A long trek back home for the pilots and the deployed crew of Nerv seemed worth it as they made it back home with no problems aside from minor turbulence. Still Jet lagged Misato already knew the cure for the problem a quick shot of imported Jack Daniels whiskey and she'd be back on her feet or the floor in no time. Inside Nerv both Doctors found themselves refreshed from their short leave "I heard they combated Jinn a few days ago." Ryo said as he presented his ID card to the scanner allowing him access into his office. "Well it seems the crew here did pretty well." Kenji referring to the large stack of files with a post it on top of them detailing why need to be clarified and reviewed. "Honestly this is just harassment, haven't they heard of E-mail?" Kenji laughed at his friends comment "in any case we got work to do, who knows when we'll be called back to speak with Gendo and his minions." Working away they first sorted the files based on the dates. "Nothing much other than some details on the life of Noah and his last days." Kenji said almost sounding bored with this job. "We've given them the meat of the research any thing more is just a waste. We still have to figure out when the next Angel attack ".

Misato, Shinji and Asuka found themselves awake after sleeping for nearly the entire trip, being 10 am, Shinji made breakfast for the two women. "I don't care if they paid me ten times my average wage; I wouldn't work in that oven." Misato said as she downed a shot of whiskey "how's your arm doing Asuka?" Asuka still felt the pain from the injury "it still hurts but the pain comes and goes." As they ate the phone rang. Shinji stopped eating and looked at the caller I.D. "Horaki Hikari" he answered "hello." A slight pause occurred "is Asuka there Shinji?" She asked in usual one of voice, Shinji gave the cordless to Asuka how in turn took it and retreated to her room. "At least she's not yelling at you for no reason I think the Angel fight changed her." Misato observed as Shinji went back to eating his meal of ramen "maybe." He quietly replied, "Are you going to do anything with your friends on your leave?" Misato asked trying to make conversation with the quite teenager.

"Maybe, I don't know what they have planned. If nothing comes up I'll be here trying to take my mind off everything and just relaxing." Shinji responded sounding bored "I bet Toji and Kensuke will be here by noon, those two sure do go out of there way to see you." Shinji frowned "I think they come to see you." Misato thought back when all the young people were taking pictures saying, "we love you Misato!" She laughed, "Well they sure do have good taste then after all a woman like myself is epitome of perfection." Shinji groaned "then I'm sure Toji is your ideal man." Misato finally got the mute to open up and loosen up "he's just a younger Kaji, I like the more quite ones, and they seem mysterious and have that certain charm to them." Shinji smiled, as he looked in her eyes "which reminds me, I know all about the little episode Asuka pulled at the psychiatric evaluation. Let's just say the words Dr. Satoshi used to describe Asuka aren't fit to be spoken from a classy ladies lip." Shinji laughed.

For the rest of the morning Shinji listened to this Ipod jumping back and forth between classical music and the latest pop songs. "Mozart and Megumi sure make an interesting combination." Misato had left to attend a meeting with her commanding officers. Asuka still in her room talking to Hikari led Shinji to doze off as the rendition of Beethoven's moonlight Moonlight Sonata. Came up as the featured song on his play list. A soothing melody over took his senses as slowly closed his eyes. Falling asleep, he didn't notice the door open as Asuka put the phone down "great the third child is sleeping like a baby." deciding to leave him alone Asuka went back into her room, she'd have to meet Hikari and few other friends at new Shinjuku to shop and gossip as she frequently did, unknown to her just down the corridor outside the apartment Toji and Kensuke made their way to the door "you think Misato is home Ken?" Toji eagerly asked "probably but I wouldn't count on it, remember Shinji told us she does work late so she's probably sleeping or something." Kensuke casually said as he knocked on the door. Shinji was off dreaming of something surreal and was deaf to the outside world. Kensuke knocked once more only to have Asuka shout something out "Get the damn door Shinji!" Toji groaned as he heard a familiar voice, he folded his arms "only she could ruin a perfectly good afternoon." Once more she yelled "admit it Toji, you two are more alike than anything." Kensuke replied to his friends stubbornness, before kicking the crap out of Shinji Asuka finally got up and answered the door. "Great its you two, Shinji is asleep." She scornfully said almost ready to slam the door on his two friends.

