Jimmy walked into the bar, wearing a frown which was quite an unusual site for Rodney. Then again they had been apart for almost a year, he may have changed some over that time. Rodney already had a glass of Jimmy's usual poured by the time he arrived at the bar counter. It was crowded that night, some were dancing in the middle of the bar, couples of all orientations, shapes, and sizes. It was almost ironic how many people didn't really match in that bar. You'd see a severely overweight man dancing with a slim, beautiful woman as if they'd been together for years. And then you'd see a man and a woman that looked like they were brother and sister, or in some cases father and daughter, dancing together as well.
This was exactly what Jimmy loved about the place, it was quiet, small, and absolutely no discrimination came from anyone. That is, with the exception of Rodney, who was racist against Koreans, and African Americans. Lucky for him Jimmy wasn't racist against racists and learned to live with it. Rodney wasn't a bad guy, even though he was a shallow idiot in a lot of ways.
“Thanks,” Jimmy said shortly, picking up the glass and taking a long drink of it. It was already dark outside, and almost midnight, luckily the bar was open until two in the morning. “So, how are you and that doll-faced boyfriend of yours going?” Jimmy asked with a teasing smile, trying to forget the fact that Nick hadn't forgiven him. He'd font the crumpled up apology letter in his mailbox, and it really hit him hard like a kick in the groin. He'd never claimed to have no emotions, in fact, Jimmy had been accused of being too emotional, and it always took it as a compliment. But what Nick had done to him had hurt, and it only hurt worse to tell himself he deserved it, which he so obviously had.
“We're fine,” Rodney smiled. “You keep asking me about him, do I sense jealousy?” He teased, soaking up some whisky that a drunken crazed fan girl had spilled while trying to bribe he and Cody to make out for her. Eventually she'd given up and gone home, but not before knocking over the drink of the innocent man sitting next to her out of anger.
“Oh please, Rodney, there's plenty of single guys and girls out there that are a lot cuter than you, plus Nicky,” After he'd finished he wished he hadn't brought up that name, as he'd been trying to avoid it. He frowned to himself and looked down, pouting and wondering if Nick would ever care for him again.
“The relationship you have with him is so wrong…” Rodney's voice trailed off, saying the words under his breath, knowing Jimmy wasn't a fan of any kind of beliefs, prejudice, or hate. Then again he already knew Rodney was against people with relationships with other family members, as well as anyone that celebrated Halloween, most bisexual women, and a bunch of others he could've proudly listed if he had the time.
“There is no relationship,” Jimmy said bluntly. “He doesn't like me anymore, assuming he ever did,” He continued to pout. Rodney rolled his eyes and decided not to even reply, noticing that Jimmy was going to be over sensitive again.
“You should go get laid,” He suggested after a pause of silence. “I need to go tell Cody to get his adorable ass out here and help me,” Rodney patted Jimmy on the shoulder and then headed into the back room. Jimmy looked around the bar, examining the faces and trying to guess the relationship status of practically anyone there. There was an overweight woman in the corner that looked pretty alone, and the rest seemed hooked up. She didn't look sad really, but Jimmy betted she could use some loving that night, and considered her. Still he wished he could find a cute boy, his mind was currently set on men.
Darren sighed, looking at his reflection in the window on the door to the small bar he'd come across. It had caught his eye by the way he'd seen two women making out on one of the tables, and two men dancing together. It was obviously open to his kind, and it didn't seem overly sexual either. His only problem was the fact that he was wearing his police uniform, it was a long way to walk home and change to just end up driving back, and he was currently without a car. Sure, he could pay for a cab, but what he was deciding was did he really think it mattered that much that everyone could tell he was a cop? He sighed, hoping it wouldn't matter to these people that he was, and pushed the door open.
“Jimmy, I've just been made aware that I never really…” Rodney stopped himself and stared angrily at what had just come through the front door. Cody's wrist was in his hand as he had been tugging him out of the back, wanting him to meet his ex-boyfriend and best friend. But as the man in the blue uniform stepped in, he forgot everything. Of all the things Rodney hated, cops were his absolute least favorite. Out of past experiences, one in particular, he'd really run out of patience for them. And the worst part about this one was the fact that this one made no attempt to hide it, as if he saw himself as an actual human being that could even attempt to get along with anyone in that bar.
Jimmy was the only thing that stopped him from sending the guy away. While he wasn't in best terms with the police department either, Jimmy kept an eye especially on Rodney's judgmental attitude. Jimmy could be mean when he needed to, when he wanted to, and Rodney hated to mess with his bad side. And the things that set him off were the smallest issues, you never knew what would anger him with his bipolar personality.
