Neon Genesis Evangelion Fan Fiction / Utena, Revolutionary Girl Fan Fiction / Fan Fiction ❯ Halo: Death and Rebirth ❯ Training for the Unknown ( Chapter 2 )
Aali woke up to the sound of `Eminem' blasting through the house. She shot up out of her bed and got dressed enough so she could go out and see what was up. And when she did, she saw all of the Spartan's but herself and John switching between pushups and sit-ups…at John's command. She knew that John wasn't gonna make her do the things he was making them, but instead of enjoying the break, she jumped down next to Eric and started her pushups. John walked over to them and bent down to her, and just like in the Military…had to yell everything he said.
"What are you doing Soldier?" he asked.
She didn't stop doing her pushups, but did answer.
"I am training sir!"
"You know that is unnecessary for you Soldier, get up!"
"No sir, there is never enough training after all!"
John stood up and nodded to her, as he ordered them to change and go back to their sit ups.
About 2 hours later, the training was done for that day. Aali pulled the wet scrunchy out of her hair and shook her head ferociously to let all her hair down, but her hair was only down to her shoulders. She walked until she reached John's room and she knocked, he told her to come in, so she did, and she smiled as she did.
"Nice training session" she said.
"Why were you even in there Aali? You know you've already done all of this."
"I know," she said as she walked to him, he was laying on his couch, and watching her every move, "But I don't want to happen to fall behind just because I already know all of this…"
John nodded as he continued to watch her, he checked her out when she looked away, after all…she was very good looking for a girl that had grown up a Spartan. But she turned back, and he was laid out more, very comfortable probably, and he was giving Aali such a look.
See now, you have to understand, Aali and John had been together for such a long time, but they NEVER had any kind of sexual contact, so for John, and a little for her…it was built up.
Aali continued watching him and she walked around him, and then he gave her that smile, as for John, for being the Master Chief, he did have a perfect smile, and the most beautiful eyes. Aali walked to him slowly and he grabbed her wrist, pulling her down to him, and he held her there as he kissed her, as if he didn't want her pulling away, but she wasn't. She was kissing back as much as he was kissing her, she threw her legs over his waist so she was straddling him. They had a sexual attraction to each other, but no other really…they were basically, sexually tempted best friends, Friends with Benefits even, well, until David finds out.
They continued the kiss as John's hand crept down Aali's back and to her lower back, but then a knock was heard and the door swung open, John quickly pushed Aali off him without realizing what he was doing. Brian was standing there with Sammy and Doug, along with a new person. John stood up.
"Who is this?" asked John, looking to the new person.
Aali stood up and looked at the new guy, he was tall, around 6'2, Pale and Skinny.
"My name's Michael Grinsted" he answered as he stepped forward, but he looked behind John and saw Aali, "And you…you're the first girl I've seen around here."
"I am the only." Answered Aali.
John stepped in front of Mike again.
"Anyway, I'll do up your paper work, until then, go out in the training room and meet the other Spartan's."
Mike nodded and walked out with Sammy, Doug and Brian after Sammy handed John the papers.
Aali stood where she was as John turned and his eyes fell on her again, he smiled and shook his head as she started to walk out and he walked to his computer…amazingly, it was funny to both of them.
Aali continued walking aimlessly until she reached the training room, she looked in the tinted windows at all the people she knew that were training, but her eyes rarely left Doug, Sammy, Eric and Mike.
Later she went out and got the mail, most of it was addressed to the other Spartan's, but there was something addressed to John, it said it was from "343 Guilty Spark". She walked back in still trying to guess who `Guilty Spark' was. She found John and handed him the package, unfortunately, he sighed and then moaned, "Not Guilty Spark!"
He then opened the package and it was a telegram.
"Hello again Master Chief, thought I was destroyed on Halo, eh? Sorry, but luckily I got out with The Flood, so…I still get my second chance at destroying the human race, and I have The Flood's help. See you in a week 117."- 343 Guilty Spark.
John shook his head and sighed again.
Aali looked at him.
"Who is this Guilty Spark?"
"Guilty Spark is the little monitor I had to follow in order not to get lost inside Halo, and he won't let me live it down, but I was betrayed by him, he tried to kill me…fortunately, I got away and I thought he was destroyed on Halo." John sighed, "But I guess not…"
Aali nodded, and John looked up at his Spartan's.
"Eric, track the signal, find out where 343 is, we're not waiting for a week to come, we're going to take him and The Flood out, in 3 days!"
They all looked around and nodded with determination.
"Aali, continue training Doug, Sammy, Brian and Mike…the rest are ready, teach them whatever you think they need." He said, "We need to move people, Go!"
Everyone darted in hearing the determination from John. Aali took Mike to go get his MJOLNIR armor, he was so unprepared for the change in his movements, but Aali was very worried for him, after all…he was the only Spartan that didn't have the Augmentation (Reach)…hopefully he wouldn't be in the real line of Fire.
2 days passed and Eric found the location of 343, and just as John guessed, The Flood was there too, the only problem was…they had no way of getting there. And what else bothered John was that obviously, 343 knew where John lived. Aali walked up and told John that Doug, Sammy Brian and Mike were ready, John nodded and told them to rest for the rest of the day. But the only reason he told them to do that was because he had NO IDEA what he was going to do next.
