Jessica blinked a few times as she stared down at the new set of clothing that now laid folded in her hands. It had taken her at least two hours to scrub the floors and walls of the room they were going to use the most while they were there. Once she finally finished her work all in one piece, she glanced over to see that Sasori had returned and handed her master a bundle of clothing after mumbling something to him. Deidara then shrugged his shoulders a bit without giving the man a reply. “I wonder what they're disputing about now.” She thought with a raised eyebrow as she sat on her knees with a filth filled towel in her hands.

“Hey slave,” the blonde said as he turned to look in her direction. Seeing that he had gotten her attention, he threw the bundle into the air where it soon landed beside her. “Put that on would ya? That outfit you're wearing now wouldn't be good for me if you wore it in public.”

Sneering, she crawled over next to the small box shaped package. “I don't look that bad.” She grumbled as she picked it up in her hands. Glancing from the clothing that was currently wrapped in the parcel, to the man whose eyes told her to do what he said; she then stood to her feet with a slightly annoyed look on her face as she made her way back to the bathroom to change.

“She's not half bad after all, Sasori-San, now is she? When you were gone I got her to clean this whole room.” He said with raised eyebrows as his partner looked at him dully before slowly glancing around the room. After his inspection of the place, his gaze landed right back on Deidara who was waiting for a reply.

“And your point is?” The blonde then waved his hand in dismissal as he turned to walk to the other side of the room as he seemingly waited for the girl's return. His back then stiffened as the other Akatsuki's voice was made heard again. “Deidara-San don't think you're getting out of paying me for the brat's clothing.”

When she shut the sliding door shut, the girl then set the package on the edge of the sink as she untied the strings that held it all together. As she unfolded the paper, it revealed the traditional kimono-looking Asian top that was a red, cottony material, along with black knee-length snug shorts and black sandal-looking shoes. Sighing, she slipped her shirt off over her head and replaced it with the new top that kept everything in place. The first reaction she got was how horrible it looked with the shorts she currently wore. Rolling her eyes, she pealed off her shorts and pulled on the new pair, along with sliding on the shoes. Looking over herself now, she didn't think she looked half bad though something still didn't seem right to her. A few seconds later she decided it must have been her hair. Besides the fact that it was as messy as ever, the short hair style just didn't go with the trend.

“And this is why I don't wear these types of clothes.” She stated as she stared at the reflection of herself before leaving the room. As she picked throughout her hair with her fingers, she walked down the hall to the room where her so called `master' now stood. “I've changed; can I have my meal now?” She asked as if expecting him to ask her to do yet another chore.

The two men then looked back at the girl who stood in her new outfit. “Good choice, Sasori-san,” Deidara said with his hand on his chin as he inspected the girl up close.

“Hello, the food?” The girl said waving her hand in front of their face.

“Sure, sure, whatever,” The blonde replied as he tossed her a piece of bread from the inside of his cloak into her hands. Jessica stared down at it with disbelief. Was he joking? Did he really expect her to live off of that bread that's been heaven knows where? There was no way that she was going to eat it! She would have been better off finding berries in the forest than try to last for the next five hours on this! She wouldn't allow herself to be treated so poorly, even if she were a slave. With a build of confidence, backed up with her anger towards God's decision to do this to her, she commented on this action.

“You've got to be kidding me!” she said with a great deal of frustration in her voice as he started to walk away. Frozen in his steps, he slowly turned to look at the annoyed, confused face of his new servant. With her hands on her hips, and every feature of her face seemingly all going inward, she looked like an all natural angry house wife.

“What did you say kid?” He replied as he looked down at her with a frown. Jessica clenched her fists as she became flustered with what was happening to her. She was hungry, and she wanted food, real food! Not some cheesy rip off of a meal!

“How on earth do you expect me to be your man slave when being kept alive on a smelly piece of rotting bread? Where has this thing been, really? Seriously, I don't deserve this! I work my butt off after you exhaust me by telling me I wouldn't get my dinner if I didn't do it. And once I do it, and I did a good job of it, I get this? Give me a brake, this is so retarded! I wasn't even a slave to begin with until five hours ago when those stupid men mistook me for a slave!” She yelled as she stomped her foot down on the ground. She would not tolerate this any longer. She was not someone that someone could just push around. The man then grabbed her wrist and gripped it tightly as the girl fell onto her knees. “Ouch, let go of me!”

Looking down at her with a serious face, he bore into her now anger filled eyes as he spoke words he needed her to remember. “I'm your master, and I don't care whether or not you like my conditions. You will listen to me, or I might just as well kill you.” After glairing at him for a few moments, she sank her head in defeat as the man released her hand from his grip.

“This isn't fair God, why are you letting him do this to me? I know I'm not perfect, but I don't deserve to be treated in this fashion. Why did you have to take me away from the world I belong in Lord?” Jessica questioned as she looked up towards the sky, where her eyes met with the brown ceiling.
