Claimer:I am a pround owner of everybody in this fic!I own the point too!I think...unless that is a real place out there in the world...
Jesse was only seventeen but had to be mature for his age.Nobody could make him smile, never in the last five years. His blonde hair was only about an inch from his shoulders and a couple stands flung infront of his coal eyes. His body was well developed and was used to doing daily weight-lifting whenever he could. He was great at sports but didn't want to waste time or money on it.He had jobs and his family needed him to take care of them.Silently Jesse walked outside in the pouring rain. His white T-shirt soaked onto his skin, showing off a promising stie of his six-pack.His hair wetted onto him and his faded blue jeans with holes also got soaked on.Mud smushed beneath his old white sneakers. He grabbed the ball from the porch and jerked his hand back, bringing up a leg before whipping it at the side of an old shed that he had painted a red circle on for a marking point. The ball slammed into the side, hitting the red circle right on the dot,but something made Jesse feel like it wasn't enough. He grabbed it and whipped it again, faster and harder. It was probably the fastest and strongest bar that anybody could ever have thrown but it still wasn't perfect enough for Jesse. He yelled in anger and grabbed the ball again. He continued to whip the ball, making perfect shots but not good enough. It was a speed and strength that not even a professional could match.Jesse yelled again and whipped it,breaking a peice of the shed.He heard a door slam behind him and he turned around, squinting from the rain to see his father.
"Jesse!"His father yelled as Jesse weakly smiled, his dad was going to finally be happy and interseted that Jesse had done something! How his father would be proud!"You're gonna fix that so get to work."he nodded his head toward the shed and turned back to the door.He paused and siad"Your throwing is weak.Work on it more or better yet, give up because it won't be good enough for the big leagues, you'll never be good enough."
Behind Jesse's father,James, grey eyes and grey hair was a legend, one that Jesse tried to figure out but never succeeded, failing yet another time to figure something out. There was years of secerets within that stubbern fool but he seemed too proud to admitt anything to anyone. It was like he was afraid that he would be ruined or something. With his last words though,James went inside the house as his mother,Shannon, rushed to the door. She cracked it and yelled out,"Jesse get in here with no coat! You'll get sick and wet!"
Jesse headed towrd the door, obeying his mother when his father came to the door and blocked him,"No.He wanted to be out there like that he'll stay out there like that.At least until the shed is fixed and painted. And I don't believe that you can paint something in the rain so he'll just have to stay in the barn with wet clothes.Maybe it'll teach the boy a lesson."he said coldly.Jesse frowned and walked into the shed.He pulled the door shut and stormed in.He sat down on the ground and covered his eyes with his hands, sobbing. It wan't very manly but he didn't care.He wasn't stuck up and bottled up like his father. To Hell with his pride,it could burn with him for all he cared.Sobbing was just another thing for his father to be diappointed in him about. Was it really fair that his father got stuck with a reject like him?Jesse somethimes thought. He pulled his hands away from his swollen red eyes and pulled out boards, nails, and a hammer. He walked out side and put the board on,pounding it in with nails. He got a few big logs and built a small shelter from the rain at that spot.He walked back into the barn, jerking out a sander and plugging it in.Luckily it wasn't a big spot but since it was small he used a palm sander with fifty grit.He sanded it until it was even and than got out a pocket knife. He used a ruler and measured a couple striaght lines and took his knife down them, making small indents to match the regular boards.Than he got out white paint and painted the spot.He cleaned up and smiled at his work.It was perfect, even if he wasn't.He went to walk inside when the logs fell, stratching the paint job and putting little unwanted indents.Jesse yelled out in anger and observed how bad it was.The paint was now running and dripping off, making little bubbles among the rest of the shed from below that spot.Jesse knew that now he would spend his time chipping that off and painting and sanding and basically repeating what he had just did.