Jimmy's eyes were locked on the newcomer; the scene of a cop coming into a small time bar without a suspicious look on his face was intriguing in itself. It wasn't the first time one had stumbled upon the bar while Jimmy was there, but most of the time they were a little more confident and even threatening looking. This one seemed as though he would have died instantly if someone would have simply poked him. He was just obviously nervous, and apparently trying to hide it but doing a horrible job of it, by the way he cringed whenever he brushed shoulders with another. He was small, somewhat short, thin and looked absolutely terrified, the innocent and uneasy expression in his eyes made him seem so susceptible, that's what drew Jimmy toward him most. He really hardly noticed the uniform after making not of the man's occupation, he was too focused on those deep hazel eyes, the dirty blond hair, and mainly the body, why was it that everyone looked so damn adorable in uniform? Jimmy stayed seated, just watching for the man to turn around so he could see the back.
Darren was relieved to see an empty table near the wall, and headed toward it immediately. No one had really taken any notice of him that he could see, which was good news to him. He thought he didn't want to be noticed, but yet that made him wander why he'd went there in the first place. He took a seat slowly, and as soon as he sat down he felt like he wanted to get up and leave right away. A bar honestly wasn't the place for him, he didn't smoke, he didn't drink, and he was too shy to ask anyone to dance. He just watched the crowds, forcing himself to stay seated as his eyes scanned over everyone in the bar.
“Hey, I'm Jimmy,” Darren leaped from his seat and practically flew into another table, crashing into a chair and knocking it over. He whipped around to see an amused smirk, the man was standing there, his hand on the back of the chair that Darren had been sitting in.
“Sorry,” Darren ran a hand through his hair, blushing deeply. That voice had been so close to his ear, he even felt the warmth of the man's breath lingering there on his neck once the situation registered. “You scared me,” He coughed, pointing out the obvious.
“That was the plan,” Jimmy said and circled the chair in front of him to sit in it. “Your face is red,” He implied, putting his feet up on the table and leaning back in the stable wooden chair. He ignored the glare that came from Rodney behind the bar counter. Darren blushed even deeper and looked away, placing a hand on his cheek to try and hide it.
“Nah, don't cover it up, it's cute, have a seat, Doll” Jimmy pushed out the chair beside him with his foot and gave Darren a friendly smile. Darren observed the offer for a short time and then shyly hurried over to the seat, pushing his hair back. “Can I get you a drink?” Jimmy offered.
“No,” Darren gagged out. Jimmy stared at him in question, the look on his face mostly unreadable, but it quickly changed to a humorous smile. “I mean…” Darren swallowed. “I don't drink, so, no, it's fine,” He said. By this point he was avoiding Jimmy's eyes, spinning a saltshaker, eyes focused on it intently.
“Oh,” Jimmy chuckled. “For a minute there I thought you were telling me off. So you don't drink…” Jimmy smiled. “Abstinence, I like that,” He complimented. It was harder to get a sober guy or girl into your bed, so Jimmy had come to notice, but it did increase the chances of a relationship over a one night stand.
“Well, as you may have guessed I'm not exactly the most expected to break any laws. I stayed away from it when I was younger and haven't gotten around to picking up anything with alcohol yet,” Darren explained. He was getting a little more comfortable now, instead of stuttering he was rambling.
“No alcohol then, that's cool, you wanna dance?” Jimmy asked. Darren bit his lip over a nervous smile and nodded, staring at the table as he did. Jimmy laughed aloud and picked up his hand, he couldn't help but notice that Darren was a little unstable in more ways than one. Jimmy stood up and Darren followed his lead, holding his hand tightly without realizing the intensity of his grip.
“So I take it your enthusiasm means you can actually dance?” Jimmy tugged the smaller man into his arms, pressing their body's together once in the center of the room. Darren gave him a slightly insulted look and nodded, did he look like someone who didn't know how to dance?
“Well, good, then you can teach me,” Jimmy smiled. Darren gave him a puzzled look, but decided immediately that a dance lesson wouldn't be so bad. He had to admit this guy was seductive in just about every way, hot too, Darren would have never have guessed that he didn't know how to dance. But no matter, Darren knew for a fact that he could dance, he'd done it a lot in high school at parties and such, dancing was one of his favorite things, and it was a piece of cake.
“All right,” Darren shrugged. “You ask me to dance but you don't know how?” He asked teasingly, a smile crossing his lips. Jimmy pouted at him, feeling a bit insulted as well as awkward as they were just standing on the dance floor with their bodies pressed together. “What kind of dancing do you wanna do?” Darren asked. He knew all kinds of stuff that could have gone with the music, not really anything special, but moves that he could throw together with little thought.
