“So, what are we doing next?”, a young man with bright blue-eyes and spiked-blonde hair eagerly asks, as he leans forward.

Only to be answered by an older-male with silver-hair and a lackluster-look on his partially-covered face points towards a waterfall to the teen's left, “This time, we're going to cut a waterfall”

“A waterfall…?”

“You're going to put your hands against the waterfall and cut it with all the wind-chakra that you can handle”, a second older-male with spiky-brown hair and dark-eyes says, “In order to do that you'll need to instantaneously produce enormous amounts of elemental re-composition”

“And if you can clear this stage then, if nothing else, it means you can start to use it in real combat”, the fair-haired male continues.

“So it I complete this… It means that I've gained my first elemental re-composition?”, the teen questions.

“Yes, Naruto-kun”, the brunette replies, while the other-male simply nods.

“Breaks over!”, Naruto exclaims, standing up, “Time to get started on the training again! Dattebayo!”, he adds, starting to unzip his two-tone; orange & black, jacket.

Just as he reaches halfway down the zipper, a huge shockwave of air pulses through the area.

“What the…?!”

“Where is it coming from?”, the dark-haired male questions.

“It's coming from the forest”, the other male states, “Eh? Naruto, where are you going?”, he asks, when he notices his student running towards the woods.

“Where else…? To check it out!”, he exclaims, vanishing among the trees.

“That's Naruto-kun for you, easily distracted. Right, Kakashi-sempai?”, the brown-headed man comments, “Kakashi-sempai?”

He realizes that the silver-haired ninja had vanished from his side, and it didn't take two guesses to know that he had gone after the blonde-teen, before heading in that direction.

“What the..?”, Naruto whispers, as he approaches the clearing that the pulsing was orienting from, he could see a ball of multi-colored lights slowly collapsing in on itself.

“Naruto!”, he heard his silver-haired teacher call out, causing him to glance over his shoulder.

The orb quickly implodes drawing Naruto's attention back to it, just in time to watch it expand and explodes in a storm of smoke.

Suddenly a figure flies from the center of the smoke straight towards a tree to his left, and though sheer luck that he had gotten over his shock to move his feet and intercept their impact with his body as he catches them.

“You alright, Naruto-kun?”, he heard his other teacher question from behind him, along with the footsteps of both of his teachers.

“I'm fine, Yamato-taichou”, he replies, as he lays the figure onto the grass, “But…”, he trails off, looking down at the person.

“Hmm?”, Kakashi mutters, as he follows his pupil's eyes down to the figure.

“A young woman…?”, Yamato gasps, staring at the girl in Naruto's arms.

She was dressed in a dark-blue sleeveless short-kimono with a blue-violet trim over a fish-net shirt that covered moderate-breasts and held closed with a grey cloth-belt, she wore a dark-grey collar-scarf around her neck and navy-blue arm-bands that stretched from the back of her palms to almost her shoulders with matching mid-thigh high leggings that vanished into a pair of coal-grey boots, her long ponytailed hair was the same shade of bright-red as autumn-leaves.

“Hey, are you alright? Dattebayo”, Naruto asks, after he hears her moan in discomfort.

“Huh…?”, she groans, slightly opening her eyes to reveal orbs of blue-grey from between long black-lashes, before they vanish again behind the lightly sun-kissed flesh of her eyelids.

“Where did she come from?”, the blonde teen wonders out-loud.

----------------

“Oh…”, Aiko groans, as she slowly blinks open her eyes and groggily stares at the sky, `How long was I out for?', she mentally asks herself, as she visually locates the position of the sun, `I'd have to roughly estimate about an hour or so…'

“Are you awake?”, she heard a male's voice question, as the same blonde-teen she saw before losing consciousness suddenly pops into her field of vision.

She stares up at the face in front of her own in a daze for a moment, before she bolts upright; forgetting that the male's head was in close proximity to her head, causing their foreheads to collide with each-other.

“Itai…”, they both mutter in pain, as they clutch their heads, Aiko rolling onto her side and the male sits back onto his butt.

“Ouch, that had to hurt…”, she heard another male's voice comment, causing her eyes to snap open at the realization that she didn't recognize the voice; or the one belonging to a third male who scolded the second male.

`Who are these people?', she wonders, as she fearfully looks over her shoulder at them and finds two other men standing over the teen; one had shaggy brown-hair and the other had long-spiky silver-hair, both looked to be in the mid-to-late twenties and were wearing the same outfit, `Are they the enemy…?'

She cautiously sits up and starts to slowly inch away from the males while observing her surroundings, `But where the hell am I?', she ponders, slowly getting to a crouch.

“What's going on?', a female-voice asks from behind her, causing her to turn and sees a young woman also around her age with shoulder-length light-pink hair and jade-green eyes, wearing a red shirt with off-white sleeves and a mid-thigh length navy-blue skirt, and a basket hanging from the nook of her arm, “I thought you were training. Are you taking a break?”

“I was just about ready to start the next-step, when it was interrupted b an explosion and her flying out of nowhere”, the teen replies, pointing at Aiko.

“An explosion…?”, his friend mutters, before dropping the basket and rushing to her side, “Are you injured anywhere?”

Aiko could only shake her head in response to the kindness that left her too-stunned to speak.