A couple hours later the rain stopped and Jesse finally decided to try to fix it but it was too wet now and would probably just end up ruining it.To say the least,Jesse would have to spend the night in the shed.He than looked at the pink sky,or maybe not even sleep. It was too late and he had a job to do.First was work at the farm, than the club.He was itching in his still wet clothes as he pelled his white T-shirt off, which in the pst had fromed into a second skin.He knocked on the door of his locked home so he could get a shower and get his stuff needed for work, which was a new set of clothes. His dad answered and opened the door.Than, just as fast as it had opened,it slammed shut.Jesse kept knocking but noboy ever came to the door again. With a sigh Jesse walked around the back of the house and reached a tree.He grabbed onto a high limb from jumping and grabbing it.His feet pushed off of the tree, landing on a lower branch.Jesseslid his hands up further on the limb his hands were holding so his wieght was equally balenced. From there he slyly and cunningly jumped and climbed his way to almost the very top.Once there he jumped off of it and onto a thin piece of roof from the second storey. One wrong move and he would wind up in the hospital. He slipped his fingers under the window, from the small crack that he had left open.He quietly pried it up.Once inside pancakes flooded through his nose and he was hungrey. His stomach growled but Jesse decided to grab a quick snack bar from a store on his way to The Point.Quickly he grabbed clothes and stuffed all that he needed into a backpack.Carefully, making no noise he snuk into the shower and rinsed himself clean. He soon got out and put on some blue jean shorts and sneakers. His hair dried naturally quickly and he grabbed his bag.He pelted the bag out the window and it landed with a thunp on the ground. He himself stood on the roof ledge, making sure to close his window almost fully. He turned around too fast and fell, scrapping and stratching himself. Finally his hands found a limb and his held on.He was sore all over from his ruff night and now his ruff morning.Gritting his teeth he pulled himself back up so he could make a cleaner way of getting to the ground.
Once he succeeded he grabbed the bag and ran over to a beat-up truck.Though barley running,it was something to drive and it had only costed three-hundred dollars, out of his own money. He backed up and pulled out, driving to his job on the farm first. Finally he got there and got to work.
Two hours of hard labor later they offered him to quit and eat, than get the rest of the day off.Jesse ruffly turned the offer down, wanting to earn his money, not just be given it.After another two hours of hard labor his job was done, and done well too.He than knocked on their door and the old man answered,"Great! The shifts off!Now you eat!"
"I'd love that but I can't.Thanks for the opportunity anyway. But may I take a shower here if you take money out of my paycheck?"Jesse asked.
"Nonesense!Take it out of your paycheck?!"The old man chuckled,"You did the best job ever that anybody could do!You derserve a tip!"
"That's alright sir,I don't think I deserve a tip and you need to take money out of my paycheck."Jesse answered modsetly. He did a decent job in his standers, nothing t brag about. But maybe that was because his father never thought anything was over decent so Jesse had it programed into his head too.
The old man finally agreed and Jesse got ready in baggy blue jeans and a tight black T-shirt,showing off his muscular figure. He pulled a brown blet around his wiast and let the extra just hang there instead of tucking it in.Than he pulled a black beanie over his hair and got into his truck, driving away to his work.
He arrived early for his work but put on a thing around his waist to stuff things in.Quickly he shoved straws, mints, and ketchup and other packets of stuff like that into his pockets. He than walked out on an early shift. He than guided people to tables and took there order.Noting everything quickly in a notepad he recieved all information. He left the cook the order and retrieved the drinks while the food was being cooked.Nothing special was happening.Just than a blonde girl walked up to him and put her face close to his,"Hey pretty boy, wanna play with me?"
Jesse made a disgusted face at the middle-aged woman and backed up,"Sorry lady,I don't mess with people over the age limit of fifty."
The woman's eyes balzed as she turned on her heels and stormed away from Jesse, growling with anger and flicking him off.Just than Jesse watched her whispered something in a tall, thick, muscular man, pointing and looking toward him as she talked. The man rolled his sleeves up and walked over to Jesse.Jesse remained his slumped form, leaning on a table, waiting for the order he had given. The man looked down at him and growled.Jesse looked up boredly and ignored the man, making the man's face glow a bright red color.
"Listen boy!I heard you were coming on to this beautiful lady!"the man grabbed Jesse's shirt collar.Jesse smarled, gritting his teeth and not liking the hold.
"I didn't come onto her and I don't like being TOUCHED!"Jesse yelled, connecting his fist with the side of the man's face. The man let go an stummbled back, coughing.Jesse than got the ready order and gave it to the table. The man charged at Jesse and Jesse jumped out of the way.He grabbed the man's lifted arm and twisted back fast and roughly, listening to a satisfiying crack. The man screamed in pain and anger as his hand remained twisted in the abnormal position. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he yelled.Jesse had felt this feeling many before and thought of it as nothing to cry about. He yawned and scuffed,"Some big tough guy you are."
