Crushed velvet is my color, pick my tombstone our
Now open up my coffin that I may lie down (to rest)
I've endured a hatred and fear for so long
Now, I can die for your tears have gone
 
Love's final hymn plays, again and again
The joy that touched my soul was the sorrow from your lips
—A poison kiss, the venom is so…
 
Tears of darkness fall down your perfect face
For to drown me in your Fears
Brought before the gates when love and death embrace
 
Roses wither away, ever slowly wilting away
The writing upon the wall shall fade
The feathers of the night shall glide away
Our hearts our dead…
 
The light of hope slowly fades away
The light of love slowly dies in you…
