Did you ever fall in love?

Have you ever believed

That you are all alone?

I used to be like that

But then I met someone

And I fell in love

With the world, with my life, I fell in love with you

Did you ever fall in love?

Have you noticed how much I

Seem to hang around you lately?

You are so wonderful

But I can't say it to your face

I guess that's just how life turns out

I love you more than I ever thought I could

I didn't see it coming

No one thought it would

And I hope

And I pray

That you'll see me in a different way

Today

And it makes my heart ache

That you see me as a friend…

I get that twisted feeling

In the pits of my heart

When you show up near me

I wish you saw me the way I see you

Too.
