Sanji started around the empty kitchen, it was always like this before and after every meal. It got lonely, he tried to ignore the loneness that was tugging at him. He could hear, clearly, the talking and laughing going on above the kitchen. "I wish someone was here with me," he sighed. * Up stares* "Zoro get away from me!" Nami yelled pushing the drunken Zoro to the floor. He smiled, despite the fact that he looked like sh**. Luffy sat down on the coach, next the assistant navigator (they picked her up a few weeks ago), Kara. She stared at him, then back at zoro. "I think I'm goin go help Sanji in the kitchen," she said as she got up. Luffy nodded and warned her to be careful around Sanji. After the dishes had been washed, dried, and put away it was almost midnight. "I enjoyed your company," Sanji said, smiling. "Whatever..." she thought, but what came out was "yeah, me to." She went over to the fridge and grabbed a snack, before heading to bed. "Goodnight, Kara" Sanji called out behind her, but heard no reply.

*the next morning* "Yo, Luffy! An island." Nami called out. Everyone headed for the deck. "Wow land..." Once they hit land Zoro took a nap, Kara, Nami, Robin, and Vivi went to sun bath. Sanji went shopping for dinner, Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper went to build sand castles. "Nami, do you think I'll ever navigate as great as you?" Kara queried. "Yeah someday." she responded. Vivi smiled at the fact that Kara was so devoted to being a navigator. "Kara, do you want to help us build sand castles?" Luffy questioned. Kara nodded, and got up. After almost an hour Zoro woke up, "Hey, where is everyone?" he roared. "Out here, Zoro." He beat the floor with every hard step he took. "Zoro clam down, please." Vivi uttered. He let out a growl. Kara's eye wandered from the sand to Zoro, who was standing there in his boxers (he wears underwear!) and nothing else; this made Kara turn9 Shade of red Zoro put some clothes on!" Sanji bellowed. Zoro again growled and went back inside. "It lunch time!" Sanji called after an hour. Everyone but Zoro came to the table. "Should I go get Zoro." Kara asked. "No that's..." "No I insist." She jumped up and ran upstairs. "Is it my cooking?" Everyone shook their heads. "Zoro, you in there?" She heard a loud grunt. Zoro had the door locked so nobody could get in. "Zoro let my in, please." She heard the lock click, and the door knob turned. Zoro just stood there as if he had nothing to say to her, but he did she could see it in his eyes. "Uh... you want to come in?" She nodded. She looked around the men's quarters. "Wow its really nice in here." Zoro sat on his bed leaving just enough room for Kri. "Is something wrong? "No, not at all. What gave you that idea?" "Oh, nothing, I just..." He scowled at her. "Stop it, Zoro." He was gawking at her. "ZORO, stop it NOW!!!" She stared at him, he was drooling. "Zoro..., I'm goin'' He put his finger on her lips "shhh.... It'll be alright." She took in a deep breath. "Kara...." he gazed into her eyes "You remind me so much of Kuina."

"Who?" "My dear, long lost Kuina." She couldn't distinguish the look in his eye, it was a mix between pain and lust. "Zoro..." she smiled, this look in Zoro's eyes might scary people that didn't know him, but it made her happier then ever before. *downstairs* "Do you want me to go see what they are doing up there?" Luffy asked. "No, I don't think you want to know." "But they will miss dinner." "NO, I SAID NO" Sanji roared. Luffy sank into his chair. *back upstairs* "But, Zoro." Kara murmured. "Don't worry..." Zoro said with a smile "No one will ever have to know." "You and I will know." "Don't make this complicated." His soft gaze comforted her. She smiled and nodded in reply. Zoro cradled her in his arm, this made Kara feel safe. She watched his loving gaze move over her. She loved and trusted his movement, and everything about him. She smiled and let him know everything was alright.

"Kara, do you believe in fate?" She nodded. "Well, I think fate brought us together." "Oh, Zoro!" She said thrusting her arm around him, the force of the impact made him grunt.