She let them, as usual Shinji was sleeping the couch Toji moved him so he could sit down as he took the remote and changed it from the news "geez doesn't he watch anything remotely entertaining, Ken wake him up." Toji ordered as he started flipping through various sports channel's Kensuke shook his friend trying to wake him up. Shinji slowly opened his eyes seeing his two friends sitting on the couch "you gonna sleep all spring break?" Toji asked as he grinned at the blocked adult channels "damn who knew all the good stuff be blocked out." trying to break the code that Misato had placed on the channels he gave up his futile efforts and continued flipping through the channels. Still a bit groggy he turned off his Ipod and stretched out his arms "I didn't know you two be here so soon." Toji shrugged "what happened to the ogre back there?" Despite Asuka presence in the other room Shinji didn't speak he knew her hearing was superb and soon enough she busted out her room with her fists clenched "its none of your damn business!" Toji looked at her in her short cut denim jean shorts and tight bright red shirt with the word "fire" across the bust "is that so? Well we haven't heard from you two in nearly a week and you come back with broken arm, what's the deal?" Toji asked as he put down the remote expecting an answer from the attractive red head she sat down on the couch adjacent to them "a combat injury…" She replied trying to keep the unnecessary information out. "Fine, if you say so ." He mumbled as they sat watching the flat screen T.V "so where does my woman keep all the good stuff at?" Toji arrogantly said as he thirsted for a beer "the hell if know, when I moved in all the booze was gone." Asuka protested at the notion of drinking from Misato's liquor bar, the two of them looked at Shinji "what I don't drink."

"Unlike you three losers, I have plans today. I'll be back later on hopefully you three won't be here when I get back." Asuka said as the door knocked she walked to the door leaving Toji and Kensuke to admire her slender body as her round heart shaped butt swaying from side to side. "If she wasn't such a bitch all the time she might be attractive." Toji thought as he looked over his shoulder catching a glimpse of Hikari and her friends "Honestly Toji, one of two things are going to happen either your going to date Hikari or your going to end up dating Asuka." Kensuke observed as he cleaned off his glasses "Shinji how do you deal with living with her?" Shinji shrugged "I just tune her out and keep myself." Toji laughed "Shinji do you know how many guys in class are jealous of you?" Kensuke asked as the thought of Asuka in her short jeans and he slender legs made a lasting impression. "Believe me she's always loud and takes all the hot water when she takes a shower, she very selfish and egotistical. I hate living with her at times, nothing would satisfy me than throwing her out the window." Yet he knew he wasn't getting through to his friends as they were still thinking about Asuka.

Hidden away in an undisclosed location, inside a darkened room with dimly lit lights Gendo sits at the end of the table with several files from the Ararat excavation. "Good afternoon Gentlemen, shall we being this meeting." Gendo professional addressed Seele as the heads of the organization had sat according to their rank within the organization. "These files have are a complete contradiction to the very knowledge of the Angels and the second impact!" One of the members angrily said "by all means, Dr. Hazuki files detail that the flood was caused by an angel which would cause the second impact to be the third is ludicrous! Yet your only saving grace from the these files is the very Angel that appeared two weeks ago." Another voice said "by all means, this encounter with the angel has shown us a new light before we considered the creation of mankind to be the first impact and the incident in the artic to be the second. Now we know that the angels have appeared throughout biblical times and the fourth impact is near according to the work from Doctor Takeda and Hazuki."

Gendo reaffirming his case and standing his ground "tell us Gendo, how is that you can work with a man that spent his life working away at this while you sit in his very seat. The animosity between you two goes back before the creation of Nerv." Gendo tried not to let his personal feelings on the matter arise in this meeting. ".

"It seems that allowing the two Doctors to find out this information was rather helpful." A raspy voice said "yes it was, now that our plans are slowly setting in motion we now able to enter the very next phase of destroying the Angels and advancing our own goals." A deep voice replied, much of the deliberation went on amongst themselves while Gendo took called in for a ride back the Nerv, the meeting went rather well but the issue of Ryo burned his blood. "Just like Shinji always hiding behind others, while not confronting the matter at hand, his failure to present the information to Seele fifteen years ago is his own fault not mine." Gendo contemplated as the black car pulled up his driver got up and opened up the car door. Once Gendo was in walked back to his seat and drove off.