“We bumped heads, Sakura-chan”, he states, still holding his forehead.

“You have a hard head, so you're fine, Naruto”, Sakura replies, as she moves Aiko's bangs from her face to examine the growing welt on the center of her forehead, “It's only a small bump, so you should be alright”

`What the hell…?', Aiko thinks, blinking in confusion, `Come to think of it, none of them are wearing `the' uniform'

“So, what's your name?”, the blonde teen asks, suddenly putting his face close to hers and making her lean back in surprise.

“My name is…”, she utters, `I can't tell them my real name, there's still a chance that they are the enemy…', she mentally decides, “My name is Saizuki Aiko”, she partially lies, as she watches the other female jerk the male out of her personal-space.

“I'm Haruno Sakura”, she introduces.

“My name is Uzumaki Naruto, Dattebayo. Pleased to meet you!”, the blonde excitedly exclaims, “That's Kakashi-sensei”, he states, pointing towards the silver-haired man.

“Hatake Kakashi, hello there”, he lacklusteredly greets with a wave.

“And that's Yamato-taichou”, Naruto informs, indicating to the other male.

Aiko nods in acknowledgement when she makes eye-contact with the brunette.

“A little warning Aiko-chan, Yamato-taichou has a face that can control you with fear…”, he quietly continues, leaning in close to her ear.

“Really…?”, she quizzically mutters, examining the older male, “I can't see how…”

“Trust me, he may look normal now but he can look frightening at will…”, Sakura confirms.

“I see…”

“So Aiko-chan, where are you from?”, the blonde-teen asks.

“That's kind of hard to say, considering I don't even know where `here' is”, she replies, looking around.

“We're currently on the outskirts of Konohagakure, Dattebayo”, he states with a huge-grin.

“Konohagakure…?”, she mulls, “It's Naruto, right?”, she questions, earning a nod from him, “To be completely honest, I don't even know the name of my hometown”

“Why is that?”, the pink-haired teen earnestly inquires.

“You see, my homeland is in the middle of a war and my family has been forced to be constantly on the move”, she answers, while nervously playing with her fingers; displaying her discomfort on the subject, “And as far as I know there isn't a Konoha-anything in my homeland”

“War…?”, Naruto blinks.

“Pray tell Aiko-san, how is it that you got here?”, the silver-haired adult named; Kakashi, asks, as he approaches.

“Well, I…”, she begins while blushing, “I was trying out a new jutsu and it exploded on me, and the next thing I know I'm here”, she embarrassedly responds.

“Kakashi-san?”, Yamato whispers to his senior.

“Her body-language supports her claim and she isn't skilled enough to effectively lie…”, he quietly states, “She `s lying about a portion of her name, most likely her family-name…”

“Do you think she could be a threat…?”

“It's too early to tell, should probably keep an eye on her just in case…”

“Understood…”, the kohei nods, watching the three teens.

“Wait a minute, Sakura-san mentioned something about training, right?”, Aiko recalls, “Does that mean you're a ninja, Naruto-san?”, she hopefully exclaims.

“Y-yes I am, why do you ask?”, he answers, slightly taken aback as he watches her face light up.

“Could you please teach me Ninjutsu?!”, she pleads, getting onto her knees and bowing her head to the ground between her hands, “I promise to try my hardest, so please train me…”

“Huh…wha…?”, he gasps in shock.

“Aiko-san, are you sure you want to be asking him?”, Sakura says, while attempting to stifle a laugh.

“Huh? Why do you say that?”, she inquires, lifting up her head.

“Naruto didn't exactly gain top-marks for his skills, if you know what I mean”

“Huh…?”, she confusingly blinks, “So that means you're just an amateur…?”, she questions, pointing at Naruto.

“Aw Sakura-chan… Don't say it like that…Dattebayo…”, he groans, looking dejected.

“Well, that was three-years ago… But I don't think you'd want to start learning from someone whose very spontaneous”, she recants, “Besides, he's in the middle of training”

“Oh yeah…”, she mutters, looking pitifully at the ground, `Barred from learning Ninjutsu again, fate must really hate me…', she woefully thinks.

“But I could probably teach you some basics”, she continues.

“What…? Really?!”

“Sure”, she nods with a smile.

“Then what are we waiting for? Let's get started!”, Aiko exclaims, standing up only to stop and begin to blush at the growling-noise emulating from her abdomen as she holds her stomach, “I-it seems I'm hungry…”, she nervously laughs, “Do you think we could go get something to eat before we start…?”

“Sure, we'll go get some lunch before we begin”

“Can we get ramen?”, Naruto asks.

“I thought you were in the middle of training, Naruto-san?”

“It can wait another hour”

“Okay, we'll have ramen”, Sakura sighs.

“It isn't instant, is it?”, she questions, as they lead her from the waterfall-clearing.

“No, we're going to the greatest ramen-restaurant called; Ichiraku!”, he joyfully replies, “You're going to be in for a treat. Dattebayo”

“Just so long as it tastes better than instant-ramen…”

“You'll have to wait and see”

“Is it alright to let them go?”, Yamato questions, watching them walk away.

“They'll be fine”, Kakashi reassures, “Besides, look on the bright side Tenzo, you're getting to rest a bit longer before Naruto resumes”
