*Authoress proceeds to kill her*
It was the next day after the previous incident. Junseiotome had finally decided that she was going on a journey. Later in this chapter we will describe why she is on this journey but not now. Let’s just say she was tired of becoming a cat demon. She walked into the head priestesses hut. There the Head Priestess sat making a soup with many herbs. She looked up and smiled at her apprentice.
“Ah Junseiotome what brings you here?” she asked smiling.
“Head Priestess, I am leaving on a journey.” Junseiotome said sighing waiting for disapproval. The Head Priestess stared and nodded with understanding much to the shock of Junseiotome.
“This is about your transforming at night right?” she asked. Junseiotome nodded in response. The Head Priestess sighed knowing she may try to run away even if she did disapprove.
“Well you can leave but I want you to stop by the town where the Emperor lives it seems that one of the Emperor‘s daughters has fallen ill.” the Head Priestess decided. Junseiotome groaned but she agreed. Junseiotome went to her hut, she had already had her things packed so she picked her bag of herbs up and left.
Meanwhile the young dog demon finally had found his sister and told her what had happened the night before. Of course he got slapped in the back of the head.
“Aikouka you idiot!!!! If I were here I wouldn’t have let you off so easy!” his sister screamed. Aikouka got up and rubbed his head. (Yeah he has a name)
“Jeez Shisuta you would’ve pulled all of my hair out and made a kimono out of it.” he whined. Let’s take the time to describe Shisuta’s appearance. She had short dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She too had dog ears and a tai. Her kimono was short kimono with short sleeves and was purple. It was tied with a blue sash.
“Well duh of course I would have!” Shisuta replied. Aikouka stared into deep space thinking.
‘Still what a demon I swear I could smell her scent…wait I can!!’ Aikouka suddenly ran off in the opposite direction screaming back to his sister.
“Gotta go smell cat demon bye!!!” he screamed. Shisuta waved and went to walk away when it hit her.
“Oh no…..AIKOUKA!!!!!!!” Shisuta screamed running off in his direction.
Junseiotome continued to walk down a path. Of course that peace wasn’t going to last long. Suddenly the dog demon from the previous night was standing in front of her.
‘Just great! Well at least he doesn’t recognize me so there can’t be too much trouble right?’
“You strange priestess!!” he said pointing at her. “Tell me where the cat demon is!!!!”
‘Well so much for that thought.’ Since Junseiotome was just a priestess….with no spiritual powers she did the smartest thing anyone would do in this situation. She ran faster than her human body ever had before. That is until she came to a cliff with waterfall. She turned around to find that he was standing right behind her. Suddenly being the idiot that he was he lunged at her.
“No wait you id-!!” but it was too late. She fell backwards and so did he. They fell until they both landed in the water. Now Junseiotome wasn’t a good swimmer. So she couldn’t get above the surface. However Aikouka was already on ground. He turned around to notice that Junseiotome had not come up yet. He started to walk away but something said to save her.
‘Ugh it better be worth it to save her.’ he thought to himself. He jumped into the water to find that Junseiotome had just passed out and was laying at the very bottom. He picked her up and swam to the surface and then, to the ground. He laid her on the bank and stared at her.
“Oh no I am not going to revive her too!!” he said to no one in particular. Luckily he didn’t have to because Junseiotome opened her eyes. She jumped into the air after seeing his face.
“AAAAAAHHH you saved me!!!!!” Junseiotome pointed out.
“No the waterfall fairy saved you…of course I did.” Aikouka said sarcastically.
“Why?”
“Because you know where the cat demon is!” he said as if she should already know that. Junseiotome walked over to a tree…and banged her head on it over and over again.
‘You’ll find out soon enough if I don’t get away from you’ she thought to herself. Once again she took of running. Aikouka of course was faster than her. However as soon as she was there she disappeared right in front of his face.
“What the heck?” he said out loud.
Junseiotome slowly came to a stop. She definitely lost him…well for now that is. Junseiotome looked in front of her to discover a beautiful sight. It was a simple large lake. It was connected by any rivers, only in it’s little spot. Junseiotome proceeded closer to the lake and sat by the edge of the water. Something about the water….was…different. When she looked in the water she became shocked. Her reflection was that of her demon self. She was certain that she was human.
‘Do not fret young priestess this lake is special.’ said a voice that came from nowhere. Junseiotome stood up and jerked her head around the area. She was really getting scared now.
“Who said that?!” she called out to the air. Unfortunately for Junseiotome’s sanity, the air responded.
‘I am the guardian of this lake, however I cannot be seen.’ said the guardian. Junseiotome feared she truly was going insane. She waved goodbye to the air and ran out of the clearing. However it seemed the invisible guardian was confused.
‘How is it after many centuries Hikari’s Lake finally has someone pass it’s barrier?’
Done!!!! Another chapter finished!!! See I did make it longer than the first chapter. Well tune in for Chapter 3 soon!!