Inside Nerv's testing facility Misato looked over the battle data from the encounter with the angel in the middle east. "These numbers don't add up, are you sure this is the synch ratio's from the three children?" Maya nodded her head "I've never seen the ratios have such a dramatic flair to them, it's a shame that Asuka and Shinji can't replicate these results on a daily basis." The repairs and arming of the Eva units was a process that would have the best mechanics working for hours on end. Every armor plate was specially made and cost a fortune to repair. "How are they doing Major?" Makoto asked as he worked away on a program that would enhance the targeting systems. "When I left they were relaxing and acting civil." Misato responded as she drank some coffee "some would say having two teenagers in one house is bad idea, after all one thing can lead to another. Just how long do you think until Shinji Makes a move?" Misato nearly spit out her coffee, she wiped her mouth "Shinji is far to scared to even approach her, I don't think he's ever kissed a girl. But give him time though." Makoto continued to work away, she placed her hand on his shoulder "listen I need a favor, I need you to access Dr. Hazuki's files. The information contained in his databases could provide more insight to these fallen angels." She gave him a kiss on the cheek before she left the terminal room where Makoto started hacking into the internal computer networks.

"I didn't know you had another lover." Kaji said as he wrapped his arm around Misato "are you jealous, that I've found a man treats me well?" Kaji shrugged as he walked down the corridor with his old girlfriend "well from what I've seen he's far into the friend trap and you know it, its not nice to lead people on." Misato folded her arms. "Even if he's a friend he cares for me and has been there during the worst times something you never did." Misato shoved him away as she walked towards her office leaving Kaji standing alone in the hallway. "Yet I wasn't the one to leave for no reason when we were so close…" Kaji walked back down the hall.

Misato sat at her desk, first she logged into the terminal and started reading the files Makoto had sent to her e-mail. Once she started investigating the truth behind the finding her brown eyes lit up "so what I was given a week ago was only the tip of the iceberg. These Angel findings predate the second impact, why the hell are Takeda and Hazuki hiding this from the rest of Nerv?" Various names on the findings clued her in to the intricate network the two doctors had contacted in order keep these findings classified information. "Adam is merely a pawn to the Angels, although Adam exhibits immense power. This power is only a fraction when compared to the very first fallen angel…Lucifer. Various texts in the Vatican have incredible detail on his power. It is said in the time of darkness a beast with seven heads will arise from the lake of fire to seek vengeance on the creations of the lord, a mark of the beast will be seen on the foreheads and forearms of those that see it as a idol and method of salvation. As predicted Nerv will try to combat the fallen angel first hand, I fear that by this hastily move they will be the downfall and the cause of the very act humankind has feared since the dawn of time… Armageddon." Misato took a deep breath, as she continued to read more of his notes and plans. "Currently Gendo Ikari is using the findings as a means to progress his own career, my colleague Kenji Takeda has expressed his distress of this matter but isn't as vocal about it as I am. Although Gendo is a respectable man I fear he will misinterpret the work and use it as a means of intellenge towards the destruction of the Angels. Little does he know that in the first stone tablet I fully understood the translation yet told the rest of the Nerv, it would take a week to translate. I lied, what the tablet said was something that took me awhile to comprehend and fear…" Misato folded her arms "just what the hell is going on, I understand Nerv doesn't have the intelligence to decode and the texts but if this is going to jeopardize the Eva's I can't risk it." She opened up the next group of files that Makoto had sent her.

"In the first tablet, Noah wrote down the accounts as to why God flooded the earth and left his family alive. From the very voice of God Noah foretold that Humanity was corrupted by the sin Adam and Eve caused in Eden and the first spilled blood of Cain when he murdered Abel. As Noah wrote his this account God then foretold him that several fallen Angels had walked the earth further corrupting mankind into committing the worst sins. Rather than send his Arch Angel to combat the fallen Angel he flooded the earth by sending Talmud. Yet Talmud was corrupted by Lucifer and during the process of the flood and it was dragged straight to lowest levels of hell where he resided until the flood had ceased." Misato made a printout and placed the files in her desk she then logged out and called back at her appartment. Where she found a message left by Shinji. "Misato, I've went out with Toji and Kensuke, we'll be back later on…Misato how about you and me having di…." Misato laughed at Toji's offer before the answering machine cut him off "honestly if he focused all that energy on trying to get Hikari than me, then he'd be a lot happier." She thought as she took her bag and walked out of her office she locked the door and walked down the corridor. Walking down the hallway to the elevator upon entering the parking garage she walked to parking stall 666 where she opened her car door and started her car. "Just as I thought, there is more to this discovery. Thankfully Makoto had sent me some of the Doctors files. I hope what where dealing with isn't going to start the end of the world."
