Air Ship
Jack twirled around. “Such fun! Such fun! Whee!” Anna Jane and
group tried to follow behind. Vivian rolled her eyes.
“This better not be a trap!” she hissed. Logan patted her
shoulder.
“Calm down,” he whispered. Vivian frowned.
“This is dumb,” she muttered. Jack giggled. Meanwhile, Anna Jane
didn't look fazed at all. Where was this going? She had to know.
Suddenly, everyone came to a complete stop in the forest. Jack
turned again, grinning.
“And here we are!” he shouted, arms in the air. The group stared,
wide-eyed and jaws to the group. Jack stood in front of a giant
silver zeppelin the size of an American football field.
“Wow!” Anna Jane said. Th surface shined bright enough to blind
everyone.
“Ta-da!” Jack said. “Welcome to my private ship!” Vivian
blinked.
“That's it?” she asked.
“Uh-huh,” Jack said. The geisha wrinkled her nose.
“Seriously?” she asked.
“Yes,” the forest king. “Come on! Climb on.” The group didn't move
at first. Jack stood, waiting.
“Go on. Get on! Get on!” he cheered. The group wouldn't budge.
Finally, Anna Jane walked forward.
“Anna Jane!” Vivian shouted.
“It's fine,” the smaller girl said. “We have to find the city
anyway.” The large door opened in front of her. Jack bowed.
“After you,” he said. Anna Jane walked inside. Logan raced inside.
George waddled behind. Vivian dropped her shoulders and sighed.
“Fine,” she muttered. Vivian followed the rest of the group. Jack
grinned as she walked by.
“Have fun,” he said. The geisha glared at him as she boarded the
zeppelin. Jack danced inside and closed the door after him.

The inside of the air ship looked like a grand hall. Purple plush
carpets on the floor. Purple and gold wallpaper on the walls. All
the seats were bright red. Two tables were stocked with food and
drink. Two more game tables.
“Wow!” Anna Jane said. Vivian fought to try and not to look
impressed.
“Heh,” she said. Jack walked up the control room.
“Welcome aboard the Silver Rider!” he said over the mic. “This is
your captain speaking. I am Forest King Jack and I will take you
over the mountains. Enjoy your flight!” He turned off the mic. Jack
waved his fingers in the air.
“Here we go! Up, up, and away!” he shouted. The forest king flipped
on the switch.
“Everyone fasten your belts!” he said. The passengers all took
their seats. The air ship began its slow climb up. Anna Jane and
Jack grinned to themselves. They made take off.
But nothing really goes right with vehicles and the crew, now does
it?
