A Dangerous Fight

The skies fill with wings,
Along with the heavenly armor.
Demons and people fear from the beings,
Knowing this war will be filled with gore.

Their leader, the one angel without mercy,
Flies without the sickening fear on her face.
An angel that grew up a fighter, not a royal curtsy,
The one angel that accepted anytype of fate.

She descends when she caught her prey,
Her army follows with their speed.
An army of demons below of red and grey,
Start making their weapons as agreed.

The meeting of metal sparks,
Red oozes down to the dead.
Many demons call for more from loud barks,
As the angels call upon heaven to mend.

The leader fights through the less,
Searching for the who leads.
Causing a bloody mess,
She finds the leader filled with greed.

He pulls out the glass sword,
A smirk on his deformed face.
His bronze flickered off his armor,
Though a demon, he had some grace.

The angel pulled out her staff,
Preparing for anytype of fight.
For this fight she couldn't just give half,
In all of Heaven's name, this land needed light.

Slashing and blocking,
The demon forces himself upon her.
Using his own ability was quite shocking,
Who knew his sword had lightning to cause a spur.

With a stab here and a cut there,
The angel and demon continue their duel.
Each pulling a trick, neither being fair,
Only one would come out the fool.

As he pinned her to a tree,
She kicked herself out of his grip.
Not even a demon could deny her to not be free,
The demon, raged, stepped on her staff and made a trip.

Taking advantage of this,
The angel grabbed her staff and flew to his end.
But he rolled, causing her to miss.
A horn then came again.

The demon snapped her staff,
Ripping his claws deep in her skin.
His red eyes screaming as he bellowed a laugh,
His fangs glittered through his vile grin.

The angel showed no fear,
She swore she'd fight to the end.
Though it had laughed, there was nothing she could hear.
Now this was her battle, no one could help her, not even a friend.

Using what power she had,
The angel tried to fight back.
It was useless, the demon just got more mad,
Power was what the angel lacked.

As she was thrown down to the ground,
The demon kicked what was left of her body.
He shoved her face into the dirt, his foot weighing too many pounds,
Her vision losing, her senses getting groggy.

Just before she knew her time was done,
The burden was off her head.
The angel looked to see the demon was gone,
Her savior had come for her stead.

He killed the demon who harmed her so,
Taking off it's pitiful life.
The angel looked up and saw his earthly glow,
His eyes as sharp as a knife.

The battle was done, thanks to her love,
He, and his army, had come.
Her savior took her in his arms near a grove,
"Now, my love, the battle is done."

Those who lived soared high,
Cheering for their two.
The angel, and her love, looked to the sky,
The sky was it's beautiful blue.

The angel kissed her savior,
Joyous and filled with harmony.
She said, her eyelids getting heavier,
"I love you, my dear sweet Anthony."
