Oh, brother, how I think at times of you

Wondering if I'm in your thoughts—it gives me the blues

Such beautiful memories…I guess they couldn't last

Such a brighter, more beautiful life we had in the past

To ponder where you're now at and if you lover's loving you

the way I did—the way I do…oh, only if you'd say you love me, too

To even say it lightly or even platonically

Would serve my soul stupendously—infinitely!

I wonder if your lover is loving you, hugging you, true

To give you even a fraction of the love I still hold for you

My one desire, my one temptation, you are, by far

The only man in my universe... My biggest, brightest star

To say “I love you” is only a start to deal with you—only a part

of what's been held so long in my soul—baby, in my heart

I miss you so much sometimes it brings me to tears

Though we've only known each other a few paradisiacal years

It feels like an eternity. To sit and wonder…honestly...?

It's like I'm a single element missing its sole purpose

If only you could just come to me, sincerely, and take away the curse

of a broken heart, regret, sorrow and pain

If fate gave us another chance, I'd never hurt you again

Never take advantage of you—never is a promise

So much to get out of a single, solitary kiss

So much to feel, reveal, and ultimately begin

I'd never make you a loser; our love would always be a ways to a win

Maybe obsession is the term; I see my life as sole

if I never have another chance to unite us as a whole
