Who Is She?







For the world,
That wishes to see,
A masked girl,
No one knows she bleeds.


Doing the impossible for others,
Forgetting her own life.
Worrying about the secret of hers,
Living through strife.


Angering the one she loves,
Putting their wants next.
Hurting her dove,
Another stab in the chest.


To her friends, they don't know,
For she doesn't say.
A shadow as she goes,
Walking with her mask away.


Denying the truth from the world,
So no one sees her tears.
Still dying on the inside is her innocent girl,
Crying from her past fears.


'Privledged' they say,
Little do they know.
That when she wakes up each day,
The tears continue to flow.


"You have no reason to cry,
Because you have it all.
Living with your real family under the sky,
you have no reason to cry when you fall."


They don't see,
What lies beyond the skin.
They're blind to her agony,
Behind that masked grin.


With self-rage, she continues on,
Knowing she'll leave one day.
No one will notice she's gone,
In a new world, on her merry way.