“Mmm, I like that,” Jimmy smiled and pointed to a couple of women, they seemed to be melted together, neither of them missed a beat and their bodies moved at the same speed. One was in front, and the other stood behind her, arms wrapped around her waist. One woman grinding against the other's lower body their hands laced together. Honestly, when Jimmy said he liked it he meant it in more ways than one.
“All right, well you're taller than me so you get behind me,” Darren held Jimmy's left wrist and turned away from Jimmy, placing the hand on the left side of his waist. Jimmy got the idea quickly and put his other hand on the right side of Darren's body, pulling him back slowly so that they were pressed together.
“Good?” Jimmy spoke into Darren's ear slyly, pressing himself against Darren's ass. Darren let out a long breath, unable to work his hands for a moment, wondering all of the sudden who was teaching who?
“Good,” Darren finally placed one hand on the back of Jimmy's head and looked up at him with hungry eyes. The other hand slid down Jimmy's thigh as their lips met and their hips began swinging to the beat. Just in time as a new song began, one that fit the arousing mood perfectly. Their lips hardly ever came apart and they practically owned the dance floor, for a beginner Jimmy sure knew what he was doing. He grinded himself hard against Darren's ass, but didn't get too aggressive, he kept with the music and matched the song without losing any control. Darren however, was being overtaken by a feeling between his legs, knowing, but not caring that Jimmy had out danced him for the most part.
When the song ended Jimmy pulled back on Darren's lips, smiling down at him, still in the same position.
“How'd I do?” He asked, tilting his head. Darren laughed at him, knowing that Jimmy had fooled him, he was so obviously not new to this type of dance floor foreplay.
“The old `I can't dance' trick, eh?” Darren smiled.
“Works every time,” Jimmy replied. “So, this mean I get to take you home?” He asked plainly, spinning Darren around swiftly so that they faced each other. Darren stared up at him in awe, he really didn't want to seem like an easy pick up but he really, really wanted to take that offer.
“I'll give you my phone number,” He suggested, a sly grin coming over him. Jimmy frowned at him, but accepted, knowing that Darren was his eventually, even if he was going to play hard to get. They exchanged phone numbers, punching them into each other's cell phones and then headed toward the bar counter.
“So you're a cop,” Jimmy poked the identification badge on the side of Darren's sleeve that read `NYPD'. Darren shrugged and nodded, hoping that didn't mean anything to Jimmy, or make a difference. “You know you haven't told me your name yet?” Jimmy gave him a cocky grin, it was off subject but at the moment he realized that the only thing he'd been able to call the man yet was `Doll.' Darren was a little dumb struck and his mouth fell open, wondering how he'd gotten by without saying his name.
“Darren,” He said quickly.
“Ah, that's a cute name, anyone ever call you Dare?” Jimmy asked a little off handedly.
“Not really, but it's not bad,” Darren shrugged. Come to think of it he never really had a nickname, his cousin used to call him Darry, but it would've been nice to have something one-syllable. It was just easier in a number of different situations.
“All right, Dare, what's it like being a cop? Any action? I heard that one guy… the one they call the Wraith is back,” Jimmy smirked behind his hand, wicked thoughts running through his head. “Creepy, huh?” He added, putting a hand over his mouth inconspicuously so that Darren wouldn't suspect anything by his expression.
“Oh… god, him,” Darren ran a hand through his hair. “He's good, so I've heard. Between you and me the captain just assigned us his case, it's bullshit, I'm scared out of my fucking mind just thinking about it,” He felt a chill run down his spine. Jimmy frowned at him, not exactly fond of the fact that this adorable creature was out to arrest him.
“Why should you be scared?” He asked, cocking his head. It was kind of funny, this was one of the first times he'd actually looked at a cop as a human being, with emotions and a mind of their own.
“Well, what if he knew? What if he knew that I'm the one that the dumb assed Captain has sent to put him behind bars. I mean, my partner's good with this stuff but I'm brand new, I've hardly been on the force for a month… just… what would he do if he knew? I'm no match for the Wraith, I don't want this…” His voice trailed off as he realized he was rambling as well as shaking. “Nobody even knows what he looks like, Jim, hell, honestly they're not even sure it's a he,” He could've made that a joke but he wasn't really in the mood anymore. Jimmy was concerned, he rather liked Darren, and didn't like the fact that he was shaking at the thought of the Wraith, Jimmy was the Wraith. Darren would have to figure that out sooner or later if they were to go anywhere with a relationship, but Jimmy was having doubts on how he'd take it.
