[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Today

Today I was scared for you

Today my dream came true

You came back to today

And you swore you'd stay.

I jumped for joy

You smirked and said I was coy

I laughed and you smiled

And said I resembled a child.

The one on Christmas day

That when it snowed I rolled in it like hay

I made an annoyed face

We started to walk at a faster pace.

My second dream came true today

But I didn't know what to say

I told you I was having your child

And you went absolutely wild.

You were acting happy

Plus you were getting sappy

Then there was a loud bang

And you went down as I sang.

Today you died

And today I cried

For you left me all alone

And so I've become monotone.
