Nature's Fury

A flash of lightning,
A streak of light against the stars,
When all they tell are lies,
And there's no one you can trust,

The rain comes pouring down,
Its sprays of water blurring the sky,
When it seems your secrets are all you have,
And it hurts to much to cry,

The wind comes howling,
Disrupting rain's steady downpour,
When you just want to flee,
But your wings are broken,

And you can no longer fly,
