Last Soiree
Silhouettes ablaze in Darklight
Death finds its home in the shadows of the night
Finding solitary cause to shine
Upon the dread what defines your life
The veil, divine and pure
Torn to shreds of shame and fear
Love beats soundly to the tune of her Requiem
And fate falls slowly into lament
Dark waters fill the grails of our sacrifice
And divide the shards of her soul
Hidden in the oceans of wine I cross to find her
Fermented from the blood of demented perversion
The souls of sacred dreams cry all your fears
As the wings of darkness dry all your tears
The precipitous flares of embers wrought upon the wraiths of her despair
A broken weir is the cage to the darkness of all her impurities
In purgatory, snares of the devil's fair hair
Capture unsuspecting prayers in dread
And in this tainted world the dark of twilight unfurls
Drunk on the shadows of luminescent light
Shadows of death forsake the guises they've shed
To digest the souls upon which they've fed
And Lilith's eyes mesmerize
The precocious heart of Holy War
Death decrypts all of the blood and shite
Of the Firmament of decadent guts and gore
From Babylon writhes through the Terror skies
A serpent that Medusa hath sent
Dredging the lakes of the Ancient Horror States
Looking to find where fate doth hide…
In the dark forests of your mind
We shed the veils of our smokescreen cataracts
Only to view a world scorched by their blackness
Come let us raise our grails
In toast, to the fucked up heart that fails
And tip our hats to the existence that fades
We take a sip of dread to this, our Last Soiree
To this, our Last Soiree…