Than Jesse continued with his work as everybody fell silent, nobody daring to speak. They looked from the crying man to Jesse and back between the two for what seemed interminable. It seemed as if everybody was afraid to talk for that they would get hurt also and they didn't want to wind up like the man.
The man ran out and the door slammed heavily. You could hear a pin drop,Jesse thought as he waited for a new couple or gang to walk in so he could take order.Than a group did walk in.Jesse walked over and took their orders and suddenly the dead room became loud and lively once again.Jesse figured that he had made a couple enemies that day because the man and woman must have had friends and his trustworthy friends would blurt out anything about him in five seconds flat, letting all of his personal information to the world to take and get his location so any enemy could find him and kill him,how nice it is to have friends like that, sarcasm.
Finally his shift ended and none of his friends showed up,that or they didn't bother to say hi,which was wierd seeing as they always did.He sighed as he opened the door of his pick-up truck and drove home.Heading right to the shed he painted it.He chipped off the paint that had ran down last night and didn't care about the small scratches. He than painted over that too. Finally the shed was finished and Jesse was once again hungrey. He walked up to the door and opened the screen door.He than opened the big white door and kicked his sneakers off, jogging over to the kitchen than.He shifted through the fridge and found old milk, nasty juice, and ruined food.It was true that they were living paycheck to paycheck and they barely ever made it to get good food.Tonight must have been grocery night because Jesse found a note saying they went to get groceries and that his dad would be home at nine sharp,it was almost nine right now.Outside he heard a car door slam and the regular door opened, letting his father inside.
"Clean up your shoes Jesse and clean your room,my daughters and son messed it up."That was all James said.He didn't count them as Jesse's brother's and sister's.He didn't count Jesse as a son.And now, since they messed it up he was to clean it?He wasn't even allowed into the house before!
"But I didn't make that mess."Jesse told him.
"So?You're old enough to clean it up.You're the oldest, now,so you can clean it up."James replied coldly,"Do you hear me Jesse?"he asked.
"Yes sir,I understnd and I'll get to it right away."Jesse gritted his teeth. His father abused him.Not physically but emotionally. He was always putting Jesse down.Jesse was called a woman by him because Jame said that only women cried and were that emotional.Jesse knew that he was emotional and he couldn't help it,it was his personality. At least when he was little he was independent when James had always played with the eldest brother,Jake, and taught him how to play baseball. But enentually his father quit on baseball, seeing the Jake didn't contain the power to be a pitcher and only was good at running, which he wanted to use in good source to run track, too bad that he never got that wish...
Jesse went to his room to find it tornadoed with toys and clothes.Tommy, his younger brother, had a date and must have made his way through his whole closet, what a picky fourteen year old.Tommy had brown hair that he kept styled like his role model,Jesse, except the fact that it was a light blonde color and not blonde. His bright blue eyes however gave him that pretty boy look that went perfect with his personality.Tommy did keep up with his muscular figure though,Jesse knew because they had a pole that they had drilled into the wall that stretched out a little so they could put their hands there, making it possible for them to do pull-ups.Jesse got to work right away with the room.Once clean he walked downstairs, looking for his dad,who seemed to have disappeared.Suddenly somebody came up behind him and wrapped there whole arm around his neck,in a choke hold tightly, making Jesse breathing difficult. They lifted him off the floor,in hopes it would hurt more that way.Jesse jerked his elbow back, conneting it with the person's face.He had a mad dash for the kitchen and grabbed a long sweeper. He swung it expertly, waiting for the person to come in after him.The person did,and much to Jesse's disappointment he was wearing a ski mask.
The man grabbed a knife that was drying and flund it a Jesse, who slickly jumped out of the way.The knife stuck out of the wall right beside his head.He dashed a couple more blows and finally the person ran out of knives. They than gave up and ran away.Jesse tried to chase them but the man jumped into a car and somebody in the driver's side pulled away quickly.Jesse stood there. He couldn't see the driver but had managed to see the license plate. He than quickly ran inside and scribbled it down,so he wouldn't forget it.He looked at a piece of paper on the ground and read it.
Kid,
You are interferring with us and we do not like that. You have fooled with us before and we didn't like it.So either don't bother us or you'll get killed. We can't have children interferring with plans. You are too late anyway.
