Like an amaranth so beautiful, so fair
Before her classic beauty, none compare
Her face is lovelier than a budding rose in bloom
And hair spun of onyx on a golden loom
With an angel's voice and a touch so soft
And lips as fair as forget-me-nots

Before the sun shines but after the rain
She dances and sings in joy once again
Her dance as elegant and comely as fairytale prose
I watch in adoration as she steps to and fro
Upon the stage with a spotlight on her
She dances as an angel would so forever I'll watch her