“Well,” He said. “I think he'd think twice about picking you off if he knew how cute you were,” He smirked, trying to change the subject. “Or she,” He coughed. Darren was flattered and blushed, his mind leaving the subject that made him most nervous.
“Yeah,” Rodney's voice came from behind the counter. “If he knew that he'd probably just rape you, then kill you,” He was glaring daggers at Jimmy, but it was for the most part ignored.
“Don't mind Rod, he's a prick,” Jimmy was talking to Darren and looking at Rodney as he spoke. “No pun intended,” He smirked. Darren looked away, he didn't really want to be apart of it if the two men were going to start something. And the look the bar tender was giving Jimmy wasn't all that friendly.
“So, Darren, I better be going,” Jimmy said. “I'll ask again, are you coming with me?” He gave a half-hoping and half-seducing look. “Or should I just call you?” He smirked, teasingly. It didn't take much for Darren to decide that Jimmy wasn't impressed with his little game, and ended up agreeing to go home with the man.
Rodney stared at them as they left the bar holding hands and talking like old friends, he knew the feeling wasn't jealousy, but he was definitely angry and suspicious. Jimmy was his friend, and he couldn't help but feel like this whole situation was going to put a hurt on him, but he forced himself to let it go. Jimmy was stupid, and eventually he'd have to learn to think, and not much would teach him that but mistakes. Rodney didn't trust Darren, and he'd do his best to keep the two away from each other to keep his friend out of harm's way, after all he always had in the past. When the two were out of site he sighed and went over to Cody who was sexily running a wet over a mug at the sink.
“We should close early,” He smiled and wrapped his arms around Cody's waist. Cody simply smiled back and nodded, a thrill rushing down his spine. Rodney had never really closed his bar early unless he absolutely had to, but right now he found that very little was going to get his mind off that fact that Jimmy was probably going to be fucking a cop tonight. Cody, his obedient little pet, could get his mind off just about anything.
Darren found that his hands were shaking with excitement as he slid into the passenger side of Jimmy's car. This was a common thing for him, to get overly excited about going home with another guy, but the idea of that guy being as amazing as Jimmy was just made it harder to wait.
“Put your seatbelt on, copper, you wanna get me arrested?” Jimmy teased as he buckled himself in. Darren rolled his eyes and pulled his seatbelt down, pushing it into the other end until it clicked. Darren was honestly very good about putting his seat belt on and following the law in general, but at the moment he just wasn't thinking.
“Good boy,” Jimmy started the car and they were off.
The house was a lot bigger than Darren had expected, all though nothing he wasn't used to. His parents had bought him a giant mansion expecting him to somehow start a family right away. His mother had been under the impression that he would have a partner that he planned on keeping by the first night on his own, and then proceed to adopt every hobo kid (homeless child) on the streets as his own. It was lonely however, and not at all comfortable, to have a giant house full of guest rooms and no one to share it with, he wondered if Jimmy felt the same way.
He stepped in behind Jimmy slowly, surprised to find that everything was covered in dust, but otherwise very neat as if no one had stepped foot inside for months.
“You live here?” Darren asked, running his finger along the edge of a wooden shelf, picking up a mound of dust as by the time he got to the edge.
“Yeah, well, I did, I've been spending the summer at a summer home in Florida, I was here last night and the night before, but otherwise I haven't really had a chance, or motivation to clean things up,” He shrugged. Most of it was a lie, for he'd spent his first night back with one of his partners, vaguely planning the next job, and his summer home was in LA, not Florida. The fact that he hadn't been there very long and was too lazy to dust everything off, that was the truth.
“Oh, I sort of have a knack for cleaning you know? I mean, sometimes I just do it `cause I'm bored… if you like I could drop by and help you out sometime,” He shrugged, writing his name in the dust sub-consciously as he spoke. “Or we could do that tonight,” He shrugged. Jimmy looked over his shoulder at Darren's small work of art to see the words `Darren was here' written on his table. He laughed slightly and reached his arm around Darren, inserting the word `fucked' between `was' and `here.' Darren's face fell blank and he stared down at what Jimmy had done to his innocent words.
“Unless…” He swallowed. “…You had something else in mind?” Darren had hardly finished before he felt Jimmy's mouth upon his neck, soft lips sucking sweetly, teeth nipping at his skin. A whine escaped Darren's lips and he tilted his head to the side, exposing his neck more for encouragement. Jimmy continued to bite and kiss the warm flesh at Darren's collar bone, feeling a hand placed on the back of his head as Darren let out a sigh.
