What Your Friendship Means To Me

To date, we go a while back and I'm proud

to say you are my friend and I'd say it out loud

You have kept a steady relationship with me through all our ups and downs

I'm happy to say, right here today, that you are still around

You were sent to me when I needed a lift

after I broke up from a faulty relationship

to help ease my mind and, as I came to find,

you saw beyond my faults `cause you're one of a kind

 

Never truly did you forget me; you always kept me as an important part of you life. So I say thank you again and again because you are truly in my heart

 

You saw things I thought no one knew in me

Your nature inspired me poetically

Your patience was so needed and you aided my every need

You gave love another chance—for my heart, you were the key

Through it all, we have remained good friends

I pray that our friendship never ends

You're very special to me and I love you dearly

And that's what your friendship means to me
