Looking around at unfamiliar surroundings, the first thing that Uzumaki Naruto noticed that was different were the strange creatures that dotted the landscape. The strangest were what appeared to be pink blobs of jelly hopping around. There was the occasional yellow blob.

Next, were the huge green worms that crawled along the ground along with the white who jumped around looking for food. Then there are the large, but beautiful butterflies that flew about and, Naruto blanched, the waist high pulsating cocoons which rose from the ground.

Taking in all these strange sights, Naruto sighed and pulled out a storage scroll labled `clothing.' Unraveling the scroll, he bit his thumb and ran the blood along the seal, a black shirt, a blue vest, and a pair of black pants that offered comfort and freedom of movement. Taking off his ANBU armor and putting on the clothes, he examined the reason why he was in the strange place in the first place. The sword.

It lay on the ground, as magnificent as ever. The guard was circular, and the handle was elegantly carved. Both the handle and the guard were a dark gray color. The blade, double edged, and made of silvery blue metal that was surprisingly light.

After examining it, and finding nothing strange about it besides the fact that it sent him here, he strapped it on his back using the strap for his ANBU sword, which he put away.

“Now, I need to find out where the hell I am.” He said as he took off into the trees.

As he leaped through the trees with the sword strapped to his back, he began to notice that the air was getting hotter and drier.

“Great, there must be a desert nearby. Just what I need.” Naruto muttered to himself.

While he was busy contemplating what to do, he noticed that there were kids who were gawking at him. They looked to be no older than him, yet they only wore simple clothes, a backpack, and carried a knife. Some of stopped killing blobs to watch him streak through the trees. After all, how many people do you see that looked like they weren't even employed leap through the trees like an everyday activity? Smiling to himself, Naruto decided to ask for directions seeing as he could use them. Jumping down, he landed right next to a group of three kids who jumped and screamed at his sudden appearance.

Scratching the back of his head and looking sheepish, Naruto asked. “Hey, um, can you tell me what's beyond that desert over there?” He pointed to the sea of sand that was only a couple meters away.

The group looked at each other before one of them answered his questions.

“Well, the only town is Morroc, which is kind of infamous for its thieves from what I heard. Then you also have the Pyramids, and Sphinx, which are burial tombs Osiris and a Pharaoh. From what I heard, its really dangerous there since there are a lot of strong monsters and demons.”

Naruto perked up at the mention of demons and monsters. Another one spoke up.

“Yeah, and there's also the famous Assassins Guild which nobodies been able to find except for those who got lucky and qualified to be an assassin.”

Naruto blinked. “Assassins eh? Sounds interesting.”

“Well, thanks a lot, I need to get going now. BYE!” with that, he disappeared in a blur, leaving the three novices of the world blinking.

“That was weird…”

“Yeah…”

“…..”

“…..”

“…..”

“Lets not talk about this ever again”

“Agreed.”

And so the young novices returned to discussing which jobs they want to be and killing more rabbits and blobs.

Naruto soon found himself in the middle of a desert, fending off the hungry wolves and the giant scorpions that were the as long as his forearm and hand.

“Ugh, what is with this place and its giant-ness.” Naruto groaned as he plunged his ninja-to into the neck of another wolf.

Fighting his way through the monsters, he wandered into a part of the desert with ruins in the middle of an island surrounded by…

“WATER!!!!” as our hero rushed towards salvation.

Yes, water, it was surrounding a tiny island with the leftovers of ruins. Caring nothing about that, our hero continued to rush towards the source of fresh, cool, life-giving liquid only to stop and stare.

Prowling the large oasis were the strangest creatures Naruto had ever seen (so far anyway). They were what appeared to be giant humanoid ogres made out of stone. They had what appears to be spikes of rock for hair on a bald head and huge tusks protruding out of the corner of there mouths, which curved inwards horizontally so that they looked like ant pinchers. Their mouths were filled with sharp teeth and they had gleaming red eyes. To make them more frightening, they had no hands and fingers. Instead, their arms are columns of pure stone that looked perfect for smashing off an enemy's head.

Gulping, Naruto cautiously approached them. As he neared, a few of them looked up at him, seemingly trying to decide whether he was a threat or not.

Apparently, he wasn't a threat to them so they returned to doing whatever they were doing. Naruto sighed in relief as he went to replenish his water supply.

Nightfall:

The fire crackled merrily as Naruto sat staring at the fire, thinking about this strange new world with its even stranger creatures.

Flashback:

Naruto had just lit a fire when he spotted something out of the corner of his eye. What appears to be a walking cactus with yellow needles was boogying across the sand. It jumped and caught sight of Naruto. The strange creature blinked before it started dancing backwards, where it fell down a dune. It reappeared and continued along its merry way, still hopping and dancing. Nauto sweat dropped.

End Flashback.

Naruto chuckled at the memory, and thought about another strange occurrence while he was filling his canteen.

Flashback:

The canteen spewed bubbles as air was replaces by a combination of hydrogen and oxygen. The sound a rock on rock brought his attention to the ruins, where two of the stone giants were, apparently, clobbering each other for the attention of a female, not that he could tell. But that looked like what they were doing as two were fighting while another watched.

The golems comically traded `shock wave blows' as they pounded the ground with their two arms, which sent out a shock wave that seems to make the other flinch.

Then, one of the golems swung at the other with his arm, which collided with his opponents head and sent it spinning around on his shoulders instead of it flying off. The two repeated the cycle until one of their heads came off, leaving the victor to go and `court,' as that is what it seemed, with the one who was watching. The loser was left to pick up its head at which it failed to do.

Naruto sweat dropped and decided not to watch anymore.

End Flashback:

The next day found Naruto wrapped up in his ANBU cloak struggling against a furious sandstorm.

“Damn it,” he muttered, “Stupid sandstorm popping out of nowhere.

Still struggling, our hero continued on into a direction where he hopefully will be near the end of the storm.

A battered, tired, and sand filled Naruto staggered across the sand, fighting off the piles of sand with faces that attacked him in swarms.

One of the sandmans rushed at him, throwing back its arms to try and crush Naruto between them. Our hero leaped up and formed and seals.

“Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu! (Fire element: Balsam Fire Technique)”

A rain of fire balls crashed down a upon the sand creatures, who seemed to be weak against fire as just one fire ball dissipated one into regular sand. Landing on his tired feet, he drew the sword that sent him here, and slashed at a few more. The blade easily went through three of the sandmans. Sprinting away, followed by the creatures, he spotted a bridge and a building. On tired legs, he hacked, slashed, punched and kicked away at the sand creatures and the occasional scorpion.

Reaching the bridge, he leaped forwards, twisted until he was gliding with his back parallel to the ground while his hands flew through seals.

“Katon: Karyuudan Endan!! (Fire element: Fire Dragon Flame Missile)”

A huge jet of fire shot out of his mouth and exploded into a wide stream of flames, turning the sand creatures into glass while cooking the scorpions and the lizards that just joined the chase.

When he stopped blowing fire, all that was left was a field of glass, glass monsters, and charred scorpions and lizards. Panting heavily, he collapsed on his back, sweaty and tired, unaware of the shadowy figures that watched him from afar.
