The Extentof My Love

How far is my love? From here till the end

The extent of my love goes much further than “friends”

To the ends of the earth, down into the earth's core

I would go just to prove I could not love you more

I've loved you in stages but now it's just plain

love as it comes—pleasure, not pain

And I could say I love you again and again

Take your love away from me and mine would remain

Sometimes I feel I love you so much I could cry

This might sound clichéd but without you, I'd die

You're my dream come true and the apple of my eye

My love reaches out to the heart and soul

I tried to hold it in; now, it's out of control

And everyone knew it…well, everyone but I knew

that a love I denied was shining right through

So, from strangers to friends, then from friends to…who knows?

How deeply we'll connect as our love slowly grows?

My love goes so far, not a second goes by

that I don't think about you. Need you wonder why?

Well, if yes, I'll confess, without you, the big mess

was the heartache of past love that kept me depressed

Till the day I met you and me you befriended

Then you took the time to show me love was extended

For now and forever, you can always believe me

My love's everlasting for all eternity
