Friday Night at the Bar
It's Friday night. The stars were here to party tonight. Pandora
and Jemima stayed near the bar as usual. The designer looked over
at her friend.
"You going over to dance again?" she asked. Jemima downed her
beer.
"Uh-huh," she said. Somehow, Pandora wasn't surprised. She just
looked down at her glass. She had become used to all of this by
now. But still...
Meanwhile, Jenny was dancing in the middle of the bar. Of course
all of the attention had to be on her. Why wouldn't it be? She
wasn't the only either. Ophelia danced her way over to Jenny. She
only has one thing on her mind. The men are all watching. Their
eyes were looking for lust and blood. Jenny knows it too. She and
Ophelia briefly make eye contact. They knew what was about to go
down.
They are in their usual places. Pandora spotted Mona in the corner.
She got up and walked over to her. The designer wasn't feeling the
country music playing in the bar tonight. Mona looked up and
noticed her walking towards her. She only had one question for
Pandora.
"How long are we going to be out here?" Mona asked. The designer
only shrugged. The actress shouldn't have been surprised. How many
years have they done this? Too many to count. Was it always going
to be like this? Mona didn't know.
The camera went around the room. Andy followed behind. He had to
catch them in their element. Nothing should be fake. Some of them
knew that the camera was on them. They're used to it by now. Jenny
and Ophelia were counting on it. They wanted the attention focused
on them on their dance off. Mona's too wore out to care. Pandora
just looked at the camera and downed her drink. She leaned into
Mona's ear and whispered. The designer walked back to the bar.
"Welcome back," Jemima said. She held up her empty glass.
"Refill?" she asked. Pandora sat down at the bar. Jemima sat down
next to her. It wouldn't be long before they weren't alone. Pandora
and Jemima looked up to see Ian sitting next to them.
"Yo," he said. The girls just nodded at him. They looked over at
Jenny and Ophelia dancing with each other.
"Who do you think is going to win?" Jemima asked. Pandora shrugged
and shook her head.
"Jenny looks like she has it tonight," Ian said.
"I don't know," Jemima said. "Ophelia's got some fight in her
tonight." He looked over at her.
"You sure?" he asked.
"Yeah," she said, nodding.
"We'll see about that," Ian said. They all looked at the dancers on
the floor. Everyone else just partying and drinking tonight. This
party is going to last until sunrise. Everyone is used to it by
now. Still, they have to ask: how long will the party last? They
don't think about things like that. It's Friday night. They are
going to party it up until morning. Andy just wants to make a good
film.
