hand away as he stumbles to his feet. He starts taking off again.
“Just leave me alone teme.” He cries out trying to control his tears. ‘I don’t want to cry in front of Sasuke…anyone but Sasuke.’
In a world full of people
You can loose sight of it all
“NARUTO!!” Sasuke yells after him, but he doesn’t pay attention. He just keeps on running…from the sneers…the cold stares…and the feeling of nonexistence.
He slams the door to his apartment open then closes it with equal force and dives for his bed as he starts to sob. ‘I don’t know how much more of this I can take.’ His small body trembling with the force of his anguished crys. He suddenly jerks up and rushes to the bathroom barely making it in time as he throws up from the force of his cries. He slowly gets to his feet and stumble to the mirror.
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small
‘I wonder if it would hurt?’ He contemplates as he pulls a kunai out of his pack. ‘I’m sure everyone would be grateful if I did it’ He swipes his eyes with the back of a hand. Slowly he lays the kunai against his wrist marveling at how cold the metal was. ‘My only regret would be,’ he thinks as he puts the tip against his pulse point on his wrist. ‘ I never got to tell…’ his eyes cross as he crumbles to the ground out cold.
“Baka,” Sasuke whispers as he removes his fingers from a pressure point on Naruto’s neck. He gently picks the blonde up and carries him to his bed. ‘I can’t believe he would actually do it…that he would even think about leaving me.’ He covers him up and lays a gentle kiss on his forehead. He walks over to Naruto’s desk and writes a little note. Giving one last look to the sleeping blonde he quietly leaves the apartment.
So…….what do you think??? Good?? Bad?? Ehh??? Please tell me. The only way I’m updating is if I get reviews because I don’t really know if this turned out good or not. Like I said this is my first time writing an angsty fic.
Glossary: I shouldn’t even have to translate these words. If you don’t know these words by now you are not a real Naruto fan. That’s just how I view it.
