Jase awakened slowly.His vision blurry and distorted. He moaned softly,and tried to sit up but was imeadiatly pushed back down by a small hoof.

"Stay still. You took a nasty bump to the head when you fainted." A small, child-like voice said.

"I don't faint.."Jase grumbled as he again tried to sit up but was pushed down again.

"Right, well then you took a nasty bump when you just somehow lost consiousness" The voice said with slight sarcasm.

"Grr...whatever..."Jase reached up and rubbed the goose egg of a bump on his head and again attemped to sit up and when the hoof tried to push him down again he smacked it away. "Don't touch me..I'll do what I want.."

"YOU'LL DO WHAT I SAY!!" The child-like voice disappeared and was replaced with a furious one.

"Alright alright!" Jase laid back down and crossed his arms over his chest. His vision had grown better by the minute and soon he saw the owner of the voice. He looked down at the reindeer and blew out a sigh ,mumbling "Worse then my mother..."


A childish laugh filled the room and caught Jase's attention right away.

"Hey there! So you're finally wake ,huh?! Well good!" Luffy bounced into the room,quite literally.

"Oh god..." Jase just closed his eyes and tried to tune the ship's captain out.

"Hey! Didja' faint again?!" Luffy was now screaming into Jase's ear.

"No..I didn't faint..I mean I don't faint!" Jase's eyes shot open as he looked at the smiling Luffy.

"Really?! Cause that's what it looked like to me! Haha!" Luffy pranced around the room,seemingly unable to not move for one second.

"Well it wasn't. There's something wrong with your eyes...baka.." Jase mumbled the last word under his breathe as he scooted up without the reindeer noticing.He suryeved the room,looking at every board and every crack.The wood looked worn and some places were patched. The wasn't what bothered him.What bothered him was that the were at sea!

"So what's your name?" The gruff voice of Zolo stabbed into his thoughts. He had entered without anyone noticing,which was made apparent as Luffy grabbed his chest as he eyes bugged out,and how Chopper screamed.

"Where'd you come from, Zolo?! I thought you were sleeping!" Luffy screamed,which wasn't needed since he was only a couple feet away from Zolo.

"Shut up and let the guy answer!" The shrill voice of Usopp rang as he entered the room.

"Yeah Luffy..." A much calmer ,and feminine voice blew like a breeze into the room.

"Aw~! Alright!" Luffy perched at the end of the bed,looking down on Jase with wise eyes.

"Uh..." Jase looked around the room,staring into each face in turn before looking back at Luffy.

"My name...is Jase...Jase Einteiler.." He sat there silent after that,looking at the expressions on the Straw Hat crew's faces.

"Wow,that's weirder then Uhuh!" Luffy laughed loudly and started rolling on the floor.

"Not as weird as Monket D. Luffy.." Jase mumbled under his breathe.

Zolo glared at Jase."What did you say,boy?!"

"I said not as weird as Monkey D. Luffy,or Roronoa Zolo!"Jase shouted, infuriated at how he was being treated.

"Wait! How could you know those things?!" Zolo and Luffy yelled in unison,both wide eyed and confused.

The rest of the Straw Hat crew were staring at him,perplexed at how a person they just met knew who they were. Chopper took a step back and hid behind Nami's leg,shivering with fear. While Usopp was standing there,running things over with a fake expression of fearlessness.

"You better answer or we'll have to torture it out of you!!" Usopp yelled,lying of course.

"You liar...none of you have ever totured a fly. And anyways,there's only 6 of you, hardly threatening" Jase said with a scoff as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"We have 3 thousand crew mates,all blood thirsty pirates. You just saw a few of our weak ones!" Usopp,still trying to scare Jase by lying,had sweat slipping down his face.

"Again,you're lying. There's only 6 of you. There's you,Usopp,liar and sharp shooter, Nami.theif and navegator,Zolo,master of the three blade fighting style,Luffy,Captain and wanna be Pirate King,Chopper,resicdent doctor and half-human half-blue nosed reindeer,and Sanji,chief."

They all just stood there,filled with fear,and slightly impressed. Jase just pushed the covers off of him and stood up,streching. He noticed that the whole Straw Hat crew took a step back when he moved,and this made him smirk.

"Any other lies you want to tell Usopp, or are you quite finished?"Jase said with a hint of malice. He had always hated liars..even though he was probably the biggest one.

