Traveler

Everyday I wonder

How you are and where

You call every now and again

But you seem distant.

I wonder if you've found another

To love more than me

The town says I'm crazy

That travel is impossible.

But I know it's true

I've been places

I've seen my dreams

But youseem troubled now.

You worry me dear

My lost little traveler

The one without a home

I pray every second you comeback safe.

I hear the engine

But when I look you're gone

It's been ten years since you left

And now it's time to say goodbye.

By the time you find this

I'll be gone; dead to the world

I've waited and you never came

I love you my traveler but goodbye.