“The nearest bedroom is upstairs, Doll,” Jimmy pulled away, leaving a considerably large, nice hickey on Darren's neck. He smiled at it for a moment and then took Darren's wrist in his hand. “I want you,” He kissed the tips of the fingers and then headed toward the stairs, tugging the other man's arm. Darren didn't need to think twice about this, and hurried up the stairs after Jimmy.
Darren was surprised to find that Jimmy seemed to be planning to take it slow and sexy instead of fast and rough. At the time Darren didn't really agree with this, but he'd definitely accept it.
Smiles were obvious on both their faces as their lips pressed together over and over again, softly, neither opening his mouth yet. Darren slid his hands up Jimmy's shirt as the buttons on his uniform were undone, he felt more and more vulnerable as each one came undone, the anticipation grew. He hurried the kiss a bit, nipping at Jimmy's bottom lip and sliding his tongue across it a few times.
They were both still on two feet but Jimmy was forcing Darren backward with every step he took forward toward the bed. Jimmy broke the kiss for a moment so that his shirt could slide over his head, his bare chest was exposed as Darren tossed the shirt away. He didn't need more than a quick peak of that lean stomach to make him want more. He threw his arms around Jimmy's neck and crushed their lips together just as the backs of his legs hit the edge of the bed and he was pushed onto it. His head smashed into the many pillows as Jimmy shoved his tongue into the inviting mouth making sure to taste every single inch of it. Darren whined loudly in protest as his new uniform top was ripped open, one of the buttons went flying into the wall. Jimmy hardly noticed it and continued to undress the body below him, gripping the sides of the undershirt and readying to pull it off. Darren thrust his hips forward and they both moaned due to the contact, just before Jimmy tore the white shirt off of the other so that his top half was entirely bare.
It wasn't long before Jimmy was trying to get into his pants, straddling Darren's waist and focusing on the button and zipper. All Darren could do was lay there moaning, arching his back and bucking his hips as his pants were pulled down as well as a pair of black boxers. Darren looked down at his exposed cock, he wanted to touch it but kept his hands clenching the sheets at his sides, hoping Jimmy would do that for him. But Jimmy had his back turned, he was on his knees with his legs spread, trying to get Darren's shoes off as fast as possible. Darren got an extremely good view of the man's smooth, glowing back, as well as his ass in a tight pair of dark blue jeans, a site that he didn't mind watching at all.
Darren gasped in surprise when his pants were completely removed from his body, tossed onto his shoes along with his boxers. Jimmy turned back toward him to find Darren stroking his own cock, just the back of his fingers softly blushing over the tender flesh, he didn't want to do too much himself. Jimmy practically slapped his hand away and took Darren's throbbing penis into his own grasp, pumping it twice before dipping his head out to take the entire thing into his mouth. Darren shrieked and thrust into Jimmy's mouth, feeling the talented tongue press up against him as he disappeared into the other man's mouth.
“Shit,” Darren cried. “Fuck yes, Jimmy,” He moaned loudly and arched his hips; he was about to come. Jimmy took Darren's balls into his right hand and gave a slight squeeze and that was it; Darren shot his load straight into Jimmy's throat. Every last drop was swallowed as Jimmy let the cock slide between his lips. Darren was shaking in pleasure, he looked as if he'd had enough, but Jimmy was hardly anywhere near finished.
“My turn,” He smiled, crawling up to the head of the bed and reaching into the top drawer of his nightstand. He pulled out a tube of lubricant and a condom from the box. “I keep these in every room in the house, just in case,” He smirked as he unwrapped the condom. Darren watched him with half open eyes, they wondered all over the glowing body, every inch of the man was beautiful, and it was making Darren hard again.
Jimmy rolled the condom over his cock and squeezed a good amount of lube into his hand. Darren gasped when he felt the cool cream contact his puckering hole, a shiver running down his back. He kept his legs propped up, grunting and gasping as the ointment was pushed into his hole along with Jimmy's fingers. His eyes were sealed shut, and he only barely realized what was about to happen when the fingers were removed. He felt a large, hard object press against his entrance and his eyes popped open to see that Jimmy was more than ready to penetrate him. As soon as their eyes met he thrust into the hole, his head going deep into the other's body. Darren let out a cry of both pleasure and pain, pressing the top of his head into the wall behind him.
“Fuck…” He cried as Jimmy pushed in further. “Deeper!” He begged. “Harder! Faster!” Jimmy was excited by these requests and obeyed each one of them, pushing himself deeper, ramming harder, and quickening his pace. His eyes stayed locked on Darren's face loving the expression and emotion that was displayed there. Darren kept moaning and screeching, and Jimmy kept on fucking, pushing harder with each thrust, knowing it wouldn't be long now.