"Uh..yeah" Usopp gave a short nod.

"How-how do you know all those things?" Nami was next to speak,her eyes as wide as everyone else's.

"Uh.."Jase thought for a second. He could tell them the truth and maybe get them to help him find a way back home. Or..he could lie to them and make them help him find a way home.

"Uh..I ate the KnowKnow devil fruit." He said with a smile,fake,but convincing.

"Oh..no wonder!" Luffy laughed,still not making eye contact with him.

"Makes perfect sense!" Usopp chimed in,looking away.

Zolo just grunted and walked out of the room while Nami came a little closer with Chopper still at her leg.

"I've never heard of the KnowKnow fruit. What powers does it give you?" She stood in front of him catiously.

"Well..I can read minds and look into the past,present,or future pretty much." Jase lied through his teeth ,but kept eye contact,a useful skill he had developed throughout his childhood.

"Oh..well that's....wow..so can you tell me what I'm thinking about right now?" She said in a voice daring him to use his power.

Jase was a bit taken aback. He hadn't thought of the whole guessing numbers bit. This girl is good.he'd have to watch her. But for now..

"Of course. It's 7." Jase mentally crossed his fingers.hoping by all that could be hoped that he was right. What was shocking is what happened next.

"Oh my god,yes!" Nami half-screamed half-sqeaked as she looked Jase up and down."How did you know?!"

Jase stood there for a moment,looking as suprised as she did before speaking. "Well...like I said,I ate the KnowKnow fruit. Simple as that. But I don't usually like to abuse my power like that so please don't ask me to guess numbers anymore." Nami nodded" Alright. I won't." Jase let out a small sigh of relief.At least he had dodged a future bullet.

Chopper was slowly moving out from behind Nami,sizing Jase up for himself.

"Where does this KnowKnow fruit come from?" Chopper sqeaked out in his usal shrill voice.

"Uh..a small uncharted island.IU couldn't tell ya where.I just washed up on it after my last ship sank and after a while I was hungry and found a tree with some fuirt,I decided something to fill my stomach was better then starving to death so I ate and oddly I got less hungry for food,and more hungry for knowledge. Strange fruit,yes,but better then dying." God,his lies were starting to amaze even him. He looked around and then look down at his clothes which seemed to be borrowed from Luffy's wardrobe.

"Yeah, I know what you mean" Chopper said sypatheticly.

"Mm..hey,can you tell me where my clothes are?"Jase asked the small reindeer.

"Uh,yeah. We had to hang them up after we cleaned them,they're on the deck." Chopper announced

"Ah,ok,thanks" Jase pushed past a blushing Nami. This confused Jase for a few moments. But as soon as he got on deck he knew why.

His clothes were all hung up,like Chopper said, but Jase didn't think he meant ALL of them. Right there in the morning sun were his black boxers,hanging for alls viewing pleasure. He quickly snatched them down as a ship filled with women happened to be passing and wold whistles were heard from it and other,more abscure comments were made.After he had gathered all of his clothes he went below deck and changed. He was now back in his own clothes and feeling a little better, but something was pulling at his mind.

"Hey Zolo!" Jase called out to the swordsman who was napping in the sun. But as soon as Zolo heard his name he woke grumpily.

"What?!" Zolo groaned.

"Where's my binder?"Jase asked,poking Zolo's side,who seemed to have fallen back asleep.

"Yer what?" Zolo grumbled.

"My binder you bum! I had it when I..uh..came aboard the ship.Where is it?" Jase had ,had to stop himself from saying his world.

"You mean that weird little book with all those papers in it? With the skulls and nude women?" Zolo had opened one eye and directed it at him.

"Yes..: Jase said wearily.

"Sanji has it. He thought it'd make good fire starting material."Zolo said off-handishly.

"What...did you say...?"Jase's face had gone dark,his eyes not visible and his voice changed quite a bit.

Zolo just looked at him as if nothing were wrong. "Just go get it from Sanji..."

With this Jase stomed down into the ship,death on his mind,and not his own.

Well me hopes ya liked it! Don't you just HATE when people use yer stuff to start fires. I mean come on. They're taking all the fun away from us! Well next chapter will be up as soon as...well I finish it. Review someone people. Though I do like th ONE review I got.I'd like others too,even though the One Piece fanfics aren't the most popular on mediaminer. We're still here!