Jesse sighed and took the claim on the couch, turning on the TV.He flipped noiselessly through the few channels that they recieved. It was wierd though, his family hadn't came back from the store yet and his dad was missing. He seemed to get left in the dust as the family continue to do everything with the pleasure of him not around.Jesse suddenly fell into a deep slumber,a dream that he never wanted to relive invading his mind...
Jesse,at the age of five, wore his bib's on and a straw hat that his mother had placed him in.The hat fell slighly over his one eye as he giggled.Him and Jake had been horseing around in the shed.the air smelled sweetly of soy beans and hay.In the shed the climbed to an above ground thing with a ladder. There was a rope attached to the center and it was fun to swing on.Since it was a small shed the boys could just jump and reach it.Jake went first, showing his littler brother everything and gracefully landing back were he started, handing the rope to Jesse.Jesse wrapped it around once in his hands, gaining a good grip and ran.Reaching the end of the the floor boards he gave a slight push and it felt like he was soaring.
He landed back perfectly and him and Jake took turns. Finally, after getting bored of that they crawled down and Jake layed down on something Jese couldn't identify.Neither kid knew that the machine was turned on.Jesse looked at Jake, head to the side slightly and put his hand down, hitting a button.A huge saw like thing continueously copped down and Jake let blood curddleing screams out.Their father ran in and shoved a crying Jesse out of the way saying,"Get outta my way bawl baby!"
Jesse fell on his butt, covering puffy red eyes from crying. It was too late to turn the machine off,Jake was dead. And it was all because of him, because of Jesse.James walked over and yelled loudly at Jesse. Finally he calmed down and said to Jesse,"Only women cry.Showing emotions is a sign of weakness. You show a lot of weakness...You killed your own brother Jesse!YOU KILLED HIM!"and with that he left as Jesse repeatedly shook his head no.
Jesse flung up so quickly that he flew off of the couch.Sweat slid off of his face and covered his body.He sighed and decided to take a nice long shower.Looking at the time, eleven sharp, he wondered if anybody was home yet, and if they were, they might be sleeping and didn't wake him.
He checked all of the rooms in the house and got no positive signs of life.He than got into the shower.Once in the shower he thought of his dream. It made him sick and dizzy. Before Jesse knew it,he fell backwards and cracked his head, knocking him out.Everything went black...
Only a couple mintues later he found himself almost drowning. The phone was ringing, tourmenting his poor ears.Quickly he jumped up and wrapped a towl around his waist, running downstairs. He picked up the phone,"Hello?"
"Is this Jesse Parkman?"a voice asked camly.
"Umm-yea,unless my name changed."Jesse replied,"Why?"
"We have bad news that you may not be happy to hear.I'd hate to tell you this Jesse but..."the person started.

A Past Well Forgotten
Chappy 1:A death threat
Jesse climbed down from his bunk bed and looked outside, still raining. His family wasn't the rich type,in fact, his family barely had any money and not enough to feed five children that's for sure.Jesse had been working for over six years at a small farm and it paid off well but not as much as he'd like. His second job had it's ups and downs though too.For example when he worked at this job, working as a waiter at The Point,a very popular club,he made tons of money, got to be around friends but something was always missing.Maybe it was lack of love from his father...No matter what Jesse did he was never good enough for his father.Jesse's standerds weren't even close to how high they had to be.His dad was strict and never hugged him,he never said that he loved him, never got him any gifts, not even one,for any holiday. He did, however, get all of the other girls and lilttle brother a couple presents. All the presents Jesse got came from either his grandparents or mother.About only five years ago he was blamed for killer his eldest brother, the perfect one,and his dad never forgave him from that either. To his father,Jesse was as good as dead.Chappy 1:A death threat

You are too late anyway.
signed,your future killer
The people were smart enough to cut and paste the letters so that nobody could identify them and couldn't get caught.Jesse was sure that it had something to do with that man but he couldn't figure out what he was messing around with.He always seemed to be messing into somebody's business and not know it,a bad habbit if you will.He was sure that he had never beat up,insulted,or even looked at the man before that though. What was his dad doing?Where was his dad, come to think of it,Jesse hadn't seen him in over thirty minutes due to cleaning the room.Jesse sighed and took the claim on the couch, turning on the TV.He flipped noiselessly through the few channels that they recieved.
